9 weeks before the abduction

"i'll see you tonight ry." josh said.

"alright man have fun." ryan said from the couch.

josh nodded and walked out of his apartment, making it down to his car and starting it up.

he turned on his music and put in dallons address. he can't ever remember how to get there.

after the short drive, he pulled into the decent sized one story house and parked.

he walked up to the door and gave it a little knock, before slowly walking in.

"dal?" josh questioned when he didn't see anyone.

"in the bedroom!" he heard him yell, followed by the short strum of a bass guitar.

"hey, working on music?" josh smiled, walking up to the chair he was sitting in and wrapping his arm around his shoulder.

"yeah," dallon pressed a kiss to his lips. "just thinkin of some instrumentals."

"ahh." josh smiled.

dallon started a little band when he graduated highschool. he's a year older than josh.

"when do we needa leave?" dallon asked, looking up at josh. josh checked his watch.

"in about 20 minutes probably." josh said.

"what song were you doing?" josh asked, sitting on the bed. dallon spun his chair around to face him.

"it's called razzmatazz. i really like what i got going so far." dallon smiled.

"you're so talented." josh smiled. "are those the lyrics?"

"nah, this is for another song. it's actually about my ex." dallon kinda chuckled. "wanna read them?"

"uhhh sureee." josh said questionably. dallon laughed and handed him the notebook.

"wow," josh said when he finished reading. "what'd he do to you?"

"he cheated, bunch of times." dallon said, a slight smile on his face.

"sheesh, he really fumbled that bag." josh said, giggling as dallon chuckled and pushed him down onto the bed.

"yeah, but now i got you." dallon smiled. he leaned down and connected their lips. he pulled back.

"even though you won't admit you're in love with me." dallon playfully sighed.

"oh my goddd dal." josh smiled and covered his face with his hands. "i told you i really like you."

"oh i know you do. and i know you're in love with me. i be makin you kick your feet and giggle and shit." dallon said.

"shut the fuck up." josh blushed.

"yup. kickin the feet and twirling your hair." dallon teased. he kicked his feet.

"you do the same thing." josh smiled.

"oh yeah. i'll admit it i do." dallon smirked, kissing him again.

"you didn't write me a song so that means you don't like me." josh teased.

"hehe well," dallon said, slightly blushing.

"no way." josh looked at him.

"it was supposed to be a surprise. for when you finally admit you're in love with me." dallon said.

"i wanna hear it!" josh said.

"nope." dallon said.

"is it done?" josh asked, rolling on top so he was straddling the boy.

"yup. the whole thing." dallon said.

"you bitch!" josh playfully smacked his chest. "you're meeting my parents tonight that should be enough."

"you're just gonna have to wait." dallon held his ground. "speaking of that, i'm like very nervous."

"why?"

"cause what if they don't like me?" dallon said, running his hand through the side of joshs hair.

"you realize that's the most basic response to that question." josh said.

"yeah, but they're gonna hate me. i'm too tall and sexy and my peen is too magnificent." dallon covered his eyes and sighed dramatically.

"you know what you're right. because if you say peen they're gonna hate you." josh said, dallon laughing.

"yeah yeah." dallon sighed, pulling josh down and kissing him deeply. "you're so beautiful."

"thank you dal."  josh blushed hard, landing soft pecks to his lips.

"now let's go before you give me a boner." dallon huffed, standing up off of him.

"it looks like it's already too late." josh chuckled, looking at his black loose jeans.

"bitch." dallon said. grabbing his hand and pulling him up.

"is brendon here?" josh asked.

"yeah he's in his room." dallon nodded. brendon was dallons roomate.

"hehehe." josh chuckled, going up to brendon's door and bursting in.

"shit!" brendon jumped, laughing when he saw josh.

"wassup fucker." brendon said, josh sitting down on his bed.

"what've you been doin?" josh asked. dallon walked in the door.

"just fuckin your mom and smokin weed." brendon said.

"brens the master mom fucker." dallon said.

"i really am i've actually fucked like 3 moms." brendon said. "what're y'all up to?"

"going to eat with joshs parents." dallon said, giving a nervous smile.

"yikes." brendon said. "you're screwed."

"whatever." josh chuckled.

"i already told josh they're gonna hate me cause of my massive peen."

"bro that's true." brendon nodded.

"see! told you." dallon said.

"brendon don't encourage the use of the word peen."

"are they here yet?" dallon asked setting his hand on joshs headrest to look behind them as he backed his truck into the parking space.

"yeah, they got a table." josh said.

"shit, are we late?" dallon asked.

"no we're good." josh smiled. dallon returned the smile and leaned over to connect their lips.

"you still nervous?" josh asked, setting his hand on dallons cheek.

"yeah bad." dallon chuckled. he kissed him again.

"you'll be fine." josh said. he unbuckled his seatbelt and the two got out and walked up to the door of the italian restaurant.

josh found his mom and dad, the two boys walking up to the booth.

"oh joshua!" laura smiled, standing up and hugging him. bill did the same.

"and you must be dallon?" she said.

"yes ma'am." dallon nodded, hugging her back. "nice to meet y'all." he shook bills hand. they both sat down at the booth.

josh looked over and gave dallon a warm smile. dallon set his hand on joshs thigh.

"so, dallon, nice to meet you." laura said.

"its nice to finally meet you guys!" dallon said.

"what are you studying in school?" bill asked.

"uh ima junior in college. i'm majoring in music theory and i actually have a band." dallon nodded.

"oh really? what's the band called? are you big?" laura asked.

"it's called the brobecks, its me and sometimes my roomate will help play drums or something. and uh we play small local shows like in dive bars and stuff."

"that's amazing. we might have to come watch sometime." laura said, the waiter coming up to the table. they ordered their food and dallon and josh got their drinks.

"so joshua, how have you been?" laura asked.

"the same as usual. my hard class is getting better though." josh said.

"good!" laura said "so, dallon, what're your parents like?"

"my moms a optometrist and my dads an IT worker.  uhh they're nice people. it's just me and them and i got one sister. she's two years older than me." dallon said. you could tell he was still nervous.

"oh joshua doesn't have any siblings.  well i'm sure you already know that." laura chuckled.

"yeah." dallon nodded. "well, he's a pretty good guy."

"awww,  i always knew he'd pick a good boyfriend." laura said.

"mommm he's not my boyfriend." josh whined.

"he won't admit that he likes me." dallon said, josh rolling his eyes.

"i like you, but you're not my boyfriend." josh said.

"i'm his boyfriend." dallon nodded, laura winking and chuckling.

"i don't know how you put up with him." bill said, josh gasping.

"wowwww." josh said, covering his eyes.

they ate and talked for a long time, dallon getting along great with bill and laura.

by the end of the dinner dallon wasn't nervous anymore, and was cracking jokes left and right. laura and bill loved him.

"well dallon it was very very nice to meet you." laura said once they made it outside.

"you too laura!" dallon said, hugging her back. he shook bills hand again. he could tell bill was a more quiet and shy guy.

"i'll see you again before too long." dallon said.  "gonna go wait in the truck baby." dallon pressed a quick kiss to joshs forehead.

laura looked a josh and smiled with her eyebrows raised once he walked away. josh blushed hard.

"super handsome, very nice, and so tall!"  laura whisper yelled the last part.

"i know i did pretty good didn't i." josh said.

"you did very good. we both really liked him." laura nodded.

"he was even better than expected." bill nodded.

josh gave them both really big hugs before saying goodbyes and heading back to the truck with dallon.

"so?" dallon asked. josh just leaned over and kissed him.

"they loved you." josh said, dallon fist pumping the air.

"hell yeah. i got the blessing." dallon said.

"my mom sounded like she had a crush on you." josh laughed as he buckled his seatbelt and dallon started driving.

"well, maybe we can send her number to brendon."
