"Lets just get this over with. Be quick, lads. I'm starving and the food here ain't so great." Roger complained.
Freddie pushed open the door. It was silent for a moment, but then all hell broke loose. Mounds of screaming fans scrambled to meet the boys, holding out pens and and pads of paper or posters wanting them to be signed.
"Stay close to me," Brian said,"because we wouldn't want another incident."
I chuckled a little, but I could barely understand him.
"Can we go somewhere, y'know, a little quieter ?" I shouted over the talking.
He nodded and then grasped my hand and walked me to the back of the room, pushing his way through the crowd and denying all of their requests.
Once we made it to the far corner, we sat down on the ground trying to hide from everyone. We were pretty well hidden until a a girl came over. She was tall and skinny, about 23 years of age, and had dazzling blue eyes. I started to get worried because she had way more to offer than I did and she was a lot prettier.
"Hello," she said confidently as she walked up to Brian. She stuck out her hand,"I'm Carissa. You're the guitarist, right?"
Brian slowly shook her hand and then he answered," yes. I was up on that stage playing guitar, wasn't I?"
She giggled and blushed a little,"I guess you've got a point. How could I forget all that hair?"
She inched her way closer to him. I was still sitting on the floor not wanting to be bothered. But I knew I had to get up. I didn't want her to make Brian uncomfortable or anything. Plus, he kind of was my "boyfriend".
"So, Brian,"she started again,"how long have you been playing guitar?"
"Well, you know, I don't exactly remember the exact time, but it was a while ago. Yeah. Well, I really should be going now ."
As he turned to walk away, Carissa grabbed Brian's shoulder and turned him around. I popped up into the air almost immediately.
"But I want to talk some more, get to know you," she said, a bit harshly.
Brian turned around to look back at me, then he looked back at the girl. He politely shooed off her hands from his shoulders then he replied,"no thanks. I've got a girl."
He walked over to me and put his hand around my waist and pulled me close. "Her name is Eleanor," he said proudly.
Carissa sneered at us both and trudged away furiously.
After about 45 minutes, everyone was escorted out of the room. We were finally free. "Are we finally going to get some pizza?" John asked.
"For sure!" Freddie replied.

When we got to the restaurant, they were just about to close up. I was about 11:45 when we arrived, but since the manager was a huge Queen fan, he decided to let us come in. We sat down and immediately ordered a four-cheese pizza.
"Man, I can't wait to eat," John sighed in relief and then continued, "So lads, you meet anyone tonight?"
Freddie shook his head in disappointment. Brian pointed to me and then laughed.
"How about you, Roger?" I asked.
"Well, I did meet this one girl. We exchanged numbers."
"Great job, Rog." Freddie added.
"What's her name?" I asked.
"I think it's was Carissa."
Brian spit out the water he was drinking. It sprayed out all over John.
"Oh, come on, Brian! You couldn't have spit to the side?"
"Did you just say Carissa?" Brian asked.
"Yeah. You know her?"
"Know her? She had her hands all over me! Wow, Rog. Good job. Real swell."
Everyone looked over at me. I turned red out of embarrassment."it's okay," I finally said,"Brian showed her me and she ran away. Man, she was so desperate."
And with that, Roger ripped up her phone number and laughed," here we go again. Another relationship destroyed by you fools!"
We all let out a burst of laughter. Then the pizza came out and we all become silent. We ate in silence, too. When we finished, we paid and then went out to the limo.
"Wow, it's getting pretty late. How long were we in there?" John asked.
It was 1:00 AM.
"Oh, shoot!" I yelled,"I have to call my mom. She's probably been worried sick. Is there a phone I can use?"
Freddie handed me the car phone and I called me mom.
"Hello?" My mom answered in a tired voice.
"Mom? It's Elle."
"Elle! Why aren't you home? Where are you? Are you okay?"
" yes, mom. I'm fine. I'm with the band. Can you believe that?"
"You mean hanging out with them? Queen?"
"Yes, mom."
"How'd that happen?"
"It's a long story. I'll tell you when I get home."
"Okay, honey. Take care. And if one of those boys tries to mess with you, you punch him in the face, okay?"
"Okay," I laughed and then hung up the phone.
"I need to go home. My mom is a bit worried."
"Okay, love . Where do you live?" Freddie asked.
I told them where to turn and before I knew it I was at the front of my house. "Well, then, I'll just being going then. Thanks for the great time, guys."
As I was walking up the steps to my house, I heard Brian call my name. "Elle! Is our date still on, y'know, for whenever I'm free?"
"Of course! Oh, wait." I stopped and then pulled out a paper. I wrote down my phone number and my address.
"Here. Call whenever and then we'll work out the details, okay?"
"Sure."
He gave me a goodbye hug. He held me there for a while until Roger shouted out the window for him to hurry up. He walked back to the limo and we both waved goodbye.
I opened the door to my house only to see someone waiting on there. I was expecting my mom to be there but it wasn't. It was Thomas.
A/N:
Kind of a filler chapter. Sorry. I'll be getting to the good parts soon. I promise! You know, true love takes time :)
