RANT #1, REQUESTING VIA PM.

okay, first of all, beware of cussing and me being a mess lmao.

basically, there is one pet peeve that i've encountered on wattpad, especially in my new graphics shop. actually, there's a whole lot more than one (there are about a zillion) but i'll leave the rest for a later date :)

okay, i know this doesn't sound like a legitimate thing to get pissed about, but there are a couple of reasons why you shouldn't do this. over the short time i've been a graphics editor, people seem to think they have a right to request through pm when there is a forms/slots chapter where you can just dump your completed form. it's not that hard!

one, it's a pain in the ass.

we don't want to have to refer back to the pm thread whenever we're trying to make your covers :(

two, we'll (actually maybe just me) lose your form.

i get so many pm's about just random shit that i may as well close them entirely, ugh. i've actually done this before and lost someone's form and we haven't spoken since (it's been like a month oops) 

pming means that your form is also separate from everyone else's and i'll probably forget about it ahaha

three, most people don't fill out the form correctly.

i once had someone request and their form went like this (i changed it a little because i don't want to antagonise anyone, sorry)

hi im looking for cover. can u do this for me plz

title: dating my oppa (lmaooo i made this up don't go searching bahah)

person: jimin and tae can he plz have red hair thx

colour: dark

well, thanks a lot for basically providing me with no information?! 

(also this person did ask for two characters and wrote "can he have red hair" and i wheezed)

i appreciate the lengths this person went to tell me that either jimin or tae should have red hair (to this day, i still don't know which one) but 'dark' is not a good colour to go with- you could mean this:

or even this:

like they're all dark in some way?! and they all look completely different (and yes i did steal from my own cover folder bahaha these are all gross covers i've made in the past)

this person also didn't give me a template, subtitle, etc.. haha, thanks for reading what was required on the form.
