Part 1: 'The Incident'

"Mornin' love," Greg walked into the kitchen, stretching as he did so.

"Good morning baby," Lexi said while she made breakfast for herself and her husband. Greg walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist; he pecked Lexi's cheek and contentedly rested his chin on her shoulder. They were officially on their honeymoon!

Just the two of them, without all the stress and noise of the city...And Sherlock.

"Mmm... The eggs smell delicious. Funny so do you," Greg hummed burying his nose in the sensitive crook of her neck.

"Greg! Haha, you're gonna make me burn this," Lexi tried to get him to stop tickling her.

"Okay, fine; I'll wait," Greg pouted. He sat back at the island and snuck glances at his wife while thumbing through the newspaper. Once their breakfast was on the table, Lexi noticed that he was smiling at her the whole time they were eating.

"Hm, what?" She chuckled as she sipped her tea.

"Nothing, you're just lovely and I like lookin' at you," He bit into his toast.

She got up and as she picked up his empty plate Lexi kissed Greg's temple, "You are too sweet to me."

He giggled softly and smiled up at his wife as she went and washed the dishes.

                                     *** Later on that evening***

"I'm gonna go take a shower," Lexi said as she made her way up the stairs.

"Oh, well would you mind a little company?" Greg asked, his brow quirking a little mischievously.

Lexi looked at her husband, who just sat there acting as if the question was completely harmless. Despite the innocent tone, Lexi knew exactly what ran through the detective's twisted  mind. That being said, she couldn't resist the images that began running a muck in her head at the suggestion. It had been quite a while since they were intimate.

With Alexia's schooling and photography work and Greg working on these complex cases, sometimes for months at a time, they either didn't have the time or the energy.

"Not at all handsome," she smiled as a grin broke out on her husband's face.

Greg ran ahead of her and got the shower running and Lexi went to make sure the front and back doors were locked.

They were paranoid about locking the door, and not only when they slept. This was because of an incident during the  New Scotland Yard Halloween party which Lexi and Greg had insisted be hosted at their house.

During the party, Greg was chatting with Watson and Sherlock when he caught a glimpse of  Alexia as she appeared to glide down the stairs.

"Greg? Um Greg?" John tried to snap the D.I. out of it but it wasn't working. When he looked to where Greg was staring, he understood what had made his friend stop mid sentence.

"Holy Mary; Lexi looks phenomenal in the outfit," John said as he couldn't help but look at her.

Lexi wore a long, gold silk dress with a short train, no sleeves and an open back and her beautiful curls were adorned with a gold set diamond necklace; she looked as though she'd stepped right out  of The Great Gatsby

Sherlock hummed in agreement with John's comment as he sipped his drink, "Apparently Anderson thinks so as well."

This snapped Greg out of his daze immediately and he looked at Sherlock, "Wait, what?"

Sherlock nodded in the direction of Anderson, the forensic scientist, as he stood next to Lexi as she spoke with Sgt. Donovan. Anderson looked her up and down like he wanted to devour her and he was getting a bit too close for Lexi's liking.

When Greg saw this he was pissed off. About two years ago, Sherlock had deduced an affair between Anderson and Sgt. Donovan along with many failed attempts at hitting on various women in the department. Greg found it annoying at most but this time, Anderson was about to hit on the wrong woman; Greg wasn't afraid to punch Anderson's lights out if he even thought of laying a hand on his wife. However, he took a breath and in an eerily calm manner excused himself and headed over to Lexi.

"You look ravishing Lexi" Anderson said to her as he scanned her from head to toe, making her a bit uneasy. She brushed it off and just politely thanked him before trying to continue her conversation with Sgt. Donovan; he had other ideas. While Lexi went back to her conversation Anderson's hand had begun to move towards her bottom while she wasn't paying close attention.

Thankfully, Greg saw this and he quickly came to Alexia's side before Anderson could even get close to her.

"Hey Sally,"  Greg said as he wrapped an arm around Lexi's waist, "I hate to interrupt but you wouldn't mind if I stole my beautiful bride away for a second would you?"

Sally shook her head, "No problem boss. We'll catch up later ."

Alexia smiled and nodded at Donovan before Greg led her to the stairs, giving Anderson a deadly glare before they went up. Once they got upstairs and down the hall, out of earshot of the guests, Lexi touched Greg's shoulder, "What's wrong ba-"

Luscious lips claimed Alexia's in a heated kiss that made him groan softly into it and for her to moan back in response . Greg pressed her against the wall and wound his arms around his wife's back as she held onto his broad shoulders.

"Do you have any idea how delicious you look?" He nibbled her pulse point a little making Lexi squeal and blush madly, her nails digging into her husband's back with the sudden nipping. Greg let up for a moment, allowing his wife to respond with a small shake of her head.

"Took all my strength not to just take ya right in front o' everyone, Mrs. Lestrade," Greg's West Country accent came out as he got more turned on. This made Alexia whimper and arch against him, her leg moving up to hitch around his waist.

"Ngh! U-uhh Greg" she moaned shakily against Greg's neck to try and muffle herself and make sure they wouldn't be discovered like this. Thank God the music and ambient noise seemed to provide cover for them, because no seemed to even notice that they were absent from the party.

Greg kept one hand on her lower back as the other slid under her dress to hold her quivering thigh around his hip, "Ye like that don't you darling? Anderson could never make you feel like this ey?"

His jealously came out and it made Alexia feel kind of turned on and sad at the same time; however being turned on by it won out for now. She squeezed her thigh around Greg's hip to pull his clothed crotch closer to hers as she rolled her hips, "Hah, ugh n-never"

" Agh, God I love your legs: so long and soft. I love how they pull me against you and make me thrust harder inside you."

He pulled her flush against him and began to grind his hips harder into Lexi's, making her gasp and groan: "U-ungh! Fuck baby..."

She ran her fingers through his thick hair and lightly tugged on it as Greg whispered and growled huskily in her ear. Before she could even form another sentence, Greg's lips were back on hers in a fierce but loving kiss. He grabbed her thighs, picked her up and carried her off to their room quickly.

Unfortunately, the guests had started to worry about what happened to the D.I. and his wife; they'd been gone for quite a bit.

"Where'd they go? It's been almost two hours," Mary asked John and Sherlock as she looked down at her watch. John gave her a shrug and Sherlock suggested that Greg had started to feel jealous of everyone ogling his wife and that's what he wanted to talk to her about privately which probably led to them sneaking off to the bedroom and abandoning the party altogether.

At this John and Molly both blushed to varying degrees and Mary just chuckled at them, "Oh don't get so flustered you two! Greg and Lexi are married and let's face it, they didn't get to have a proper honeymoon since a certain Consulting Detective dragged Greg on a case the minute the reception ended," Mary said crossing her arms and looking right at Sherlock who just swirled his drink around avoiding eye contact.

"What? It was an extremely important case and we needed Graham." At this John sighed and rolled his eyes and Molly just shook her head.

"You still don't get the whole 'sentiment' thing do you Sherlock?" John asked his friend sarcastically. Before Sherlock could comment, there was a loud bang heard from upstairs which made the others concerned; at least those who could hear and weren't drunk out of their minds.

"What the hell was that?" John asked

"Probably just a lamp or something; no need to worry," Sherlock said wanting to avoid even thinking about what Lestrade and Alexia were doing; he could always deduce when the D.I. had been intimate with his wife and it just made Sherlock's skin crawl. However, the other three were worried that one of them might have gotten hurt in the heat of a moment.

"Sherlock, that was a pretty loud bang; they might be seriously hurt," Molly chimed in.

"She's right; let's just see if they're alright," John insisted as he and the ladies headed up the stairs. Sherlock groaned softly and rolled his eyes as he trailed behind the three as they headed towards the master bedroom.

John knocked on the door three times, "Greg, Lexi are you guys alright? We heard a bang downstairs." He waited a moment and got no reply, leading him to knock again, "Greg! Lexi!"

Again this was met with silence and it made the others really worried for their friends. John then tried the door and found that it was unlocked, "Okay we're coming in," John said as he opened the door. The group walked into the dimly lit bedroom to see a lamp on the floor and...

To make a long story longer, the four had barged in at the worst possible time!

"AHH! What the-" Lexi yelled and pulled the blankets over herself and Greg as they both scrambled to cover up.

"JOHN?! What the bloody hell are you doing?!" Greg yelled at the four as he wrapped himself and Lexi up in the sheets.

Sherlock explained the whole thing to the beyond embarrassed couple, which only embarrassed them further. Lexi covered her bright red face with her hands before sighing, " Well, thank you for being concerned. Now please, get the hell out."

John and Mary laughed and nodded as Sherlock quickly left and Molly followed behind him blushing heavily.

"Have fun you two and we'll see you," Mary and John walked out and closed the door behind them.

Thankfully at the station everyone was discreet about the whole situation. Granted, they all  made very little eye-contact for roughly a month after that.
