I smiled as I handed my jacket to Victor and walked up to Oswald.

"You look beautiful." He whispered as we walked into the ballroom.

"You don't look so bad yourself." I said kissing his cheek.

We made it to the dance floor and he wrapped a arm around my waist and grabbed my hand with the other. I smiled as we started to dance to the music. I laid my head on his shoulder as we danced in a circle.

"So I'm married to the mayor." I said with a smile.

"First the king and now a mayor. You must be the most luckiest woman alive." He said with a smile.

"Those things don't make me the luckiest woman. Being married to Oswald Cobblepot, now that makes me the luckiest woman alive." I said pecking his lips.

"I love you." He said softly.

"I know." I said with a wink.

He let out a laugh as we stopped dancing and he led me to our table. I smiled as he pulled my chair out and I set beside of him.

"So, what is our plan?" I asked as he held my hand.

"Simple. We make this city ours." He said kissing my hand.

"I like the sound of that." I said happily.

I watched as Victor came over and whispered something in Oswald's ear.

"I have to go. I'll be back shortly." He said kissing my cheek.

I smiled as he left the table and walked out of the house. I heard a gun go off and I turned to see a man walk in.

"What do you want?" Ed asked glaring at him.

"The Penguin. Where is he?" The man asked.

"Gone. He left to take care of something." I said standing up.

"Mrs. Cobblepot. A pleasure to finally get to meet. My name is Jerome Valeska." He said with a smile.

"I know who you are. Your the guy who came back from the dead. Oswald told me about you." I said softly.

"Well that's good because now you know who kills you." He said aiming his gun at me and firing.

I hit the ground and Jerome laughed as he ran out of the house. Ed ran to my side and yelled for someone to call a ambulance.

"Your going to be alright." He said putting pressure on the wound.

"Tell Oswald.... I love him." I said as I closed my eyes.

Oswald rushed to the hospital, when he got there it took him two hours before (y/n) got out of surgery. When he was finally aloud into her room he felt tears stream down his face as he saw the machines attached to her.

"I'll make him pay. Jerome Valeska will wish he had stayed dead." He said grabbing her hand.

He kissed her forehead and let out a sigh as he set beside her. Two weeks later Oswald was put in jail and Lee Thompkins was given all rights to (y/n)'s life.

I open my eyes to see that I was on a hospital bed and I had a machine hooked up to me. I tried to sit up but wasn't able to. I pressed the button to call a nurse and they rushed into the room.

"Doctor! She's awake!" The nurse yelled as she rushed to my side.

After getting checked out I was able to get all the machines off of me. I smiled as Lee walked into the room and told me everything that had happen.

"So when is Oswald coming?" I asked softly.

"Um.... well you see he's in Arkham." She said softly.

I felt my heart drop as she looked at me sadly. She soon left and I was told I would have to stay two more days in the hospital. When it hit the last day I made it to my house and let out a sigh as I open the door to a empty home. I went up to my room and she on the bed.

"Oswald.... please come home." I whispered as I laid down and closed my eyes.

I woke up to someone opening the bedroom door. I set up and felt myself freeze as I watched Oswald turn and look at me.

"(Y/n)? Your home?" He asked shocked.

I quickly stood up and wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss.

"I missed you so much." I whispered as I kissed all over his face.

He held me tightly to his chest as he hid his face in my neck.

"I am so happy to see you. Finally the king has his queen back." He whispered kissing my cheek.
