"Yeah Joon?" she answered the phone as she stepped onto the street sidewalk.

"Ara! Where are you?"

"Uhh... Did you forget that you sent me to drop Tae back home?"

"Ohh, right! No, I didn't forget! It's... uhh... I wanna ask you something!"

"O-okay?"

"What does Mina like?"

"W-what? I- uhh, I don't know. What is this for, Joon?"

"Tomorrow!"

"What's tomorr- ohh, it's her birthday tomorrow!"

"Yeah, what are you gonna get her?"

"You wanna talk about this now? I'm on my way there, pabo!" she chuckled and he sighed.

"Okay okay, fine! Walk faster!"

She rolled her eyes and ended the call.

"You didn't get anything better to talk about, huh?"

"Hehe, sorry Yoongz. I've been thinking of what to get her, but I still can't come up with anything yet. Besides, you asked me to call Ara to see if she's crying, but to be discreet about it. Isn't that exactly what I did?" he cocked an eyebrow and Yoongi rolled his eyes.

The two of them were already at the venue, getting ready for their next song practice. Yoongi knew the whole new soulmate thing was gonna affect her so he couldn't help but worry about her.

He had asked Namjoon to call her up and ask something random to make sure she was happy and wasn't crying.

A while later, the basement door came open and Ara smiled as she spotted her friends.

"Took you so long!" Ara rolled her eyes as she heard Seung Cheol yell for her.

Mina chuckled as she hugged Ara and welcomed her onto the stage.

The rest of the day went by, with the gang rapping, making and producing songs, and going out for food.

Ara, Mina, Namjoon and Yoongi walked back home that night. Namjoon and Mina were talking to each other while Yoongi and Ara walked in silence.

Soon, Yoongi got sick of her silence and spoke up, "What are you thinking about?"

"Huh? M-me? Nothing," she lied.

'Kim Seokjin', her mind kept saying to her.

"No, you've gotta be thinking about something. Stop lying to me, Ara. I'm your best friend, in case you haven't realized yet," he rolled his eyes as he kicked a few rocks ahead.

"I'm not lying, Yoongi. I-I wasn't thinking of anything," she gulped and looked away.

Yoongi scoffed but sighed. "Whatever you say, then."

Ara then decided to change the topic. "What about you? Is it the 'my soulmate ran away when he saw me cause he's straight' thing again?" she chuckled, air-quoting her words. Yoongi hummed, and she swung her arm around his shoulders.

"Maybe he needs time, Yoongz. Don't worry too much about it," she comforted him.

"Hmm, I guess you're right. Speaking of, isn't that what you're going to do? About Seokjin?" he asked, and she sighed.

"I-I don't k-know," her head hung low, and Yoongi chuckled lightly.

"So, I'm guessing, that's what you were thinking about earlier, right?" he cocked an eyebrow, and she huffed.

"H-how the fuck do y-you do that?"

"I can read you like an open book, silly! I can't believe that you still haven't realized that! I mean, we've been best friends since like forever, and you still hide things from me as if I would never find out!" He snapped lightly, and she pouted.

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry. And yes, that was what was stuck in my head for a while now," she confessed.

"Tell him what happened."

"What? Why would I do that?" She gasped, and he shook his head.

"What do you mean, why? He's your soulmate, Ara! If you're going to distance yourself from him, don't you think he deserves to know why you're doing so?"

"I guess you're right then," Ara sighed and ran her hand through her hair in frustration.

"He should understand, Ara. I'm sure he'd want to make a fair effort to get to know you better. He seems nice, to be honest!" Yoongi chuckled and patted her back as she cracked a smile.

"Hyung! Jin hyung!"

Jin gasped and sat up straight at the yelling of his best friend.

"Hyung, get up! Aishh, you fell asleep on the kitchen counter, hyung!" Hobi chuckled, and Jin rubbed his eyes.

"Hobi? What are you doing here? Aigoo, what day is it?" Jin rambled, and Hobi sighed.

"I have an extra key to your house, remember, hyung?" He rolled his eyes as he walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle of cold water.

"What day did you say it was?" Jin asked again. Hobi stopped drinking water and raised an eyebrow at Jin.

"Hyung..." he sighed, "I didn't answer you the first time."

Jin clicked his tongue and got up from the high kitchen chair as he walked towards his room. Hobi stood there, still confused at his hyung's absentmindedness.

"It's a Monday, by the way!"

"Ohh, it's Monday!" Hobi muttered to himself as he realized he had work to do.

"Hyung!" He called out to Jin, "One of our customers' hosting a birthday party at our cafe today!"
