"What does Chanelle like?" I asked Drey.

"Ermm...she loves to watch scary movies. But she is pretty scared of them." she answered.

"Really?" I see.

I drove in silence till we got to her apartment. We rang the bell and she opened the door looking sexy as ever.

"Happy Birthday!" Audrey screamed and handed Chanelle's presents over to her. After checking out what was in the gift bag given to her, her eyes met mine and I smiled at her.

"Happy Birthday love," I said, pulled her closer to me ,and then crashed my lips on hers.

"Enough lovebirds!" Audrey interfered making Chanelle pull away from me looking shy as always. "Have you forgiven me?" I asked Chanelle and she nodded.

"May I steal another kiss?" I whispered to her and noticed that she tensed up suddenly when she heard me. A blush crept up from her neck and unto her cheeks, it really made her look so adorable.

"Never!" She childishly said. "You are not my boyfriend," she continued.

"Ouch! that really hurts" I feigned.

I grabbed her by the waist, and pecked her nose. "I will soon be. Trust me." I whispered into her ears and finally winked at her.

"Can we go now?" Audrey asked heading for the door.

"Let me go," Chanelle said after I forcefully grabbed her hand.

"Not now baby girl." I said stubbornly.

As soon as Audrey left, I had another chance and kissed her again. I was addicted to her lips. I just couldn't have much of them. The kiss didn't last for long because she escaped from me. I, however, pulled her back and pinned her to the wall. "Stop it!" she said but that only made me move closer to her making her quite uneasy.

I buried my nose in the crook of her neck and sniffed in her scent. Oh god! I just could never have enough of this. I wanted to stay with her and cuddle all day but as Drey had warned, I had to keep calm. Becoming aware of my surroundings, I noticed that Chanelle's eyes were shut and she was breathing faster than supposed to. She was having a panic attack.

"Hey! I'm not going to hurt you." I said.

But her eyes were still closed.

"Calm down love," I said whilst rubbing her on her shoulder. Few minutes after whispering some calm words to her, she finally came back to breathing normal.

"Please open your eyes," I said calmly and she did. I was now at ease. I couldn't say I wasn't in the least chance scared when her heart was racing.

"I'm sorry okay it's just that...." she started but I placed my index finger on her lips to silence her. I rubbed my thumb on her cheeks, and looked directly into her eyes.

"Don't do that again," she pleaded.

"Your wish is my command, mi lady" I answered smiling at her.

After we sat in the car, I took a teddy bear from behind and gave it to her. Drey had already left, I guessed because she was not out when we got to the car. After Chanelle inspected the bear, with me not knowing what she was checking out in particular, I could tell from her facial expression that she wanted to scream and jump with all her might but she couldn't. Instead, she said, "Its lovely." Typical of girls.

She hugged me for a while and then withdrew herself.

"Ermm...Chanelle" I murmured.

"Yeah!" She replied still looking into the streets.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" I said plainly and she looked at me shyly.

"No! but I do have male friends," she shrugged.

"But...Will you say 'yes' if I asked you to be my girl?" I asked again.

"No way," she half screamed causing me to laugh so hard.

"Why not?" I said smiling at her.

"Because, guys are just too much to deal with. They will only get you attached, break your heart and dump you in the end."

Oh Lord! Anyone could testify that Chanelle was really funny. I didn't get to ask her any more questions as we had arrived at her school. She opened the door, ready to step out but I pulled her back and looked into her eyes. 'Why was this girl so irresistible?' I thought to myself.

It was when she asked, what the problem that I became aware of the fact that I had nothing really to say. I only didn't want to let her go.

"I'll come for you later after school. Take care of yourself," I said and then let go off her hand.

Elton

We had our last soccer match today and as usual I had to play. What annoyed me was the fact that Edwin was also playing. Soon enough, we were asked to move to the field. I got there with other team players only to raise my head and find Edwin pecking Drey on her cheeks.

That jerk!

I closed my eyes for a little while engulfing my anger when soon enough, the whistle blew for the start of the game. We continued to play for some seconds. Soon enough, the ball was in my possession. I caught a glimpse of Edwin coming near me so I hurried to the goal post. This was the only hope my team had because we had the same points with Edwin's group.

Surprisingly, I managed to use my right foot to kick the ball in the direction of the goal post but unfortunately for me, Edwin kicked my left foot causing my ankle to break.

I was so hurt that I yelped in pain. The referee blew the whistle indicating a foul play but it was of no use since the game was already ended. I was taken to the dispensary on a stretcher whilst I continued screaming in pain.my leg hurt really bad to the extent that I couldn't swallow my cries like most guys would do. Rosa, the schools nurse, treated me carefully but that didn't take the pain away. it only made it lesser.

I expected Drey to come by to see me at least if not for myself, for the little we had shared in the past but it didn'thappen that way. She honestly did not care about me anymore but rather didfor that jerk.
Stanley, my best friend, and a few others from the team came by to see me.Chanelle also came to see me to my surprise. She was the least I expected tosee. "But why did she come?" I wondered.
