Crystal's P.O.V

I feel something prodding on my stomach.

"Sassy! I was sleeping!" I groan.

"Sorry, but Sabrina told me to wake you up so you can help make desert for tonight." Sassy purrs.

"But I don't want to get u-"

"Then I'll get you up." Someone says. I look over at the door and see, Dad?

"Dad!" I yell. I run up to him and hug him tightly.

"Hey sweetie." He says and hugs me back.

"Where's Mom?"

"She had some business to take care of, but she will be here for Christmas." He says.

"Sweet!" That's when I notice that my ankle is basically throbbing.

"What happened to your ankle?" Dad asks.

"Tristan." I mutter.

"How did he find you guys?" He asks.

"I don't know. but somehow Robert, one of his former allies, kidnapped our friend Dan, and when we tried to save him, he trapped us and chains wrapped around Crystal's ankle a little too tight, and it broke, but she can never sit still and let it heal." Ty explains.

"Ok, last time was Abby's fault. Not mine." I huff.

"Wait, Abby's alive?" Dad asks. I nod.

"Yep." I sigh. The front door suddenly opens and Mitch and Jerome walk in.

"We gotz turkey!" Jerome yells.

"Hey Conner!" Mitch says.

"Hey Mitch, Jerome." Dad says.

"Where's Angel?" Jerome asks.

"Business trip." Dad explains.

"Well, I'm gonna go let you get dressed and I'll help you guys with the food." He adds.

Yay! First chapter of the 5th book! Why does it fell like I started writing the 4th book yesterday? Maybe it's because it only took about a week to publish it... Hmm.
