You and Erik were up late talking in Charles's mansion, the topic of conversation changed to what would happen in the future.

"What do you think will happen once the world finds out about us." You asked, fidgeting in your chair.

"The humans will hunt us down, capture us and experiment on us. War will break out. Peace was never an option." Erik answered, staring into your eyes, "You know I'm right, (y/n)." He added.
