Zoroark in Mareep's Clothing
" Do you know who this hit is even on? You're the definition of nuts Kimiko."
The girl gave a roll of her eyes and swung her legs, the swing coming to stop once she pressed her boots to the dry and dull mulch. A rare smile played at her lips, before it faded away as her supervisor began to lecture her once again.
" Listen, just because you're called a Zoroark doesn't exactly mean you are one. You're more like a weak, and annoying Purrloin that pops up every two seconds in the wild! Let someone else take this job," the man hissed into her earpiece, causing her face to harden.
" I know what I'm doing. I'm not a ten year old moron anymore. I grew up, and now I'm seventeen. Leave it," she snapped back quickly.
" Seviper."
Kimiko let out an airy breath, as she thought of an insult before something caught her attention. The girl made sure her mask was covering her face before she began to move underneath the cover of a Kalosian night.
" Adrien Audibert, next in line for the Fleurhh City Theater. Height is five-nine, and he weighs in at one-hundred-thirty-two pounds," Kimiko sighed as she turned the ear pieces volume down," pretty boy...brown hair and hazel eyes. Rich kid."
" That's...correct."
" Hmm, wonderful," she stood up and brushed herself up," he also knows the location of the Heart Diamond. He's sadly an easy target."
" Do you ever stop speaking, Zoroark?"
" I will now," she turned the earpiece off and pulled the dark hood up over head. The assassin straightened herself up, double-checking if the small machine was off. It would be embarrassing if Z had began taking to her during the hit.
Adrien Audibert, that name seems too obnoxious. The assassin stuffed her darker hair into her hood, making sure the mask was on. Her mask was fake, but seemed very real due to her Zoroark's illusion. But, everyone wore a mask. All of them were bad. There was nothing redeeming about any humans that wasn't Z.
Z was man in about his late forties. Very tall, strong build with a handsome face. Crystal blue eyes and messily dyed red hair. All except for the messed up hair, he was anyone's dreamboat. But making assumptions would lead to something else, the truth.
Kimiko's entire life had been a fight between two things, truth and lies. Was Z ever telling her the truth of her jobs? Was being an assassin really an honor? None of it mattered, she was all ready to preform the hit so she could get paid.
Her weapon of choice was stashed away in her sweatshirts pocket, and she began to realize she was halfway to her destination. The dark haired assassin moved silently in the cover of night. Everyone thought that wearing black at night was smart. In reality, they couldn't be anymore stupid. Dark blue was the color that would blend in with the night sky the most.
She huffed when her thoughts were torn away from her, almost immediately when bumped into someone she knew.
" Glaceon," she hissed to the male, who gave a quick smile underneath his mask.
" It was a success," 'Glaceon' replied calmly as he began to walk away," let us hope yours is the same way."
You aren't the only one who wants that to happen.
Kimiko glared over her shoulder, sighing as she picked up her pace. Though, she was caught off guard by a Ponyta's whinny.
Son of a Stoutland! She cursed, rolling her eyes as she began to move a bit faster. Finally, the house of her target was in sight. Letting out a sigh of relief, Kimiko's pace picked up into a jog.
The house wouldn't be too hard to scale, especially with the help of her partner. Pulling out a pristine white Premier Ball, she pressed down on the center button and released a misty, red beam.
" Zor," her partner hissed once they met face to face. The assassin glanced around, sighing.
" Cast your illusion. I'll be back in a matter of minutes," she muttered, passing by Zoroark without another word escaping past her thin line of lips.
Clothed in the colors of night, she made her way up to the side of the house. Pulling out a small device that looked like a tracker, she clicked a small button and placed the back on her glove. Then, she repeated with a second device.
Equipped with her gear, she placed her hands on the freshly painted house, pulling herself up. Silence remained as she pulled herself up a balcony, throwing herself to stand on the railing.
Rich brat, Kimiko mused, making sure the ear piece was off. She noticed her target sitting on his bed nearby, face buried in a blue covered novel. The assassin didn't say much as she reached for a weapon, not noticing her target moving towards the balconies doors.
Not even a split second later she received a steel toed boot to her right cheek. The teenager groaned, touching the spot where she had been kicked with two of her fingers. Eyes narrowed, and new adrenaline beginning to rise, it was about time she got the hit done and over with.
The male tried grabbing at her hand with the weapon, but ultimately was hit in the back of the head with the butt of the gun. He groaned when he landed face first into the balcony. Not even a split second Kimiko quickly placed her boots bottom on his back, pressing down on his spine. She put her weapon away and stared down at him.
" Pathetic," she hissed almost venomously, watching as his face contorted in pain. His eyes were scrunched shut and his teeth were hurrying against each other.
" You..." he mumbled, wincing when his assassins heel pressed deeper into his back," are a Zoroark in Mareep's clothing!"
" Enough."
A loud crack was heard after Adrien Audibert's last sentence. An insult to his killer. Kimiko winced when she moved her door away.
" Shame," she paused," he was pretty cute too."
The assassin breathed in sharply and swung herself over the balconies ledge, landing safely on the grassy terrain. Without even a moments hesitation she began to run over to her precious partner, signaling for the illusion to be dropped. With that, the two were running back to safety.
A Zoroark in Mareep's clothing. I know what I am, Kimiko sighed, a smile creeping up onto her lips. Her brighter eyes stared in the darkness of night.
I'm proud of that title, thank you Adrien Audibert for the new name.
