When some authors demand a certain number of votes before they update a fricking chapter...

Example: (In a book)

Hello guys! I hope everybody is enjoying the story!! I made it in like in 12 hours.

I get so stressing you know due to  exams.

3 million votes and 5 million reads before I update the next chapter! Love y'all mwah mwah

Okay, this  one. I see a lot of  people doing  this, and when I  mean a lot, SUPER  SUPER  LOTS. I mean, what would  happen if everyone  did  the  opppsite of you said and no one  actually voted? Obviously, utter  humiliation. You can't just demand that out of the blue and  expect it to be done!

What if I don't have friends? Me personally, I just consider  two to be my actual  friends. So when I ask about homework or something, I get really really panicky because what if  they don't know what the assignment is?
