'Not Good'

"Are you calm enough now? I'm sorry that your friends are like this, but we need to talk to you now. We need your statement. You're as much of a valuable witness as they are and since... they're in an uncomfortable position-"

"- You mean barely alive at the hospital?"

[ SIGH ]

"Look, kid, I'm sorry, okay? But I am glad that you are here. So... Can we just go through this? I read some of these, and I actually want to talk about the first part of the manuscript."

"I... the coffee shop? The first time, huh? It was a good part, yeah."

"Yeah, let's talk about it. Specifically, let's talk about Sunny Finch."

"Yes?"

"She wrote all of that? By herself? She profiled an entire person?"

"Yes? I- I don't know if you read the part that her family is literally a bunch of detectives, this is nothing new. But you know, she's young and... yeah. She wants to be just like them. But she's not really good at it, you know?"

"Well she's pretty good at it, if the manuscript's anything to go by... How is she by the way?"
