"Hobi? S-something wrong?"

"Hyung, I can't fall asleep. I feel so tired and extremely sleepy, but I can't fall asleep! What do I do?" Hobi's voice rang loudly through Jin's ears, that he had to pull the phone away from his ears.

"What do you mean, you can't sleep, H- oh my god!" Jin suddenly exclaimed and Hobi sighed on the other side of the line.

"What if it's your soulmate, Hobi?" he asked and Hobi tensed up, now wide awake.

There was some tense eerie silence on both sides for a few seconds before Hoseok decided to speak.

"Hyung, please stop bringing that up," he said with a sigh and Jin shook his head.

"He's probably awake right now, Hobi. Try to get some sleep, and if you still can't you'll just have to hope he feels tired and goes to sleep soon," Jin explained and Hobi groaned silently.

"How would I stay awake if he does?" Hoseok asked and Jin chuckled.

"Happy to help! The soulmate bond works that way, Hobi. After the Partial Bonding, both of you can feel each other's emotions and know what the other is feeling. This means that if one of you is awake late at night, the other will have trouble falling asleep," Jin explained and Hobi ran his hands through his soft dark orange hair.

"Someone go drug him with some sleeping pills, please!"

Namjoon, Ara, and Yoongi were music majors but were also part-time underground rappers.

So, currently, Yoongi was in his studio, writing the lyrics for his new song.

Namjoon, on the other hand, was hanging out at their underground location with his soulmate, Park Mina.

Mina was Ara's cousin, who Namjoon met three weeks ago in the very same cafe, back when it was owned by Mrs. Kim, Jin's mother.

Even though they were soulmates, and had already bonded partially, they decided to stay professional for the time being, keeping the last bonding stage for later in life.

"Joon! Are you ready with your part?" a voice called out and Namjoon looked up to see Mina calling out to him.

"Yup!" he answered and walked up to her.

"Okay, let's get started, then! And tomorrow when Ara comes down, she better come with the lyrics right!" another one of their rappers, Choi Seung Cheol, commented out loud.

Namjoon and Mina laughed out loud at that comment, smirking at Seung Cheol, who was also known as S.Coups in the rapper name.

"Yeah, we all know you're always looking for a reason to yell at her," Mina smirked and S.Coups shied away.

"And it's not my fault she gets on my nerves by being so sexy, Rap Monster!" he shrugged as the others chuckled, and oohed.

Namjoon's rapper name was Rap Monster, Mina's was Eve, Yoongi's was Suga, and Ara's was Axis.

These four were the main rappers, and S.Coups was their bandleader. The rest of the members were either instrumentalists or vocal artists.

The next morning, Ara woke up to the alarm and got up to do her daily morning routine.

After getting ready, she got dressed and went down to make breakfast. Suddenly, her phone dinged and she checked what the notification was about.

Reminder: 10:15 am - Pick Taehyun up from the airport!

"Oh man holy shit!" she yelled and ran up the stairs, without bothering to make breakfast.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck, I'm gonna be late!" she muttered to herself as she quickly got dressed into a pair of blue ripped jeans and an olive green loose top.

She brushed her hair and tied it into a high ponytail as she grabbed her car keys and ran out of the house, locking the door behind her.

She drove to the airport just in time and ran in. Looking at the time, she sighed in relief of reaching a few minutes earlier than expected.

"Noona!"

She turned around to see her younger brother running towards her, arms wide open, inviting her into a hug. She smiled heartfully and hugged him tightly.

"Welcome back to Seoul, Taehyun!" she cooed as they rocked each other in their arms, taking in each of their presence.

"How was the school there, Tae?" she asked, patting his back.

"I missed you so much, Noona!" Taehyun pouted onto her shoulder and Ara pulled away with tears in her eyes.

"I missed you too, Tae! And, I'm glad you're back," she said as she placed a soft kiss on his forehead, wrapping her arms around his shoulder.

"You ready to go home, kiddo?" she asked and Tae shook his head, confusing Ara.

"Aniyo!! I wanna see Yoongi hyung and Namjoon hyung first!!" he demanded and Ara chuckled, nodding in approval.
