"Gio wake up!" Hydra yells and I wake with a jolt. She has some blood on her and the tree has somehow turned into a cave.

"What the heck?" I mutter. Being yelled awake by someone you love with blood on them in a different place then you went to sleep is a bit disorienting. Then again, this is the Hunger Games. I should be happy that I woke up at all. "What happened to the tree?"

    "Long story. It's just us two and then two other people in the top four. I killed the girl from 2 but I think we need to go hunting together." Hydra replies. I can tell she isn't completely sure what happened.

    "It's ok Hydra. I can handle myself. Go back to sleep and I will take care of it." I say gently. She slowly drifts off to sleep. I smile at her. She looks so peaceful as she sleeps. It's the only time she smiles, ever since her bastard of a father killed her mother. If I ever get back I will make sure the Peacekeepers who were too busy killing someone who stole a loaf of bread to help her mother will pay.

   I can't contain myself any longer so I head out to take out my anger on something. I swing my sword around, missing the brush that I would have been destroying if the land hasn't changed into a freaking rocky wonderland. By the Cornucopia I think I see someone, or something, move. I run over. Hopefully it is a tribute so I can narrow the pool down to three. The only other girl left peeks her head out. Perfect. I run at her with my sword held high. She is frozen with shock, like a deer caught in the headlights. My conscience tugs at me. I shouldn't kill her. She has just as much reason to live as I do. But if she had the chance to kill me she would. A moment's hesitation is cause for death in these games. I jab my sword into her chest and a cannon fires. I decide to head back to Hydra now.

Hydra must have let me sleep in because it is already dark. That or the Gamemakers are shortening the days. The only face that show are those of the girl from 2 and the one that I killed, who I learn is from 8. I make it back to camp and wake Hydra up and then I whisper "Hey, I got the girl from 8. We just need to kill one more and we are on our way home."
