She wore the saree and came out, she helped Maria in preparing the dinner. Guests started to arrive...

Jasmeet who insult Manvi at their wedding Anniversary was one of the guests. Gautami angered seeing her, she asked: "Vineet tune isko yahan kyun bulaya hai?"

"Dekhna chahta hun mai maa..aapki bahu ko school bhejne ka fayda hua bhi hai ya nahi.." he said.

Manvi collided with Jasmeet. Jasmeet started shouted "are you blind? Can't you see while walking?"

Manvi stared at her.. Jasmeet then realised.. "Oh.. you uneducated classless woman.. Tumhe toh samajh hi nahi aaya maine kya kaha hai.. Idiot.." she insulted her.

Manvi turned, but saw people staring at her. She looked back at Jasmeet and answered her "I may be uneducated but I know how to respect people.. And this is my house so you don't have any right to insult me"

Jasmeet was left shocked hearing her. Vineet and Gautami felt proud hearing this. Manvi looked at Vineet and passed a smile.

"Manvi.. Aaj tum itni to educated ho ki unhe jawab de sako jo tumhari insult kare.. Hamesha hum nahi honge tumhare liye" she recalled Vineet's words right before going to the party and managed to give an answer to jasmeet.

Jasmeet said "sirf itni english bolne se tum hamare jaise nhi ho jaogi.."

"Aapke jaise main hona bhi nahi chahti hun.." Manvi replied and left.

Jasmeet fumed in anger, she wanted to get revenge from her for the insult. A person informed Manvi about Gautami calling her to the store room.

Manvi looked and Gautami was not here, she went to the store room. Jasmeet locked the door from outside with a smile on her face. It was all dark inside and she was scared of it. She knocked on the door "maa.. Vineet.. Darwaza kholiye"

"Meri insult karegi."

Vineet looked for Manvi but was unable to find her.

Here Manvi was scared, she just moved a bit and hit something, the old chair fell on her and she dropped down on the floor hitting her head.

"Aah.."

She shouted in pain as she hit her stomach.. "Aah.. Vineet.."

Vineet heard her scream and rushed towards the storeroom, he opened the door and was shocked seeing her lying on the floor lying in the pool of her own blood.

"Aah.. Vineet mera bachcha..'' She cried in extreme pain.

His eyes became wide hearing the last words from her mouth.

He rushed towards her and held her hand.. "Manvi.."

"Vineet please... bahut dard ho raha hai.. Hamara bachcha.." she cried with tears flowing down her eyes.

He picked her up in his arms and took her to the hospital. He reached the hospital as quickly as possible. He took her to the emergency ward and the doctor attended to her.

The incident flashed in front of his eyes, how she was shouting in pain holding her belly. The shocking fact was the news that she was pregnant. He just could not believe she hid it from him.

He thought deeply and understood the reason for her health deteriorating during the exams.

"Nahi bas normal hai.."

"Kuch nahi aise hi chakkar aa gaya hai.."

Gautami kept her hand on his shoulder... "Beta kuch nahi hoga.."

He looked at her with disheartened "usne itni badi baat humhe nahi batayi maa.."

"I am sorry beta.. Meri galti hai usne mujhe letter diya tha tumhe dene ke liye.. But main guest attend ke chakkar mein tumhe dena bhool gayi.." Gautami shared the letter.

He held the letter, and the doctor came out. Vineet asked curiously "doctor kaise hai Manvi?"

"Maine usse pehle hi kaha tha apna khayal rakhe wo.. But she did not.. I am sorry but she suffered a miscarriage.." Doctor shared the grief.

Vineet was taken back hearing this. He was angered with her for hiding the news from him. He left the hospital leaving Gautami behind.

She shouted "Vineet ruk beta.." but it went in vain.

He sat inside the car hitting his hand on the steering wheel. He saw the letter and opened it..

Vineet.. Bahut dino se aapse kehna chah rahi thi main par kah nhi paayi.. Exams se pehle mujhe pata chala main pregnant hun socha uss din hi aapko bata dun par nahi hua.. Agar aapko bata deti toh aap mujhe padhne se rok dete.. Par main aapki aur maa ko meri wajah se sharminda hote aur nahi dekh sakti thi..Socha ek baar exams ho jaye phir aapko good news dungi.. Padhai karte karte mujhe lagne laga ab main aapke kaabil ban sakti hun, school ka fair well mujhe wo sab karne ko mila jiski maine umeed nhi ki thi.. Aur main bhool gayi ki main pregnant hun.. Aapne mujhe wo sapne dikhaye jeene main jeene lagi thi.. Phir maine decide kiya ye sapne yahi khatam ho jaye toh thik hai kyuki maa banana usse zyada zaroori tha.. Yahi wajah thi maine aapse zid ki mujhe college nahi jaana hai.. Naraz honge na? Par aap jante hai aise hi hoon main.. Jaise hi aap ye letter padhe main aapki khushi dekhna chahti hun.. Aur mujhe pata hai jab aap feel karenge to sab narazgi khatam ho jayegi aapki.. And sorry once again..

He closed it, tears slipped down his eyes. He just could not hold his emotions. He went back to the hospital. He entered the room and saw Gautami sitting beside Manvi.

Gautami stood up and approached Vineet. "Vineet.. Tera gussa hona jayas hai par abhi Manvi ko teri zaroorat hai.."

He nodded affirmatively..

He moved towards Manvi, she was sitting silently staring at the wall. He kept his hand on hers, she closed her eyes and tears started to slip down her eyes. He could hear her silent cry.

"Manvi..." he took her name.

She looked at him with silent eyes. He saw guilt in her eyes, she was feeling guilty for being irresponsible.

"Kho diya maine.. Galti itne saalo se galti karti aayi hun par ab toh sabse badi galti kar di maine.." she said in a broken tone.

She requested him.. "Dijiye saza.. Dijiye na.." he pulled her into a hug. She started to cry out loud..

He tried to calm her down, rubbing his hand on her head.. "Shant ho jao.. Manvi.. Jo hua use hum badal nahi sakte hai"

She hugged him tighter, the happiness was turned into a sorrow. The pain of losing an unborn child is undefined. Vineet made her lay on the bed, she held his hand tightly. He assured her he is not going anywhere.

Soonish, she slept. Gautami said "Vineet.."

He hugged her and was in tears, she consoled her. "It is my fault maa.. Maine hi kaha tha na sirf padhai hi target hona chahiye aur kuch nahi.."

"Nahi beta.. Ye jo hua sab upar waale ki marzi hoti hai.. Khudko blame nahi karo aur ab nahi toh agli baar sahi ye khushi dubara aa jayegi.. Hmm" she said softly and tried to control the situation.

"Abhi bas Manvi ko sambhalna hai.. Humhe baaki sab baadmein" she said.

He agreed...

Soon, Manvi was discharged. Vineet took her home and made her lay on bed comfortably. She had been silent, she kept her hand on her belly and silent tears slipped down her eyes.

Gautami sat beside her holding her hand, Vineet went out of the room to get something to eat.

"Nahi beta.." Gautami wiped her tears.

Manvi said.. "Bahut badi galti ho gayi mujhse.. Kaho unse mujhe saza de jaise pehle diya karte they.. Shayad agli baar wo galti na karun main.."

Gautami hugged her.. "Nahi beta.. Tumhari galti nahi hai.. Zindagi ka safar hi aisa hai kab khushi kab gham aa jaye pata hi nahi chalta.. Par beta sab khatam toh nhi hua hai na??"

Manvi looked up at her.. "Janti hun main tumne kya khoya hai.. Samajhti bhi hun lekin ye aakhiri mauka toh nahi hai na.. Tumhe aur bhi mauke milenge maa banane ke aur tab main Vineet khayal rakhenge tumhe kuch na ho.."

"Nahi aap dono ki galti nahi hai.. Main wo sapne jeene lagi thi jo mera ateet hona chahiye tha.. Aur bhool gayi main aaj mera kuch aur hai.. Please maa ab mujhse nahi hoga nahi padhna hai mujhe ab aap aur Vineet saath hai aur nahi chahiye mujhe kuch.." Manvi said with a grief of losing the child.

"Thik hai beta.. Jaisi teri marzi.." Gautami agreed..

Manvi was heartbroken after losing her child. In order to achieve something she lost a bigger happiness. She was shattered by it.
