Chapter 2

Chapter 2- A Step Towards A New Beginning

"A little bit more to the left, you have to cover all of your hair roots," You explained as Kirishima was dyeing his hair with red.
"There! Now to wash!" Kirishima scrubbed his silky hair, the red water going down the drain.

"You look excellent, now use your quirk to hold it up," You instructed him, which he followed. He looked different now, with his spiky red hair making him more confident.
"Your self-esteem is getting better, and your training is on point. Now onto the main event, waiting for the the first day of your new hero school," You explained as Kirishima poked his spiky hair.
"Alright!!" He smiled brightly, making you chuckle.

'This kid, he's better than anyone I've ever taught, he's just like...' You shook that thought away and smiled at him.
"Let's get to school Eijiro, don't want to be late," You said. He nodded, grabbed his bag, and ran outside saying goodbye to his mom.
"So what are we going to do now (Y/N)? Train? Study? Eat manly food?" He asked you in his mind.

"Since I checked your strength and mentality, I advise you to keep training in order for your body to be in shape," You explained looking through some screens you formed.
"Alright!" Kirishima grinned a toothy grin. You looked at him, and a small smile crept on your face.
"(Y/N), is that a smile I see?" He asked teasingly. You snapped him and looked away a little embarrassed.

"I am not one you need to worry about," He frowned for a moment, before grinning and raised an eyebrow.
"What if you are?" You paused and said nothing. Then, a yell made you both stop and turn.
"What!! Kirishima?!" It was Mina Ashido, one of the people Kirishima was inspired by.

"What's with the hair?" She asked.
"Trying to look good for high school? You've got horns like me!" Mina said.
'Uhhh, what do I say?' Kirishima asked you. You quickly analyzed the situation and snapped your fingers.
"Repeat what I say," He nodded as you set up a dialogue.

"Yeah? So what if I do? I'm tired feeling guilty. I'm going to protect people like a real hero," He repeated to her. It was fairly simple to know what he'll say, because even though it sounds harsh, he acts extremely pathetic towards himself. That is something you need to fix of him, that's your job.

"I'm not the pathetic loser I was in middle school, that was in the past," Mina looked at him and thought for a moment.
"What happened that day, with the villain? It was tough on you more than it was on us," She pointed out.
"She's a smart girl Eijiro, don't deny it," You told him with a grin.

"What's it to you?" He asked looking away from him. She started to hit him on the arm hard.
"Don't be too eager to change who you are! Got it?" She said with a smile.
"Hey it hurts! I wanted to change fast! That's why I took-" You quickly made him shut his mouth, not wanting to make him say the truth about you.

"If you're gonna stop getting over yourself let me know okay? I'm being nice! But some day I'm going to let everyone know about your little makeover!" Mina said with a mischievous laugh. You bluntly stared at her, but then a small smile came on your face again.

"Thank you,"

"Class 1-A, you excited?" Mina asked Kirishima.
"Yeah! Now let's see who's in the class!" Kirishima said with a smile and opened the doors. You took note that some of the students in the class had unique appearances and some were absent.
"Sit down at the assigned seat behind the kid with the black lighting bolt," You told him, pointing at a boy with yellow hair.

'Okay,' He said and sat down behind him, in which he turned.
"Hey! My name is Denki Kaminari, you look cool with your hair," The kid smiled. You felt Kirishima's serotonin go up at the compliment.
"Reply back with a thanks and your name," You told him.
"Thanks! Name's Eijiro Kirishima, I think your bolt is manly!" He smiled.

The two kept talking as you sighed at your work.
'The kid's got some spunk with him. Besides the self doubt, I don't know why he took a SQUIP.' you thought to yourself. Out of Kirishima's eye he saw you deflate a little and look around, digital screen in front of you.

He wanted to thank you, for making him go this far into UA. He feels like it was you that made him get into the top class, so he wants to repay.
"You don't need to repay me Eijiro, being here is repayment enough," You said not looking at him. Oh shoot, he forgot that you know what he's thinking about.

You smirked at his embarrassment, but then the door opened and a nervous, bushy haired boy walked in.
"That kid, though he was in seventh he had not villain points and yet made it to this class," You muttered.
'Really? He must've save so many people then. So manly!' Kirishima said with a smile.

You hummed in agreement as you looked through some information to this school.
"It took 8 second for you all to shut up, that won't do in this class," A deep and gruff voice interrupted your search. You stopped and looked over at the door to see a disheveled man with long black hair and a big scarf around his neck.

"Well, technically it was 7.58 seconds for the class to quiet down, but who's counting?," You said, making Kirishima snort a little.
"Hello, I'm Shouta Aizawa, your teacher," He said tiredly.
"Of course, Pro hero Eraserhead, an underground hero to be exact," You explained, taking notes of him.

"Alright, up this on and go outside," Aizawa bluntly said holding a uniform.
'Wasn't there supposed to be an orientation first (Y/N)?' Kirishima asked you.
"Eh, it'll be boring anyways considering the script they emailed to the Principal," You shrugged.

"Whoever wrote this, seriously can't spell, definitely human,"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Turns out Kirishima's home room teacher won't teach like the others, because he believes it's what fits his style. You understood that original teaching is overrated, and what fits his training will help and push these students further to their path.
"Physical fitness tests didn't allow you to use your quirks. The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their quirks. That's not rational," You nodded in agreement as so far, the system involving quirks don't allow powerful quirks to rise.
"Bakugo, you finished at the top of the practical exams, correct?" Aizawa said turning to a ashy haired boy. You pulled out a screen from math and scrolled through, making Kirishima tilt his head.
"Katsuki Bakugou, quirk is Explosion. Able to produce glycerin like sweat from his palms and create sparks, causing a large explosion to form. He is as powerful as he is short tempered. A dangerous yet interesting combination," You explained as you watched closely at the boy who walked to the white circle.
He held a ball in his hands and got into position to throw it. Then his bored expression turned into a smirk as he used his quirk to make a explosion and shot the ball into the air.
"DDDDIIIIIIEEEEEE!!" He screamed, the wind blowing into Kirishima's face
'That... is so cool!!' The red haired boy said with admiration.
"Your heart is is beating due to the loud sound and shaking of the ground, take a deep breath and admire him a different time," You bluntly said, making Kirishima blush in embarrassment.
His score was 705.2 meters, high for a kid. The students started to cheer as they believe to think that it'll be fun, then Aizawa gave a creepy smile and explained it won't be fun, for the one that falls into last place will have been expelled immediately.
"A lie. His heart rate is slightly higher then usual, a common trait for people who lie. A simple white lie to encourage his students to go far... such an interesting man," You mumbled, staring intently at the hero.
'A lie? Okay then, but what if I'm still not good enough to be in the top 10? All that work will go for nothing! I don't want to fail (Y/N)! What if I do?!' Kirishima frantically rambled, his heart beating a little faster and he started to shake a little.
"Ejiro, I advice you to calm down, no matter what, I'll guide you, that's why I'm here! To make your life be better, and so far, am I doing a great job?" You asked him staring into his eyes with a stern expression.
'Yeah...' He nodded slowly, making you nod with him.
"So don't you worry my dear host. You're not going to fail either way, you know why?" The boy looked at you with a slightly confused smile as you placed a hand on his shoulder, staring at him with a smirk growing on your face.
"Because you have a SQUIP,"
