This picture of Mona was totally Walking Dead inspired, which I am a semi-fan of.  The show is a little too over the top in my opinion, but the comics are outstanding and are a must read in my opinion.  In either case though, each property is going to scare you at least a little bit, especially with the depiction of the zombies.  I turned my fear of the zombies into artwork by drawing my character Mona as what she most likely would look like if she ever was on the show.  Also, making some of her bones visible was a creative choice to just amp up the scares.
