Hello everyone and a warm welcome to all of you. It's really exciting to see a new profile pop for a wonderful community. As you that title have suggested you, my name is Dhawal Joshi and I go by the username  joshidhawal on wattpad. I love to read a lot and I am one of your geeky nerds. I co-manage the official Wattpad India profile (indiacentral). I love to talk to people and make new friends, so don't feel awkward to hit me up anytime. Apart from that I've published my first book, so combining my experiences I have penned down some writing tips for you which will help you to get better with your skills. Writing tips

💠Decide what way are you gonna complete the story, are you gonna be a pantster or a plotter.

💠If you decide to be a plotter than, plot everything in detail, each character how they are gonna be, what point story will turn etc. Do not miss any details and form proper guidelines around which your story is revolving before you right it down

💠Jot down the major points and event sequences and then while writing if you miss something or have a block at that time you can refer to those points and continue writing down your story.

💠If you are a pantster then, even if you are gonna write it down as you feel and you wanna see where and how the story leads you. You need to jot down certain set of things before you head out for writing.

💠You need to plan your characters very well. Don't leave anything in midst and that's because a proper character idea will help you to drive your story ahead.

💠Think how each character will react in each situation, do a couple of situations and then choose the best one of them.

💠While writing kindly avoid the common writing errands like grammar issue, usage of tenses and articles and other common stuff.

💠Don't overfill the chapters with the words. Remember your writing should be lengthy enough to convey the scene and the emotions revolving around but not too lengthy to just annoy the reader.

💠Don't over describe the scenes. Descriptions are like salt in writing, as salt is required in perfect amount, not too much and not too less. In the very same manner descriptions can be super annoying if you're overdoing it and super confusing if you are not writing them or writing completely bad at all.

💠Keep the word length in mind while writing, don't write too much that while editing you feel like or end up deleting whole paragraphs or in cases even whole scenes.

💠Keep the story driven in such a way that there are not so many cliffhangers at the same time the story isn't too bland and predictive. Give it out some twists bring out your creativity in it.

💠Always keep in mind, you don't need any special software to write. Writing comes from within and no software can help you out there.

💠Avoid running after plugins and other stuff instead of writing. Avoid overuse of social media. Use social media as a sense of reward or option to gain feedback and guidance while you write.

💠Treat yourself while working, writing for long periods can be stressful and you need to reward yourself with little things if you have to work for long and have deadlines really closeby.

💠Last but not the least, always believe in yourself. You don't need any special area or any special tools to write better. Just dive into your thoughts and start pouring them out as text.
