I groaned in annoyance as I waited for J to get back from his job. When I heard the door slam a smiled happily as I hopped up and skipped to the door.

"J your back." I said happily as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Hello gorgeous I have missed you Harley Quinn." He said with a smile.

"I missed you more puddin." I said as I kissed him happily.

I snuggled into him as we watched the news. My smiled disappeared as he stood up and shot the tv.

"I hate that no good Gordon! He is always in my way!" Jerome exclaimed angrily.

"Baby don't worry about him. You'll kill him for sure."

"Shut up Harl! I need to think."

I jumped back as he paced back and forth. I let out a sigh as I left to get some sleep. When I woke up Jerome was still up.

"Puddin get some rest." I said touching his shoulder.

I screamed as he grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly.

"I'll get rest when I want to rest!"

"I'm sorry! Please let me go Puddin!" I exclaimed as I felt my bone break.

He let go and I ran to the bathroom. I slid down the door and took a deep breath. I waited until I heard him leave before I left the bathroom. I made my way to the hospital and waited for the doctor.

"This is the third time this week. Please let me help you (y/n)." She said softly.

"If you wanna help me don't let my dad know.... I couldn't stand to see the disappointment in his eyes as he learned what I did." I said standing up.

"Harvey would forgive you..... please let me help you."

"2234 New Jersey street apartment 55b..... he doesn't get home until 4." I said as I walked out of the hospital room.

I made my way home and set on the bed. I snuggled into my pillow until I heard the door open.

"Harley I'm home!" He yelled with a laugh.

I stayed quiet as I faked asleep. I heard his footsteps and then I heard a knock. I heard the door open and then I heard people hurrying inside and a thump on the ground. I covered myself with covers as I waited for the sound to end.

"Search everywhere! (Y/N) Bullock should be here somewhere! She isn't to be harmed!" A voice yelled.

"Yea non of you morons hurt her! That's my baby!" Another voice yelled.

I heard my bedroom door open and I let it a shaky breath as I removed the covers to see a police officer.

"She is in here!" The man yelled.

"(Y/N)? Oh thank god!" My dad exclaimed as he hugged me.

"I'm so sorry I thought he loved me! I'm so sorry." I exclaimed through tears."

"It's okay sweetheart. I'm here." He whispered into my ear as he held me tighter.

After a couple of weeks I was back in school and having a normal life again. Jerome was sentenced to life in Arkham and I was freed of all charges.
