This is my second attempt at a novella and exists mainly because I wanted to write something before NaNo. It's inspired by several things: a detour while driving that took me along a scenic route; a nightmare (caused by watching Halloween late at night); and a Tumblr post about an orchestra being forced to quarantine in a castle.

Warning: this is a horror story. It includes gore, gruesome deaths, and general creepiness. None of the chapters will have specific trigger warnings. Consider this a blanket warning for the whole story.
