Reverse
Crowley preened the sleeping Angels pearly white wings, as he has been too tired to tuck them away before he went to sleep- which was unusual for Aziraphale. He stroked his fingers gently through the feathers- until something startled him. Something, from only his worst nightmares. A small glimmer of black was visible in the shining white feathers. A single black feather was sitting comfortably in his beautiful, vast wings. He gasped. This was his biggest fear- his angel falling because of him. He would never forgive him. He gently tugged on the feather, pleading that it was one of his that had gotten somehow stuck in there- but it was stuck. It didn't come out- it wasn't one of his feathers. His heart dropped and he could feel it pounding, he felt almost suffocated. He couldn't breathe. He decided to leave it and not tell him- maybe it was just one and nothing will happen, it could just be- like a human getting a grey hair. But that's not how it works. The back of Crowley's head nagged, and so he forced him self to go to sleep- which wasn't very successful.
The following morning, after a long and restless night, Crowley got out of bed- his eyes where bloodshot and his under eyes where dark purple. He hadn't had any sleep the previous night, and was still worried sick about his angel. He wandered down to the kitchen, feeling sick with worry. "Angel?" He called out, as aziraphale was absent from the bed. "D- don't call me that..." a small voice was heard from the bathroom, it sounded broken. "Angel." Crowley whispered as he dashed to the bathroom. The door was locked. He pulled on it as hard as he could. "Open this door angel." He said loudly. "I said don't call me that!" He shouted back, sobbing. "Let me it!" Shouted Crowley, incredibly concerned for his angel. He could never forgive him, this was all his fault.
Meanwhile, Gabriel, Micheal, and uriel laughed as they watched on from heaven. "This is gunna be great, when Crowley finds out." Gabriel's deep voice drawled. "This is genius, it's both of their worst nightmares. Especially, the demon. There's no way aziraphale would like him after this." Micheal commented slyly. Uriel laughed along, but deep down, she began to feel bad. They could see aziraphale crying on the bathroom floor, his demonic black wings hanging behind him. His rank in heaven was no where near as high as Crowley's was, and so his wings where much less extravagant and strong. They where feeble, and thick with black feathers. He looked in the mirror, to see that he now had red eyes glistening back at him. His once blonde and fluffy hair was now grey with dark streaks. Even his suit had turned black- as bad all of his clothes.
Crowley had an idea. He turned to a snake, the smallest he could, and slithered into a small gap, and made it into the bathroom. Aziraphale gasped, "C- Crowley- is that you?" He asked, as the demon turned back into human. "What do you mean, why wouldn't it be?" He said as he rushed to aziraphales side to embrace him. Aziraphale recoiled, "c- Crowley, look in the mirror." He whispered, his voice quivering, as he knew that Crowley was not going to react well to this. "What, why?" Crowley asked quickly, panicking. "Just do it, Raphael!" Shouted Aziraphale loudly. "W- What did you just call me?" He said quietly, scarily calm. "I- I said Raphael, an angel I knew, w- when I was in heaven, when I- I was an angel." He stuttered holding back tears. "Aziraphale," Crowley said urgently leaning down, forgetting what he called him. "You will always be my angel. We will figure this out- w-we could both go down to hell, since none of us can go to heaven anymore, and- and then we can confront-" he ranted before aziraphale snapped at him. "CROWLEY LOOK IN THE MIRROR!" He screamed, before he began sobbing once again. Crowley silenced and looked blankly at him. He opened his mouth, but he was to hurt to say anything. He stood up, and turned to face the mirror. He collapsed.
Uriel was concerned. This was not what heaven was about- they where suppose to be the good guys. She knew that she had done some bad things- but she had changed. She needed to report this to a higher authority. It was forbidden for anyone but god to tamper with the falling of angels and rising of demons, which was a very rare occurrence. She prayed, she prayed harder than ever to try and call god.
"Crowley," Aziraphale said, shaking Crowley, who was now on the floor where he had collapsed. He opened his eyes slowly to be greeted by a man, smiling inches above his face. His piercing red eyes staring at him. "I- I'm an angel." Whispered Crowley, confused. "W-What the hell is going on." He said as he felt his face in the mirror. He suddenly noticed Aziraphales mouth open wide in awe. "What!" He said spinning around, but as he span, a flash of white followed. His yes widened. He turned around to see the brightest, and biggest white wings he had her seen, with golden star constellations etched into them. "Shit." He commented blankly. He looked down, and was greeted by his black designer clothes, now a white blazer, and his grey under top was now gold, and jeans where white. "What in satans name am I wearing." He commented, pulling his blazer off. "I think it suits you, my dear." Aziraphale said, smiling for the first time. Crowley looked over at him sadly, "you think so?" He asked quietly. Aziraphale nodded and smiled. Crowley now long hair tumbled long past his shoulders and hung in deep curls down to his knees. A faint shimmer hung around him, and Aziraphale could swear he was glowing slightly- after all, he was a very powerful angel, one of the highest ranks. He was an archangel- a star-maker.
"Angel." Crowley said blankly. "Why did you gasp, when you saw my snake form- I thought-" he said, sounding sad, as the He thought that his boyfriend didn't accept him as a snake anymore. "Oh, oh no dear. It's just- well. Um, go into your snake form." He commanded lightly. Crowley blushed as he didn't like transforming in front of people, but did as he was told. He gasped, once again. Crowley shot a confused look at him, as he saw him staring wide eyed as him. He hissed, as if to say, what? Nothings different is it? Aziraphale lifted him up so that he could soo in the mirror, and he almost discorporated. He hissed in surprise as he was greeted by a white snake with green eyes, the same as the eyes he has now as an angel. "I don't understand," he said as he turned back. "I couldn't even do that when I wasss an angel?" He said hissing. He was shocked when he hissed. "Sssee?" He hissed confided. "I think, you still have some of your demon features as you where one for such a long time." He commented offhandedly, shrugging. Crowley sighed and sunk down onto the floor, soon followed by Aziraphale. "What should we do?" Asked the ex angel as he looked sadly at Crowley. "I know..."
Crowley spread his wings wide, as Aziraphale watched in awe, as the beautiful golden constellation that where etched into the pure white feathers shimmered in the ripe sun. He unleashed his black, smaller wings, and they pushed off the ground at high speeds. They soared all the way up to heaven, and landed in the blinding white room. A desk, the same colour as the rest of heaven stood at the end of the long room. A small angel stood behind the desk, casually working on the computer. Crowley strode towards it menacingly. They walked straight past the receptionist who looked at them confused, and slightly scared. They soon came upon a room, where they found Gabriel, and Micheal, standing around a blurry moving image of- them? Right now in heaven. "What have you done!" Growled Crowley walking angrily towards him. Gabriel backed away. Crowley was furious. His hands seized up, and Aziraphale saw that purple mass was beginning to surround them, as his eyes began to glow purple. A small galaxy began to form around his hands and lingered around him. "W- What the." Gabriel stuttered, petrified, and flabbergasted. Aziraphale put his hands around Crowley's arm to stop him and whispered to him to calm him down. Crowley's eyes stopped glowing and his hands loosened. "I'm sorry angel, I got a bit carried away." He said. They looked around. He didn't even notice, but before Aziraphale had calmed him down, he pulsed some sort of energy around him. It send the angels flying and flipped the desk they where around.
Crowley looked down at his hands as he saw the miniature galaxys around them. Aziraphale also watched in awe. "Crowley how are you doing that." He asked. Before he could answer, Uriel walked in. And as soon as she did, a blinding gold light shine in from the roof. "Crowley, Aziraphale, it's nice to see you." Said an calming American voice. "M- mother?" Asked Aziraphale. "Yes, Aziraphale. I'm ever so sorry, this was not my doing- it was the archangel Gabriel. He will be punished and get what he deserves." She said calmly. Crowley's mouth hung open. "Ah, Crowley. You where always a good angel- and I'm so sorry that you fell but, you had too- otherwise the ineffable would not have happened. You would not have been with Aziraphale, and wouldent have stopped the apocalypse, which was also, not my doing." The light somewhat glared at Gabriel who was on the floor from Crowley's blast. "Gabriel will not fall, as he believes that this is what I want- his vision of goodness is skewed and warped due to his time watching down on earth. He will be punished and changed however. As for Micheal- she will also." Micheal gulped and almost fainted. "Uriel however, has defied me," She said as she looked down in dismay "but, she did the right thing- and so, she will be forgiven. Now Raphael, I know that you Donny want to be an angel, but you don't want do be a demon either. I know that deep down you hate that you fell, and are actually still good." She said as Crowley glowed bright red. "And so, you will go back to how you where- but I have now made you- mutual. Your now belong to nor the side of the angels or demons. You can be who you want." She offered kindly, she noticed how Crowley was now beaming. "As for you, Aziraphale, you are one of the best, if not the best, and most truly good angel. You know what is right and what is wrong, and you follow this- even if it means defying me." He looked down and twiddled his thumbs. "For this, you shall rise, and raise ranks to a higher one." She said as Aziraphale smiled, a brighter, and more angelic smile than any she had ever seen. "Now you may head back and remember- I'm always here for you, and everything happens for a reason..."
They opened their eyes again, and they where back in Crowley's garden. Aziraphale looked at Crowley, "Crowley!" He cried, "your back to normal!" They embraces and walked inside to check themselves. Aziraphale unleashed his wings to see them purer, and stronger that's before. They shone a subtle gold around the feathers which hung gently around His entire body. He sighed, happily as he looked at his once again white clothes. Crowley was rather worried as to what he may find when he unfurled his wings. Aziraphale nudged him to do it and reassured him. He took a deep breath and flexed his shoulders to release his now midnight black wings. But, they had beautiful golden star constellations in them just like they had when he was an angel. He gasped- he loved it. As did Aziraphale. His clothes where black again, but he could still create galaxies and stars- he still had the powers of an archangel and a demon. He was probably one of the most powerful beings. He could still change to a snake and his eyes where, to his dismay, the same as they where before.
"Well," began Aziraphale "that was a long day."
