"What the heck?" I mutter as I wake up. The tree that I am in... it simply isn't a tree. Overnight it has turned into a cave. Either way it doesn't matter. The pond remains where it was and everything seems to be generally the same albeit more rocky. I decide to wake Giovanni up so that we can go out hunting for tributes. Some how, overnight it turned into the top 5. Giovanni and I are still in it as well as the girls from 2 and 8 and the boy from 6.  Typically this many people from the outlying districts don't make it this far. Most years it is only one or maybe two. These games are far from average.

    My trusty bow is held firmly in my hand. I can't let this go or else I will surely die. Suddenly, the girl from 2 wildly jumps from behind a pile of rocks that I think used to be a bush. "Where is he?" she screams. "I bet you killed him! What did you do to him?" she screams.

   "Who? Unless you are looking for the boy from 6 or my district partner he is dead." I say calmly, grabbing an arrow from the quiver on my back.

   "You killed him! I bet you watched as someone killed him! You deserve to die!" She screams. That's it. I shoot her through the neck and finally get Giovanni. If she hasn't been so insane she probably would have ended up killing me.

   "Gio, wake up." I yell.

    "What the heck?" He murmurs "What happened to the tree?"

    "Long story. It's just us two and then two other people in the top four. I killed the girl from 2 but I think we need to go hunting together."

    "It's ok Hydra. I can handle myself. Go back to sleep and I will take care of it." He says gently and I start to fall asleep. His voice is so sweet and soothing, that and I haven't sleep in forever, I start to drift off to sleep. Before I know it, I am asleep on the cave floor.

    When I wake up it feels like no time has passed at all. A cannon went off though so I have to hope that Gio is ok. I don't know what I would do if he died. Then, as suddenly as I wake up, I fall back asleep. Again I awake with Gio standing over me. "Hey. I got the girl from 8. We just need to kill one more person and then we are on our way home."
