GIMP ➺ basic ➺ change colors
Hyi!
This is a simple tutorial to teach you how to change a (for example) eye color, how to use a free selection and how to give something different in GIMP.
These are a few tools you will need / handy in GIMP. This is a series on this account in the tutorial book. =)
This is one of the ways to change a color, which I personally think is quite easy. If you want to see more to change colors (in GIMP), tell me and I'll, Aniles or Skareh, look at who has time to prepare a tutorial! = D
This tutorial has been made possible by Skareh.
We'll start with the tutorial, grab gimp (or read it first) and follow this tutorial!
Go to file in the menu and click open. Open your image (eyes are the easiest, try to get started) you want to use.
Click on the "free selection" icon (hold your mouse on any icon for a few seconds to find out what it's called and how it's called) and zoom into 800.
Move the scroll arrows to one eye and select it by clicking on several pieces as a fence. Do not forget to connect to the first one! (Tip: With a tablet, it's a bit faster than a mouse and something more precise.)
Click colors in the menu and click "colorize". Choose your color and click Ok.
Go to select from the menu and click nothing.
Do exactly the same with the other eye from the free range!
That's all! Well, so you've learned how to select something with the free selection tool, how to change an eye color and how to give something different color!
If you have any questions please feel free to reply in the comments or pm, AnilesGraphs and Skareh!
Greetings,
The team of GraphelpAngels
