chapter 25
*Alucard pov*
Ever had to talk to a girl who would rather yeet you off a cliff than talk to you? How about explaining to her, that her father was a gigantic idiot and purposely turned himself into a monster and if both he and her were lucky, he died a rather painful death? No?
Let it be known, far and wide. Women. Don't. Fucking. Listen.
Oh they are smart, even smarter than most guys, but when their emotions get out of control, you'd have better luck convincing a boulder to fly. They just shut down, get angry, cry, and/or start to break shit and hurt people...
So of fucking course Yang, being the overachiever she is, did all of that at once.
Then Raven proved her superb maternal instincts and quite literally walked up to her raging daughter, got her attention by placing her hand on her shoulder, then when she turned around, Raven punched her daughter in the jaw hard enough to knock her unconscious. Then she grabbed one of her ankles and drug her away...
Ruby ironically was a lot more mature than her sister. She wasn't at all shocked her father tried to murder me, according to her he solves most of his problems with violence. She had an... Interesting reaction to me telling her taiyang's fate...
The innocent socially awkward cookie addict swore to kill ironwood. Or rather "cut off his goddamn head and stick it on a pike"...
I'm not sure whether to be proud or disturbed. I'm a bad influence. Or was that Neo's fault?
Summer just laughed out loud. Like full on grabbed her stomach and rolled around kind of laugh. She only wished I got her ex's suffering on camera to either laugh at some more of get herself off later. Could have gone either way from the look she was giving me...
...You know, I'm glad I was raised in the basement now. What the actual fuck is wrong with this goddamn family?! This is starting to make me, an assassin literally turning into a monster, and Neo, a mercenary closet sadomasochist (I'm almost positive) with a ice cream addiction, look well adjusted.
Whatever, on to more pressing matters.
Teaching Skippy the Grimm guy how to do tricks!
From what I can tell, this shadow man, who yes I am still gonna call skippy, has Taiyang Xiaolongs memories... Including fighting style, and how to use his semblance. However, he also has no emotions, ego, hesitation, arrogance, general survival instincts...
What the fuck does Skippy care if he takes a bullet to the brain? Just let ole Alucard spend a bit of energy and he's right back to fighting shape!
I seem to be able to directly control him if I need to, but he can also act autonomously under orders like "let summer kick you in the crotch" or "go headbutt that rock until it breaks".
Yeah... You know, I think this settles my grudge against Taiyang. I'm gonna enjoy my new toy... Rest in piece dude thanks for letting me use a copy of you as a bullet sponge and target dummy.
On to more important things. My hit list.
Jacques
Adam
Ozpin
Ironwood
Yeah not Cinder, or this Salem bitch. Though I'm keeping my options open if they had something to do with Adam betraying me. Otherwise if they leave me the fuck alone, I won't kick them so hard they'll cough up there ovaries.
Not sure who to go after first. Honestly if I could find the guy, Adam seems like a good first bet. That requires Cinder to tell me where he is. I mean sure I could get a boat, go to Menagerie, walk into the nearest white fang base, and assert my human dominance until he shows up, but Blake and Ilia won't let me...
Ozpin would be the simplest, just walk into Beacon, walk up to him and drown him in decaf. Just gotta sneak around several dozen trained hunters, and hundreds of students.
Jacques is the most complicated. I did a bit more research and we can add paranoid to his list of traits. Paranoia hidden by cruelty. Example, after one of his dust depots gets raided with minimal survivors, he executes the rest. Even the non combatants.
Though considering that the number of people who legitimately want him dead are greater than the population of Atlas, it's hard to criticize his fear.
And hey the more people he pisses off the greater the bounty.
Ironwood is in concept easy but in execution difficult. He, for all of his faults, isn't an armchair General. If I set the bait he won't send some random grunt, he will come himself...
He will just being a regiment of elite soldiers with him.
And enough firepower to level a country...
Oh and the simple fact that he's a spiteful son of a bitch. The other 3 would just kill you, maybe fast probably slowly. Ironwood? No the great General of Atlas won't let you go that easily. Look at Taiyang. If you have any use he will break you to pieces in anyway he can to make that power his or under his control.
But enough about that back to Skippy because... He just kicked Raven's ass...
What?
She was sparing with the thing. Wanting to beat up the look alike I guess. She told it to fight for real. It then froze and turned to me. I just disinterestedly nodded. It turned back, threw off his weapons, and cracked his knuckles. Then it got into what looked like a loose brawler stance.
As I was going through some logistics papers Raven's sword violently sailed passed my head barely missing me.
Skippy countered by roundhouse kicking the katana out of her hands mid swing.
The fuck?
From there it was completely one sided. Every punch was countered brutally. Every time she tried to create distance he quickly dashed into her to deliver a combo. Where the fuck was this?! If Taiyang fought like this I would be dead! Skippy is his carbon copy! Taiyang can and knows how to do this!!!
Summer: STOP HIM ALUCARD!
Alucard: enough!!
Skippy was just stopped dead grasping her head about to finish off Raven fucking Branwen with a punch that would decapitate her.
Summer: WHAT THE FUCK! TAIYANG PROMISED TO NEVER USE THAT! NOT AFTER HE REFUSED TO TEACH HIM ANYMORE!!!
Alucard: The fuck are you talking about?!
Summer grasped my shoulders and shook me.
Summer: His mentor! His idol! The Dragon of Mistral! This shadow fights like Kiryu!!!
