Bruce Wayne is my oldest friend and only friend. I grew up knowing him and spending everyday with him. It changed when his parents died.... after their deaths he and I stopped speaking. That was until today.

"Hello this is (Y/N) (Y/L/N)." I said answering the phone.

"Hi this is Alfred Pennyworth. I'm Master Wayne's butler. He had me call because he wishes to speak with you."

"I'll be there." I said.

I hung after he gave me a date and time, it was today at 4. I ran to get dressed and then I called my maid to take me. When I arrived I was shown to the library. I walked into see Bruce sitting down and reading.

"(Y/N) it's good to see you." He said smiling at me.

"Good to see you too Bruce." I said smiling at him.

We talked for awhile until the window open and a girl stepped through.

"Oh (Y/N) this is Selena." He explained as he smiled at her.

"Oh.... nice to meet you." I said fake smiling at her.

"I'll have Alfred get us drinks." Bruce said walking away.

"I see how you look at him... never gonna work. You see he wants me." She said as he left.

"I can see that." I said as I left the house.

I called my maid and waited for her on the steps.

"(Y/N) why are you out here?" Bruce asked opening the door.

"You have Selena you don't need me here." I whispered trying not to cry.

"What did she say to you?"

"Nothing."

"Tell me!" He yelled.

"She said you don't need me you have her and only.... want her." I said through tears.

"But I don't love her." He said smiling.

"Whose the lucky girl?" I asked.

"She is so kind..... sweet....honest.... and she is sitting on my steps crying." He said smiling at me.

I looked at him shocked before I felt his lips on mine. I kissed back gently and then we pulled away smiling.

"How about you come back in?" He asked.

"I called Jane though."

"She and Alfred can hang out." He said smiling at me.

"Then let's go." I said as he dragged me inside.
