GIMP ➺ basic ➺ cover
Hyi!
This is a simple tutorial to teach you how to make a simple cover in GIMP.
These are some tools you will need/be useful in GIMP. This is a series on this account in the tutorial book. =)
A small note on this tutorial: This tutorial had some pictures involved, but @Skareh couldn't find them anymore, sorry!
This tutorial has been made possible by @Skareh.
We'll start with the tutorial, grab gimp (or read it first) and follow this tutorial!
Go to file in the menu and click new. Add the Wattpad cover size.
Go back to file in the menu and click open this as layers. The file you want to click on and click on open.
Move the image with clouds to the right.
Scale the bird to 512 and push the sheet up.
Move it down and zoom into 800.
Go all the way to the right and move the bird low all the way in the corner, not the bird, but the layer.
Put the layer with light in the middle and lighten it. At the bottom, click duplicate and print that layer. Put this layer on 40%.
Type the flying bird in. Set in tool options: in the middle, in white and 60 quarters.
Put GraphelpAngels on the cover as the author name.
Select the flying bird as low.
Click Filters and then on light and shadow. Click Drop Shadow.
Click OK if you are satisfied with the numbers.
Put the flame on fire and push it up to 60%.
Put the cover down on the cover.
Save as and then export.
It's a little bit less sorry for that!
Greetings,
The team of GraphelpAngels
