Percy POV-
Once the class was gone, the couch approached me.

"What was that?!" He yelled.

"I told him not to talk about my life" I snapped.

"What happened to you!? What happened to the kind, caring Percy that I knew?" He asked.

"He died. That Percy is gone and he's never coming back."

"You should want the old Percy back, you should try to become him again, and I can help you with that if you join the swim team!"

"Don't act like you can help me. No one can help me. And if you think getting back in the water is going to help that, your wrong. The best way to help, is to let me go." Leo drowned. That's the main reason I won't go into the water anymore. And, if I did go into the water, my dad would know were I was and try to help me.

"Well if your not going to let me help then I except an explanation for why your doing all this. Why are you getting the teachers mad? Why are you staying away from everyone? Is it to get attention?" He asked.

"Why do I keep to myself? Because that's the best way to deal with the pain. Pain that no one here has felt. I'm not getting the teachers mad on purpose, that's just how I am. They get on my nerves. And if I wanted attention, I wouldn't be here."

"You can't just get the teachers mad just because you want to Percy. The world doesn't revolve around you." He said.

"I know the world doesn't revolve around me! The world hates me! Everything I do to try to make life better backfires. I thought coming here would give me a new start in life, that it would help me keep my mind of my life. But I was wrong.

  Why can't you guys just leave me alone!? I can already get any job in the world that I want, there's no need for school. And I know I can't get the teachers mad all the time, but there the ones who decide to piss me off.

   My world a lot different then yours coach. My life is harder. And it sucks, it sucks that you and all the other teachers think that you can change me back.

If the dead could come back, or if I died, I'd be the happiest man in the world. But I made a promise, and I intend to keep it."

After my long speech, I went to get changed without another word.
