8 - touch

day 28

it has officially been a month, since josh was stolen from his own life.

now here he is, in a dark basement with only one person in control of his life.

"joshua." tyler said when he opened the door the basement.

josh sat up and looked at the man, who was happily walking down the stairs.

josh sat up, staring at his captor.

"guess what." tyler smiled.

"hmm?" josh asked.

"i just got a raise!" tyler smiled. "5 dollars! that's an extra 200 a week!"

"wow congratulations." josh weakly smiled.

"hmm, it's a good day for killing." tyler mumbled.

"what?" josh asked.

"hmm? i said it's a good day to kill someone." tyler said. "not you," he gave him a nasty smirk.

josh cowered down a little more. he wished tyler would go ahead and kill him.

"you gotta get used to it. you're in a serial killers basement." tyler chuckled.

"how can you just pick someone to take their life away?" josh said. tyler rolled his eyes.

"i see what i want. i take it." tyler smirked. "i wanted you, i took you."

"why haven't you killed me." josh said.

tyler just chucked, turning and making his way up the stairs.

"i'll be back. and we can have some fun." tyler said, making his way out and shutting the door. josh flinched as he heard the lock click.

"please, please just kill me."

-

sure enough, around 4 hours later, josh heard a bang upstairs. he knew what was about to happen.

"got you a friend!" tyler said once he opened the door to the basement. he heard a drowsy mumble come from the body that was draped over his shoulder.

"how should we do this today, joshua? i haven't killed in awhile. i need bloody." tyler said, throwing the body down on the ground.

it was a young girl. around early to mid 20s josh would guess. she had dark brown hair, and pretty pale skin.

"how'd you find her?" josh mumbled, tears pricking his eyes.

"she was jogging." tyler said emotionless, looking at josh for an answer to his previous question.

"how do you keep getting away with this?" josh looking up at the man.

"i told you baby. im a god." he whispered, smiling wide after saying it.

tyler looked at the girl, who was mumbling and moving around. josh could tell she was drugged.

"i think i know what i wanna do." tyler said, his malicious smile returning to his face.

josh knew this was the moment his eyes changed.

tyler grabbed a handful of her hair, dragging her over so she was more towards the drain. she screamed and kicked the best she could, but she was too out of it to fight harder.

he made his way to his corner, and changed into his white t-shirt. it was permanently stained.  he grabbed his knife and made his way back to the girl.

he squatted down, setting his hand on her cheek.

"i had the most wonderful day today." tyler said deeply. "and you're about to make it even better."

she mumbled and wiggled around, but tyler had her pinned down now.

josh could sense the fear radiating off of the innocent girl, and the pure evil radiating off of tyler.

josh couldn't look away.

"joshua." tyler said, not taking his eyes off of the girl.
josh didn't saying anything.

"do you see this girl? see the fear in her eyes?" tyler asked.

"y-yeah." josh managed to squeak out.

"that's exactly what i love to see. why i do this." tyler grinned. he grabbed his knife.

"stop, please stop." josh sobbed and begged.

"oh no, i'm not gonna stop. and you're gonna watch, and you're gonna picture yourself in my position, doing what i'm doing. and you're gonna like it." tyler said calmly, still keeping his eyes on the girl.

josh continued to sob, a choked beg coming out of his mouth when tyler pressed the knife to her neck.

josh gasped as tyler swiftly plunged the knife into her neck, blood spraying out. tyler didn't stop, as he lifted the knife up and continued to stab and slash at the women in the throat and in the face.

she gurgled and choked, blood spraying and pooling everywhere.

josh could hear tyler's heavy breaths and grunts as he continued to mutilate the women's body.

he could see the anger coming off of tyler.

tyler didn't stop until the women's face was shred to pieces. he finally threw the knife down, the clattering of it against the concrete echoing through the now silent room.

josh watched as tyler stared at the bleeding body. he watched as tyler caught his breath and smiled at the work he had done.

tyler made his way to josh, who was sitting on the floor against the wall.

joshs breath caught in his throat as tyler squatted down in front of him.  the stench of blood flooding his senses.

tyler brought his shaky hands up in front of him and joshs. the dark red blood dripping off of them and down his arms.

"do you see this?" tyler asked quietly.

josh nodded quickly.

"do you know what this is?"

"b-blood." josh said shakily.

"do you smell it? the smell of death, and blood. the mortality of it."

josh nodded, teary eyes looking into tyler's dark, evil eyes. they were looking right back at his.

tyler brought a hand up to joshs cheek. just gasped and tried to pull away, but was stopped by the concrete wall behind him.

"shhh." tyler said. "shhh"

josh whimpered, lip quivering.

"you scared?" tyler whispered. josh nodded.

"don't you think if i wanted to kill you, i would have by now?" tyler half smiled.

"i want you. you're mine." he almost hissed. josh nodded again.

tyler brought his other bloody hand up to joshs face. josh flinched at the warm thick liquid against his skin.

"this rage. you have it too." tyler started, moving their faces closer so their noses were barely brushing. "evil, i can see it deep down."

"the lives i take, i do for me. i take their lives. i get to decide who lives, and who dies. i get to watch as the light goes out behind their eyes and their blood pours out." tyler said just above a whisper.

"i decide if you live or die." tyler said. "i'm keeping you alive for a reason."

"what's the reason?" josh said, head slightly tilting back and mouth open. his breath shuddered, his body shaking.

"you'll know when you know." tyler mumbled. joshs breath hot on his face. josh looked into the man's eyes. his face was covered in blood spatter, and his shirt was soaked in the red.

"you'll feel the rage joshua." tyler whispered.

he moved in, lips almost brushing against joshs. josh whimpered.

he looked at josh with a big smile on his face. the darkness leaving his eyes.

"you're coming around joshua." tyler said as he slipped his shirt off. he threw it towards the sink.

"i'll bring you some dinner." he said, grabbing the tarp again and throwing it over the body. he looked at josh once more, chuckling as he made his way up the stairs. he shut the door.

the room was silent other than the steady drips of blood.

josh sat in the same position, still feeling the thick blood on his face.

he moved his hand up, touching the liquid and pulling it back to look at. he rubbed his shaking fingers together, feeling the slipperiness between them.

"w-what?" josh said, immediately starting to sob again.

"no no no-" he repeatedly hit his hands against the sides of his head.

the psychological torture tyler was forcing into his brain.  the thoughts wouldn't stop.

the thoughts about what tyler said.

the thoughts about tyler sitting over that women, repeatedly stabbing a knife into her neck.

the thoughts about himself in tyler's position
