*3rd pov*

Alucard and Neo found themselves in a bullhead with lots of people who hates them. Cinder wanted insurance that the White Fang can do the job so she sent them with a man named Adam Taurus. He was going to liberate some the faunus from the dust mines in Atlas. Adam needed more fame among his peers to gain control over the fang. This was a way to legitimize his claim. Giving a black eye to the Schnees was just a bonus in Adam's eyes.

However he threw a fit when Cinder told him to take the mercenaries with him. He felt anything a human could do, a faunus could do infinitely better. And he made it so very clear he hated having to work with these two little humans. Every chance he got he glared at them. What infuriated him was the fact the didn't seem to care or even notice. The girl was eating another gallon of ice cream and the boy was going over the briefing.

*Alucard pov*

Well this is fun. Having to play babysitter to a fun bunch like this. Officially I'm to help Adam play savior to all the poor faunus, but I also had to kill the overseer of the mine. He had documents for the Schnee company at large and Cinder wanted them. Because Neo can pretend to be a faunus with her semblance, she was going to oversee the assault of the mine while I took down the boss and steal his shit.

But oh God can these guys just shut up! If I hear human scum again I might save the Schnees some time and kill the lot of them. I get the fact that their oppressed, but why hate Neo and I? I'm helping you dumbasses! Then theirs Adam. He can't stop glaring at us. He is trying to intimidate us but I don't have time to play with a grumpy idiot.

Alucard: Adam can you stop. Your distracting me.

Adam: You don't get to demand anything human! Your kind is a blight on this planet.

Alucard: God damn your annoying. Look I don't care about your personal problems, I just want to be paid. So just shut up and let me read. You got the easy part. I need to infiltrate a bunker alone, while you get to take all the credit when Neo carries your sorry ass to the mine. Why do you think I had to bribe her with 3 gallons of ice cream before we got here?

Adam: Why you-

Pilot: Get ready were almost there Adam. Human you have the next stop.

Adam: Hmph.

Alucard: Oh great, the noble leader of the White Fang is tsundere... Sorry but I'm straight.

A few snickers from his own men were heard. Seems like not all his men have sticks shoved up their asses.

The aircraft landed and with one last glare he left with his men and Neo.

Pilot: You got some big brass balls saying that to Adam kid. He is considered the best swordsman in the fang.

Alucard: I know and I'm considered a monster. Rumors don't mean much to me.

The ride was silent from there. After a few minutes I landed at the drop point.

Getting off I looked around. My target seemed to be in the main building near the drop point. Strange, the security seems to be heightened. The guards are replaced with military grade soldiers and turrets. The night air seemed a little colder when I considered that we might have been compromised.

Sighing, I went along the wall of the complex. They may be soldiers, but they seemed to be as lazy as anyone else. I made a shadow grappling hook and climbed up the side to the roof. The guy and plans I'm looking for are on the top floor after all.

The roof was devoid of life. Then the first of many explosions happened in the mine. Hopefully that distracts the guards enough to get this done.

Inside, the place was in a panic. The soldiers rushed out the building to meet the fang. All according to plan. That said what's with those multicolored people? They don't look like atlas grunts. More like vale... hunters... FUCK YOU OZDICK!!!

Ok this went from easy to complicated as hell. Ozpin isn't known to just send people without thinking at least three steps ahead. I'm fine the hunters here are more students than kids and most are joining the soldiers and Neo is safe cause she only was to get the fang past the first guards. Once the explosions start her job is done.

Well more than half of the hunters here are gone. All that's left is four and one of them tried to follow them. A blonde girl pulled her back and started to argue with her. Whatever.

Slipping into the office, the target was looking out the large window behind him. Scowling muttering about damn animals or some such thing I covered his mouth and stabbed him through the neck from behind. I then got the key that was around his neck and opened his desk with it. Bingo! The papers were there and only one guy died. That's how a professional does it.

???: Mr. Sharp i want to apologize for how... Blake... Acted...

Ah shit.

Turning quickly I saw a white haired girl in a white colored outfit. She dropped the two cups of coffee she was holding and screamed. She fumbled with her weapon but I charged past her while shoving her to the side. Well if that didn't break my cover I don't know what would. Her friends ran up and I gotta say their a weird bunch. Why the hell are they color coded? Red white yellow black? Is this a joke? They look like a idol group than hunters.

???: Stop!!

Uhh how about no? This their first time or something? What kind of assassin just stops when told.

The group followed me to the roof and confronted me. Hmm a couple look a little familiar... Did I kill their parents or something?

The red one seemed to get angry all of a sudden. What? Does my cloak offend you that much? You got one too princess.

Red: Where did you get that?! ANSWER ME!!!

Her friends seemed shocked by her outburst. They were staring at red who looked like she wanted my blood on her scythe. Guess the colors match.

White: R-Ruby what are you talking about?

HAHAHAHAHAHA! ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!? REALLY? AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! Guess that's Yang then. Anyone else want to show up? Maybe the drink bastard? God I avoided them for 6 years and now they showed up.

I couldn't handle it and burst out in laughter. My bad luck is honestly hilarious. I made it a point to avoid my ex family. I don't want vengeance I want to be left alone. Yet for all my planning the one time I'm actually caught its by them of all people.

Alucard: Oh man I haven't had a good laugh like that in ages!

Ruby: WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE DID YOU GET THAT!? I SAID TELL ME!!!!

Aww the girl thinks she's intimidating. That's cute. Oh well why not? Screw it. My ride will be here soon anyway. Might as well show them how their old prisoner is doing now. I took off my hood and face mask. Ruby and Yang looked confused at first and then paled. Ruby started to shake uncontrollably and dropped her overgrown letter opener while yang just froze like a deer in the headlights. So I did what any self respecting abused guy would do. I got my scroll out and took many pictures.

Ruby: N-no i-it c-c-can't be... Alucard... No little brother. W-why?

Alucard: Well for one I never was your brother Ruby in any sense. We don't have a drop of similar blood in us and you never treated me like one. No I was, how did you put it? Oh yeah a parasite.

Alucard: As for your other question its nothing personal. I was paid and he was killed. It's simple business. Nothing more. Oooh now I recognize your friends, hello Blake Belladonna. Adam has told me a lot about you. And Weiss fucking Schnee. Didn't think you would become a hunter. What? Is this penance for enslaving people to work in mines.

Yang: Listen I know we weren't the best family but -

Alucard: That is the biggest understatement of the century. Yang you didn't take my toys away for swearing, you CHAINED ME INTO THE FUCKING BASEMENT!!

Blake: WHAT!?

Ruby: Please Alucard theirs more to it than that.

Alucard: Yeah I know. Do you think I didn't try to rationalize why I was out through that. One break in to your cabin cleared that right up. Do you even know what those bastards that call me son were planning? Sealing my powers isn't as harmless as it sounds. At most it has a 70% chance of failure. And if it did I would be left in a emotionless stupor. It would erase the part of me that generates aura. Tell me hunters, what generates aura?

At first they were confused but, starting with Weiss, realization dawned among them. The seal most likely would erase my very soul.

Alucard: The best part was the fact they knew. For my "mother" it was easier. My human part would interfere and clash with the seal. If it was so easy they wouldn't need to go so far to convince me to take the risk. Well sorry, I dont want to be in a family that's willing to bet their youngest child's soul in the name of remnant. Fuck that! That's worse than death!!

*3rd pov*

Ruby's entire world shattered like glass. Was this true? Alucard reached into his backpack and threw a red book right in front of her.

Alucard: Not that I really care, but take it. The diary of one Summer Rose. Inside is proof that they knew every little thing I said and still wanted to go through with it.

Ruby, still shaking like a leaf recognized the book as indeed her mother's. It was true. Her family was going to sacrifice Alucard to Remnant. The proof was in her hands.

Blake: So what is this? Vengence?

Alucard: While I admit the thought crossed my mind, I went against it. The Branwens may have tried to break me, but I will survive. Thats my vengeance. Surviving in a world that didn't want me in the first place. If that means becoming a mercenary then so be it.

Overhead a bullhead appeared. Alucard boarded it but turned back one last time.

Alucard: I'll say this. Be careful on who you trust. Bonds can be more fragile than you think.

The team of hunters were too shocked about what transpired to do anything to stop Alucard from escaping. One way or another team RWBY will never be the same.

(A/n well I think I know why I dont see many other stealthy hero types on wattpad. its difficult to write a good stealth scene. Hopefully I did ok but I don't have much confidence in it. Thanks for reading and again any advice is welcome.)
