I knew I had to get Brian to a hospital. I had know idea what was going on and I started to panic. Since we were right near my house, I set Brian down and ran in and got my mom.
"Mom, something's happened to Brian, we have to get him to the emergency room."
"What?" She screamed in confusion.
She started hyperventilating and hurriedly searched for her car keys.
We all climbed into her car, except for Brian, of course. He needed to be lifted in by the both of us.
I sat in the back with him, holding him close and stroking his curls. He was groaning during the whole ride. But he wouldn't wake up.
When we finally arrived at the hospital, the doctors took him back into a special area. I wasn't allowed to see him until they had gotten a diagnosis and put things under control.

-----

It seemed like an eternity, but they finally called my mom and me back so that we could see him. As soon as I opened the door, I saw Brian's face light up with excitement and I ran to give him a hug.
I wanted to know what had happened, so I started asking the doctor some questions about Brian's condition.
"So, Doc, what happened?"
"Well, he is definitely going to be okay, I can assure you that. He was just dehydrated and was suffering from a severe migraine. But he's definitely going to be fine. There's no need to worry."
"Okay. Thank you."
Brian looked over at the doctor with pleading eyes. I was guessing he wanted to be alone because the doctor left very soon after our conversation and Brian turned and gestured for me to come and sit down right next time him.
"That was quite an adventure, wasn't it?" I broke the silence.
"Oh, yes, a very exciting one. But I really don't remember most of it," he chuckled.
"So when are you getting out of here?"
"They said I can go home by tomorrow. They want to make sure I'm drinking enough water and also to watch these bad migraines. Funny. I've never had problems with headaches or such things before. This is a bit odd."
"Maybe you're stressed from the concert."
"I don't know. I enjoy being up there. It's not like I'm a beginner guitarist, either."
We both laughed and continued talking when Freddie, Roger, and John came in.
"So," Freddie started,"what happened here?"
"Yeah, Brian," John repeated,"what in the world happened to you."
"Lads, I passed out because of dehydration and a bad headache. But it's not that big of a deal."
"So you'll be okay?" Asked Roger.
"For sure," Brian answered.

----

The next day, Brian was released from the hospital. He seemed perfectly normal, as if nothing had even happened. He just went upon his way. We met up at my house so we could talk.
"Elle, would tonight be good for dinner?"
"I don't think I have any other plans, so that makes my answer a yes."
"Great! Don't worry. I'll pick out a really nice place. I'll pick you up around, say, seven-ish?"
"Sounds fine."
We talked some more until about two o'clock. Then Brian decided he should leave. I was hoping he didn't have something too big planned. It was only our first date.

A/N:
Blegh short chapter. But anything that I could take from the next chapter and put in here would be completely irrelevant. So I'm just saving it all for the next chapter.
