Expanding on the fake story established back on The Sacrifice, Maddie and Nicki, Mona's best friends, have entered the abandoned house their buddy is being held captive in.  Their history together is immense, with each having their paths altered for the better thanks to Mona.  Maddie, the humanoid cat, was without a penny in the street two years ago.  She had lost her job as a child star thanks to her backstabbing former romantic interest Lexi (a squirrel humanoid) and all her money was lost due to threats by the media outlets when negative, false rumors were spread by Lexi to further the blow.  Mona took in Maddie, knowing her from a comic con event years ago and knowing the cat to be nice.  Nicki, the humanoid hamster, on the other hand was persecuted for being born on the autism spectrum, and was bullied constantly in school.  Mona during high school protected Nicki during a particularly bad incident and has been friends with her ever since.  Maddie and Nicki owed Mona so much, and saving her life from a bunch of psychos definitely is a great repayment.

  However, when they enter the scene, they are horrified by the gruesome display around them.  Blood has been spilled in pools everywhere and hundreds of voices can be heard from the room Mona is being held in.  They freeze in horror, not knowing now if they can be brave enough to fight their inner fears and strong doubts.

  This picture was highly inspired from 50's horror movies, which were in black and white, as well as Plesantville and Schindler's List that blended both old and new film techniques.
