My name's Ira Hadeera but you can call me Ira, for short. I started as a writer here a few years ago, in 2013 if I'm not mistaken. The moment I stepped into this orange little world means a lot for a mind that simply had an idea to be started with. Wattpad, at that time only had a few Malay stories but we should pat our own shoulders - things just get even better over here. I could see Malay novels everywhere with a single click (hyperbolic, I know).

A simple reminder for every writer. We are what we write. Write good things, good sentences and ain't possible for you to be getting good ones, too. You don't have to force yourself in expressing every single word to be noticed, adequate enough just to write from your heart and what you'd like to read if you ain't someone who type behind the screen.

Reach for those hearts. If you couldn't, reach for some of them. If it's hard...

TEASER – Kerikil Pada Kabus Ancala

Dua minit CPR. Hampir tiada selingan.

"He ain't breathing, Jat," kata lelaki itu dengan peluh yang mulai memercik di seluruh wajah. Hampir kebanyakan daripada kudratnya dihabiskan untuk meneruskan chest compression. Ferhad hampir sahaja meneruskan CPR untuk dua minit seterusnya sebelum...

"Doc, AED is now available!" Widad datang dengan berita gembira.

Ferhad pandang Izzat.

Dua pasang mata berbalas pandang.

Terhela nafas lega sesaat namun tidak lama kerana setiap detik itu terlalu berharga untuk dibazirkan. "Get me a towel. My hands are freaking covered with sweats while doing the CPR."

"Why... I thought you'd never ask," mencelah suara Izzat seraya menggunakan tuala putih yang dihulurkan jururawat di sebelahnya, mengelap bahagian dada pesakit lelaki yang sedikit basah. "He doesn't wear any pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillator... and no body piercings..." Dongak. "Aku pasangkan pad. Kau check sama ada pad tu connect atau tak dekat badan dia."

"Noted," jawab Ferhad perlahan. Masih berbaki lelah dengan tindakan CPR tadi. "Stand clear, everyone."

Butang analyze ditekan. Itu pun selepas Izzat selesai dengan tugasnya – satu pad di bahagian kanan pusat dada. Sebelah lagi pad dilekatkan di sebelah rusuk kiri.

"Dang, AED tak bagi buat shock," menggumam perlahan bibir Ferhad. Tangannya masih menggeletar. Untuk kekalkan momentum yang sama bagi lima pusingan CPR bersamaan dua minit itulah... "No signs of breathing, huh, Izzat?" tanyanya meminta kepastian.

"Non," Izzat menjawab perlahan, masih memandang wajah yang berpeluh itu.

"Sweet."

"You ain't smiling, like always."

"I'm at the verge of losing a life, why should I?" Serius intonasi itu namun masih tenang mengawal keadaan. Bersiap sedia untuk menjalankan CPR buat kali kedua. Ferhad menarik nafas sejenak lantas menghembuskannya sedikit kasar. "I can't do this alone, pak cik. I can't do this without you. Please... wake up."

Chest compression dijalankan.

"Wake up."

Dua minit penuh.

"Wake up, please... fight."
