Vineet reached home in the evening, Manvi smiled seeing him. She served him coffee "Aapki coffee"

"Mujhe nahi peeni hai" he said in anger.

She sighed, she kept the mug on the table and asked "dinner mein kya khayenge aap?"

"Jo banana hai banado" he said

"Aap aise kyun baat kar rahe hai mujhse?" she asked.

"Yahi saza hai tumhari mujhe satane ki" he replied and moved to his room.

She thought "sabke jaate hi wapas aise behave karne lage.."

She sneezed a bit and then moved to the room. "Vineetji sorry na main toh aise hi kaha tha ki main jaa rahi hun maa ke saath"

"Kyun kaha? bekar mein mujhe irritate kiya, gussa dilaya tumne fir baad mein kahogi meri galti hai" he said.

"Wo mujhe aapka irritation dekhna tha na" she said with a smile and lowered her gaze "Aap cute lagte hai"

He glanced at her. "Kya kaha tumne?" he asked.

"Kuch nahi" she quickly moved to the bed and laid down covering herself with blanket.

Vineet smiled and shook his head. He moved and uncovered her. He touched her hand and felt it warm. He was shocked "Manvi.. Tumhara haath garam kyun hai?"

"Aise hi hoga.." she said.

"Nahi ruko" he touched her forehead and said in concern "tumhe bukhar hai"

Suddenly she closes her eyes, he held her before she could feel and hit her head on the bed. He made her lay properly "Manvi.." he called her but in vain.

He took out his phone and called for the family doctor. He sat beside her holding her hand.

Soon the doctor arrived and checked her.

"Mr. Singhaniya she is fine. Baarish mein bheegne ki wajah se bukhar aaya hai kal tak thik ho jayegi shayaad kuch khaya bhi nahi hai inhone" she said.

He nodded, she kept the medicines "aap yeh de dena inhe jab uth jaye. don't worry" she said and left from there.

He looked at her and said "yeh ladki itni laparwah kaise ho sakti hai.. Uthe ek baar fir batata hun"

He called Maria and asked her to make something for Manvi.

After an hour, Manvi opened her eyes. She tried to get up, he helped her out.

He asked "bheegi kaise tum baarish mein?" in calm tone.

"Wo office se laut te waqt kuch lena tha chatta nahi tha mere paas" she replied.

"Subah se kuch khaya kyun nahi?" he questioned her.

"Soch rahi thi aapka gussa kaise shant karun?" she said.

He forwards the food and asked her to eat. She silently ate the food, after the food he gave her the medicines. She took them, he moved away the plate. Maria took it and left the room.

"Abhi soh jao subah tak thik ho jaogi" she agreed and lay down again.

He covered her with blanket, she closed her eyes. He was about to get up but she was sleeping holding his hand. He smiled and laid down in the remaining space as he didn't want to disturb her.

The next morning, Vineet opened his eyes. He got up and informed his. Manager "yeah main office nahi aa raha hun aaj!"

Manvi opened her eyes, she stood up and was feeling much better. She smiled as she heard what he said. He had really changed and the care he showed last night had amazed her.

He asked "uth kyun gayi?"

"Nashta banana hai" she replied.

He glanced her, "iss ghar mein naukar hai jo kaam kar sakte hai samjhi tum! Chup chap aaram karo" he said in warning tone.

She nodded and sat back on bed. The day passed by, later at night, he checked her temperature, it was normal.

She said "main thik hun Vineetji abhi bukhar nahi hoga dubara"

He smiled lightly and then gazed her with anger "aisa bhi kya lena tha tumhe jo baarish ke rukne ka itnezar nahi hua?" he scolded her.

"Main.. wo.." she said.

"Meri baat khatam nhi hui hai Manvi abhi, waise toh tumhe sabka khayal rehta hai lekin khudke mamle mein itni laparwah kaise ho sakti ho tum? Haan? Aur ye kya bewakufi hai subah se kuch nhi khana.. Chalo pehle ki baat aur thi main saza deta tha and all lekin ab kyun? Haan?" he asked her.

Tears leaked down her eyes, he said in calm tone "Are roh kyun rahi ho? Ab maine kya kiya?"

She shook her head and said "kuch nahi wo pehli baar aapne itne pyar se mujhe meri laparwahi pe daanta na na toh aansu aa gaye"

The way she spoke made him smile. She looked at him making face "aap has kyun rahe hai?"

"Kuch nahi.. Lekin mujhe jaanna hai kya itna important lena tha tumhe?" he asked while wiping her tears.

She smiled and said "Wo maa ne kaha tha ki aapke paas blazers jo hai sab purane ho gaye hai toh maine liya"

She pulled out the box underneath the bed and gave to him. He eyed her and asked "ye baad mein bhi liya jaa sakta tha?"

"Offer tha, khatam ho jaata" she replied innocently.

He shook his head, he opened it and smiled "thank you.." he said.

She looked at him keenly "Aapko pasand aaya sach mein?" she asked.

"Haan.." he said.

She smiled. He asked "waise maa ne kaha isliye tum leke aayi?"

"Jee nahi wo.. Mujhe pata tha aap naraz ho jayenge jab main maa ke saath jaane ki baat karungi aur aap hue bhi socha ye le lun to shayad aap maan jaaye" she replied.

He glanced at her for a moment. She looked away.. "Subah jaldi uthna hai soh jaate hai" she said.

"Tum so jao mujhe thoda kaam hai office ka" he replied.

She nodded and lay down on bed, she closed her eyes and soon felt asleep.

The next morning, she stood up and moved to the washroom to fresh up. She came out and slid the wardrobe door to take her dupatta.

Vineet was on call, he came to the wardrobe on right side and slide the door towards left where Manvi was. It hit her head as she was searching for her matching dupatta.

"ahhh" a sigh escaped from her mouth.

Vineet looked towards her and was shocked. He ended the call, Manvi holds her forehead.

"sorry maine dekha nahi" he said.

"nahi koi baat nahi" she said lifting down her hand. She took her dupatta and moved out of the room.

He pulled out his clothes and moved to the washroom. After sometime he came out. Manvi entered inside to were her bangles.

He looked at her forehead. A scar was there and some blood too.

"Manvi.. you are hurt.. Khoon bhi aa raha hai bataya kyun nhi? " he said.

"chota sa hi kharoch hai Vineet ji thik ho jayega" she said with a light smile.

He glanced at her and said "khud thik nhi hoga"

She nodded, she got the first aid box. She sat on bed and pulled out the cotton. She tried to clean it but was not getting it right.

He sighed, he came and sat beside her and took the cotton from hand "bol sakti ho. Khud karne ki zaroorat nhi thi" He said

He cleaned the blood she replied "aap bhi toh khudse kar sakte they"

He glanced at her silently. He puts the bandage and said "sorry."

"maine kaha na hota hai Pehle jab chot lagti thi to aap meri taraf dekhte bhi nhi they aaj aapne khudse bandage kiya yahi badi baat hai" She replied while looking at him.

"waise maa nhi hai main to office chala jaunga tum kya karogi?" he questioned.

"jee kuch nhi Maria ki madad kar dungi kaam mein bore hone se better hai" she replied.

Something striked his mind "Chalo ready ho jao" he said.

She asked bewildered "kyun?"

"just do it.." He said.

She nodded but she did not moved. He asked "kya soch rhi ho? Change karo"

"ji wo aap bahar jayenge to main Change karungi na" she said.

He picked up his phone and left the room closing the door behind.

Manvi came out after dressing up and asked "kaha jaana hai?"

" Fashion show hai aaj wahi jaana hai" he spoke.

"pichli baar ki tarah gadbad ho gayi toh?" she asked.

He recalled last time what happened. He smiled "aisa kuch nahi hoga chalo"

They moved out of the house. They reached the venue in 20 minutes.

Naina came running to him and said "sir there is a problem hamare models they have not turned up".

He scolded her "Naina ye har baar kyun hota hai? Janti ho na ye show kitna important hai we have to get it done"

"sorry sir.. I will just handle it" naina said and moved backstage.

"aap gussa mat kijiye kuch na kuch kar legi nainaji" Manvi spoke.

"Manvi agar yahan gadbad hui to bahut nuksan ho jayega.." he said.

Manvi said "aap kahe to main kuch karun?"

"what will you do?" he asked...

She told him something, a smile appeared on his face. He pulled her to backstage..

Vineet informed his staff what needed to be done.

Naina smiled "it is great idea sir and humse pehle 2 aur shows hai.. We can easily do it"

"Then get to work quick" he said..

Naina informed "Sir we need one more person agar aap kahe toh Manvi mam?"

"Nahi wo nahi she can't wear high heels and walk on ramp abhi jitna hai utne se kaam chalado baaki we will see" he said and left from there.

Vineet came and talked with person. The host announced "so here we have last for the day then it will decided who will get the contract.. Please welcome VS collections.."

The girls and boys started to ramp walk. "Sir yeh toh hamare staff members hai" the person said shockingly.

Vineet looked around "yeh Manvi kaha chali gayi?"

"Vineet Sir.. wo Manvi mam stage pe aane wali hai" Naina came running.

He was shocked "what??"

"Maine mana kiya tha na tumhe" he said in anger.
