Grace and Guardian have been friends for some time now. The squad was stable. Madi threatened to stab someone as usual, Eli watched YouTube, Ethyn made a joke ("Armin, you've been useful to me"), Andon sounded like a nine-year-old girl trying to be edgy, Ben raged about things, and allLllllll the other people did somethin'. Oh, and there's Ashton, who is the perfect angel that literally everyone at the table wants to kill. 

The day was entirely normal. Guardian left Sixth Hour as usual, to meet Grace and Madi at the door of the Science Class. Grace came out the door, shaking. Guardian acted confused. The truth was that she was, but like everything she did- it looked fake. 

Madi spoke softly. "Do you want me to tell her?" Grace replied, "No." Madi left for the front of the school, walking out the doors. Grace waited until almost nobody was left in the hallway, and then spoke. 

"Hey.... Do you want to.... go out sometime?" She knew that she liked girls a while before this, but she'd had a crush on a girl from high school. How she could pick her out of all people? Maybe it was because Guardian said she didn't know what she identified as, or that her so-called "boyfriend" got bored. She agreed, and from that point on, they kept their relationship a secret except from their friends, which said they were the new OTP.
