Midnight the day after I had my first kids, my god, I was a mother.

"Katie?" Manu walked in with some food, "Melissa picked up some Wendy's for you"

"Oh she's a god send" I smiled. "How are they?"

"Dinah is fast asleep and Johnathan is finishing up his final test" Manu said, pushing my hair back. "The nurses well bring them in soon"

"God, I hate that they are so far from me" I said, pulling my food out of the bag.

"Yea, I know" Manu smiled, sitting next to me. "It's your motherly instinct to keep them close"

We sat in silence for a minute, "Katherine" Manu said. I took a bite of my burger and looked at him, he held a red velvet box in his right hand. My mouth was full so only my eyes could widen. "Katherine Cassidy, life has turned us on our heads and back, god knows what's to come and where we'll end up, but all I know is I want to be at your and our beautiful twins side. So, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?"

He opened the box to reveal a beautiful ring, silver band with small diamonds and though it was thin it had a huge diamond in the middle.

I swallowed my bite and began nodding, "Of course!"

Manu smiled and leaned over kissing me, it was awkward positioning since I was still uncomfortable from my c-section but we made it work.

"Who's telling Melissa?" I asked as we pulled away.

"I didn't think that far through" Manu paused.

"Pass me my phone" I said, he grabbed it and handed it to me. I pulled up a DM and shot her a simple text.

Set the aisle, we're getting married

Within 3 minutes Melissa was in the room; heavily panting and smiling. "You finally proposed!" She exclaimed to Manu.

"Oh god" Manu was tackled, Caity and Katie MG coming in next, followed by Chyler and Emily.

"Oh my god! Congratulations!" Emily cheered, "See? I would be here for the birth and engagement"

"And I hope the wedding as well?" I asked.

"Wouldn't miss it, sis" Emily smiled.

A few minutes later, the chatter died down as a nurse wheeled in the crib where my twins rested peacefully. "Wow, full house" The nurse chuckled.

"Oh my god" I gasped. They were tiny, as small as my forearm, but strong. "My babies"

"The doctor predicts you'll be able to hold them in a weeks time" The nurse said, "I'll leave you to it"

I slowly move my hand through the opening, Dinah was the smallest, she had the tiniest hands I had ever seen while Johnathan was a little bigger.

"They're beautiful, Katie" Melissa smiled.

"They truly are"
