Hiccup woke up. He groaned, he didn't want to wake up. He got up carefully, as not to wake his wife. He walked to the other end of the bedroom. He pet his friend, his Nightfury, Toothless. He gurgled in response. Hiccup walked downstairs, preparing breakfast. Astrid could train a dragon, fight, be sarcastic, and shoot glares like there's no tomorrow. The one thing she can't do is cook. If you ate one of her sandwiches, you'd understand. Hiccup cooked some mutton, quick breakfast. Then his little girl could be heard crying upstairs. He ran into her room, and sat down on her bedside. She had obviously been awake. "What's wrong, Nattie?" I asked her. "My.... My nightfuwey........ He.... He got broked." She said in between sobs. The model of Toothless flying had been broken, only a leg though. "I'll fix it, daddy will fix it." I said, smiling. She beamed "You will!? Yay!!!" She threw her arms in the air to express her joy. She hugged me, and I hugged back, saying. "Now there's my little dragon rider." She suddenly had a face like this-is-serious-and-I-need-to-talk-about-it. "What's on your mind, Nattie." I asked. "I was just wondering, when am I gonna get a Dwahgon?" She questioned. Man, she couldn't say hwr R's very well, but she knew how to word sentences pretty well, for being a 6 year old. "Um..... When you're a little older." I said. Of course, I wanted to take her on a flight the day she turned five, but Astrid would have none of it. I got up, my daughter close behind. I took the mutton chops, and gave Nattie the less burned one. I sat at the table, waiting for Astrid to come down. I finished my mutton, and went upstairs. "Astrid....." I questioned, opening our bedroom door. She was gone. I quickly ran downstairs and got Toothless, telling Nattie to go to Gobber and help. She was very good at smithing, and Gobber liked it. I mounted Toothless, and took off. It is a darn good thing I forgot to take mine and Toothless' riding gear off. We soared, and landed on Itchy Armpit, the island Toothless got to name. We landed, and I sighed, was I ever going to see my wife again?
