Vineet was unable to sleep whole night. It was 6am in the morning, Manvi stood up and picked up the pillow. She kept it on bed to other side. She was about to leave when Vineet held her wrist.

"Manvi suno" he said.

"Sirji haath chodiye bahut dard karta hai jab aap aise pakadte hai mujhe" she said. He left her hand and she moved out of the room.

Vineet sighed. He stood up and moved to the bathroom, he stood under the shower with closed eyes.

"Aukat kya hai tumhari iss ghar mein?"

"Na maa baap ka pata hai na koi pehchan hai tumhari"

"Kitni baar kaha hai mera kaam mat bigada karo tum"

"Aapko humdardi dikhane ki zaroorat nahi hai Sirji"

"Itni saalo se aapki sun rahi hun main"

He opened his eyes, closed the shower and moved out of the bathroom. He got ready and came for the breakfast.

Ruhana and Gautami were having a conversation with a smile on their faces.

Gautami looked at Vineet and asked "kya baat hai beta? Lagta hai raat bhar soye nahi ho tum!"

"Kuch nahi Maa" he said.

He thought "baat toh karke rahunga aaj Manvi se"

Manvi came with the breakfast and served them. Gautami complained "kya Manvi mujhe itna boiled breakfast de rahi ho tum"

Manvi smiled and said "maa yeh aapki health ke liye hi hai warna aap beemar pad gayi toh koi mujhe saza de dega"

Vineet eyed her and knew it was for him. Ruhana smiled at this.

"Sirji aap nashta kijiye na warna late ho jayenge toh mujhe iljzam laga denge" Manvi taunted.

Vineet looked at her silently and then ate the breakfast.

Gautami smiled. Ruhana winked at Manvi as she was doing a great job.

He ate the breakfast and stood up, Manvi picked up the plate. He said "Manvi wo tiffin?"

"Chinta mat kijiye aapka tiffin aapko office mein mil jayega lekin main nahi dikhungi waha aur na hi aapka koi kaam bigdega. " she said and moved to the kitchen.

Vineet sighed, Ruhana asked "kya hua? Gussa aa raha hai?"

He shook his head in no.. "nahi.." and moved out of the house.

Gautami and Ruhana burst out laughing.

He sat inside the car and banged his hand on the steering wheel.

Manvi was in the kitchen making food, Ruhana entered inside and sat on the slap. "Waah Manvi maza aa gaya kya jawab diye hai tumne Mr. arrogant ko"

Manvi looked at her and said "kuch zyada nhi bol diya maine? Unhe kitna bura laga hoga?"

Ruhana shook her head and said "nahi tumne jo kaha sahi kaha bura lagega tabhi usko pata chalega uske bartav se dusron ko kaisa lagta hai! Bas keep continuing this."

Manvi nodded positively. They got busy in their works. Later in the day, Ruhana took Manvi and Gautami to a nearby mall.

"Main aap logon ko shopping karvaungi. Chaliye jaldi se le lijiye kya lena hai. " Ruhana said.

"Par kyun beta? " Gautami asked.

"aunty aapne bulaya aur main aa gayi. Aur aapke gifts reh gaye. Aur phir Manvi ko bhi gift dena tha na. " she said.

"Uski zaroorat nahi. " manvi said.

"zaroorat hai manvi. Tumse pehli baar mili hoon main. Chalo jo pasand hai wo lelo. Tum nahi logi toh main samjhungi ki tum mujhe apna dost nahi maanti. " Ruhana said.

Manvi nodded and chose a dress for herself while gautami chose a saree. After shopping they returned back home but were surprised to see Vineet at home.

"Vineet tu itni jaldi aa gaya? " gautami questioned.

"uffo aunty, aapka beta pareshan hai.. Kaam nahi hua hoga, hai na vineet? " Ruhana questioned.

"bas thoda sa sar dard tha aur kaam nahi tha toh jaldi aa gaya maa. " He replied.

"Main chai bana leti hoon. " Manvi spoke and went to the kitchen.

Ruhana sat on the couch...

"Vineet can you get a water bottle from the fridge? Bahut pyas lagi hai! "she said.

He just nodded and went into the kitchen. Manvi was taking out milk and as she turned she saw him. She turned to the other side and continued her work.

"How could you ignore me? " he asked.

"Main toh ek servant hoon na sirji! Main kyun ignore karne lagi aapko. Saza nahi chahiye mujhe. " she said.

He sighed. Manvi glanced at him...

"acha nahi laga sunke? Mujhe bhi nahi lagta, par kya karun, niyati wahi hai meri. " she said and strained the tea in cups and moved out.

Outside, Ruhana shouted...

"Vineet kitni derr lagti hai Paani laane mein,jaldi aao na. "

"Ruhana, unhe bas apne waqt ka andaza hai, dusron ka nhi. Aap chai pijiye." Manvi spoke as she sensed him coming.

Ruhana smiled... "thik kaha tumne Manvi.. And i hate such people. "she said.

"I hate people jinhe kaam krne ka saleeka nahi hota."

"tumse ek kaam thik se nahi hota"

All the words which he said to Manvi echoed in his ears. His trance was broken by Manvi's words

"Ye saree maa ne apni bahu ke liye chuni hai, lekin sahi maynon mein bahu nahi bani main unki. Main toh sirf unki caretaker hoon, hai na? " she asked looking at vineet.

"bas anjane mein ek naukrani se rishta bana baithe wo. " manvi spoke.

It reminded vineet of that night in goa. He left the place. Ruhana smirked...

"shabash manvi! Aise hi karo. Yunhi seedha hoga wo. Tum fresh ho jao aur aunty ko room. Mein le jao. Main aati hoon. " she said.

Vineet's room

He was pacing up and down.. Ruhana entered in...

"bade shant ho. Baat kya hai? " she asked.

"Jaise tumhe nahi pata! "he glared at her.

She smiled.. "bura laga? Agr uske taunt itne bure lag rahe hai toh socho jab wo roz aisa bolegi toh kaisa lagega? "she asked.

He was silent. She looked at him..

"tum bhi aisa hi karte they uske sath. Itna hi bura usey bhi lagta tha. Ab samajh aaya farak? " she asked.

"Vineet wo ladki bina kisi baat ke, bin kuch kahe tumhari maa ka dhyan rakhti hai, tumhare sab kaam karti hai. Badle mein bas thodi si izzat aur pyar hi chahti hai. Wo nahi de sakte tum usko!" she asked.

"aunty ko, mujhe tumpar bahut garv tha vineet, lekin tumne sab choor choor kar diya. Tumne aunty ko parvarish pe ungli utha di hai vineet. Manvi jo kar rahi hai sahi hai. Agar baat karna chahte ho toh zara saleeke aur pyar se karo,rudeness se nahi. "she said.

"Agar nahi kar sakte toh thik hai manvi parso mere sath chali jayegi, phir nahi aayegi yahan. " she said and left while vineet determined to talk to Manvi.
