After their encounter with Lord Thanquol, Gotrek and Felix wake up a snow covered field. Felix looks around to find no traces of Lord Thanquol or any Skaven. After a moment, Gotrek gets up.

Gotrek: Still alive, Manling?

Felix: As far as I know. 

Felix looks around to see that he and Gotrek were within some kind of mountain.

Gotrek: It seems that Grey Seer sent us up north. Perhaps we'll find a Chaos Warband to greet us.

As Felix says this, roaring was heard in the distance. Immediately, Gotrek and Felix immediately readied their weapons. While Felix kept himself composed, Gotrek was practically itching for a fight. Moments later, a Slitherbeast attacks Gotrek and Felix. 

Felix: What the hell is that thing?! 

Gotrek: Perhaps it be a Chaos Spawn. Or a new form of beast. Either way, it dies by my axe!

Gotrek lets out a loud war cry and charges at the Slitherbeast. As Gotrek swings his Axe at the Slitherbeast, Felix attempts to flank around the Slitherbeast and attack it from behind. But as he was about to land a strike, the Slitherbeast smacks Felix away with it's tail. As Felix was knocked back, Gotrek continues attacking the Slitherbeast. 

Gotrek: Is that the best you got?! Ha! I've seen small Goblins with more bite than you! 

The Slitherbeast roars as Gotrek swings his Axe at the Slitherbeast. The Slitherbeast manages to grab Gotrek with it's claws. But as the Slitherbeast was about to drag Gotrek away, Felix steps in and slashes at one of the hind legs of the Slitherbeast. The Sltherbeast howls in pain as Gotrek headbutts the Slitherbeast, forcing it to let go of the Dwarf Slayer. Despite being wounded, the Slitherbeast lashes out at both Gotrek and Felix. As Gotrek presses the attack on the Slitherbeast, Felix manages to climb up the Slitherbeast's back. 

Gotrek: Fancying yourself a rider, Manling?!

Felix: Not at all! Just needed to get close enough to do this!

Felix then plunges his sword into one of the eyes of the Slitherbeast. The Slitherbeast howls in pain as it knocks Felix off. Gotrek seizes the opportunity to charge at the Slitherbeast. When the beast attempts to swipe at Gotrek, the Dwarf severs the claw. As the Slitherbeast howls in pain, Gotrek slams his Axe into the Slitherbeast's head. The Slitherbeast lashes out in all directions as Felix steps in and runs his sword into the Slitherbeast's side. Gotrek then yanks his Axe out of the Slitherbeast's head and embeds it into the Slitherbeast's skull. The Slitherbeast lets out one more roar as it dies. Once the Slitherbeast was killed, Felix takes a moment to catch his breath as Gotrek yanks his Axe out of the Slitherbeast's skull. 

Gotrek: Not a bad showing, Manling. If I knew any better, I'd say you're picking up a few things from me. 

Felix: After many adventures with you, I'd be more concerned if I didn't. 

As Felix says that, he looks down upon the lifeless corpse of the Slitherbeast. 

Felix: What manner of creature is this? I've never seen of any creatures like that. 

Gotrek: Whatever it is, it's dead now. And I still thirst for a good fight. 

Fellix then glances over to the horizon to get a good idea of where they were at. It didn't take long before Felix to spot a town in the distance. The city in the distance was a dense, medieval-style town surrounded by bone mountains and forests, with two large green arms looming over it.

Felix: It looks like there's a town below this mountain. Maybe we should head there. 

Gotrek: Aye. Perhaps we'll run into a Chaos Warband on the way down. 

With that, Gotrek and Felix began making their way down the mountain. 

With that, Gotrek and Felix began making their way down the mountain. After a day's journey, Gotrek and Felix eventually made their way to the town. As they entered the town, Gotrek and Felix discovered that the denizens of this town weren't Human. They were not even Elves or Dwarves. It didn't take long before the people of this town began to stare at the two adventurers.

Felix: Something's not quite right....

A vendor stand labeled "Human Collectables" catches her attention. The vender was run by what appeared to be a middle aged woman.

???: Right. Let's sort the buyers from the spyers, the needy from the greedy, and those who trust me from the ones who don't, because if you can't see value here today, you're not up here shopping. Gotrek and Felix approached the stand. Eda glances at the two with an interested look. 

Eda: You're not from around here, are you?

Felix: You could say that. We need information.

Eda: Information, eh? All right, I'll bite.

Felix: Where exactly are we? 

Eda: Where are we? We're in Bonesborough.

Felix: Bonesborough? I've never heard of it. Is it part of the Empire?

As Felix questioned Eda, Eda could see guards from the Emperor's Coven moving to investigate.

Eda: Looks like your arrival didn't go unnoticed.

Gotrek glanced to the guards approaching her. Gotrek and Felix turned to face the guards as they surrounded them.

Coven Guard: Halt in the name of Emperor Belos!

As the Coven Guards surrounded Gotrek and Felix, the two looked at each other. When they turned to face the Coven Guards, a smile fell on Gotrek's face as he readied his Axe while Felix readied his sword. In that moment, Gotrek and Felix would make their impression on the Boiling Isles.
