"Jacob Blackthorne!" Lyric Flickerman clapped.

I looked at my mentor, Farrah,

"You can do this Jacob. You are ready for this. Just be yourself," Farrah advised

I walked towards the stage and sat down on the couch.

"Welcome Jacob," Lyric welcomed me.

I nodded. She is really happy.

"One of the important questions I must ask you is, is there someone special at home?"

"My girlfriend Rina Marcasseo," I answered truthfully.

"Hahaha, wishes to the both of you!" Lyric said cheerfully, "Number two most important question is how was life before you were twelve?"

"Very hard," I said curtly.

"Not much of a talker?!" Lyric smiled as perky as can be.

"How do you like the Capitol?" Lyric asked.

"The Capitol is very nice and are very clean," I smiled.

"Ah! Isn't that a nice answer?" Lyric chuckled, "Why do you want to win the Hunger Games?"

"I want to win because I want to help my family," I told her and the audience.

"Isn't that nice?" Lyric clapped her hands together. "How did you feel during the reaping?"

"Not too happy when I got chosen," I said.

"What was the most hardest time for you?" She asked.

"My mother and father were always working. So that means I took care of my three little brothers," I sighed.
