IMPORTANT READ A/N!!!
a/n: Can you believe I made it this far? I want to thank so many people but I can't because too much space. Plus, we still have a five more chapters after this. After this is completed I will be moving it to my second account, MyUsernameBeatsYours, and I will be writing the second book on that account. I don't want to fill up my main account with too much stuff so if you see my book posted by that username, don't accuse of stealing. We're the same person! I will keep it on this account, but I will also put it on that account. Now, to the chapter!
NOT READ THROUGH BECAUSE I NEED SLEEP AFTER MY HORRIBLE/REALLY GOOD WEEK. (horrible because I came to conclusion I really don't have any friends and there's no exaggeration and good because my mom got two free tickets to see Mockingjay pt. 2 on Wednesday at a prescreening -meaning I saw it before it actually came out and it was legal and I got free food and a really cool Mockingjay pin-)XD
"Are you sure you guys are fine? Everything is in it's place?" Sophie looked around, before staring back at them.
"Sophie, we're fine. Go home," Fitz said, pushing her out the door.
"You sure?" She looked at Ashla, who nodded.
"Let me rephrase this. Please leave," Fitz started to beg.
"What did I do?" She asked, glaring.
"You've been here for eight hours."
"Keefe stays at my house for fifteen hours a day, sometime," she defended, crossing her arms.
"Sophie."
"Fine, fine. I feel the love." She started to make large gestures with her arms. She looked back at them with longing when she left, but they just stood there rolling their eyes.
"Oh good, you stopped bugging them," Edaline greeted her when she returned.
"What do you mean?"
"They just got married last week and still haven't had any alone time because of the help needed with moving in and today they were finally going to just be alone when you came over and never left." She shook her head, sighing. "Let them be tomorrow. They just want to be alone."
"All they did was get married. It's not like they're having kids or anything."
"With you over their house as much as you are they'll never have the chance to have kids," she muttered under her breath.
Sophie walked away, pretending she was listening. "Remember the thing tomorrow!"
She walked upstairs and laid down on her bed, thinking of her friends. They were all progressing in life and she was still there, life being the same as before. The only difference was that she was in love with someone in love with her. In her relationship with Keefe there was no room for exciting surprises, and she didn't like that.
They saw each other everyday and always knew what was going. For her friends, it was different. Dex could just show up at Biana's door uninvited and she'll be happy and surprise, but for Sophie Keefe did that almost all the time.
She sighed, deep in thought. She would worry about this tomorrow.
___
"Go away."
"Come on, I really want to see!"
"I'm trying to sleep."
"I'll love you forever and ever!"
"I don't even know if I should. You're not a telepath."
"You know you can. You're lying."
"Aren't I supposed to feel guilt while lying?" She asked, sitting up in her bed. She brushed her hair out of her face and glared at him.
He rolled his eyes. "Please! All I want to know if they're okay," he said, holding his hands up in defense.
She sighed. Silveny? she transmitted.
Friend! Sophie! Friend! She got an immediate response.
How's Sophia? She asked, smiling. Keefe started to ask, but she shh-ed him, holding her arm up.
Sophia! Baby! Sophia! Sophie smiled.
Is she good?
Baby! Healthy!
Sophie nodded even though Silveny wouldn't see her. Thank you, Silveny. Bye.
Silveny transmitted Sophie a few images of the alicorn baby, Sophia, before she felt her leave her mind.
"So?"
"So, they're fine and there's no reason to get out of bed and visit them," she said, laying back down and snuggling Ella.
"You're no fun."
"Thanks, I try really hard," she mumbled, not paying attention.
He jumped on the bed and wrapped one arm around her. "Well if you're sleeping I get to sleep too."
She opened one eye to see he was being completely serious. After getting over the initial shock, she mumbled out an unintelligible response and went back to sleep. He grinned in victory, pulling the covers over himself before falling asleep as well.
___
"You've got to be kidding me."
"Should we wake them up?"
"I wish I could take a picture, but I don't have my camera."
"Damn, why can't we have the photographic memories like them. This would go into a memory scrapbook, it really would."
Hushed whispers surrounded them, waking Sophie up. She moaned, sitting up. After stretching she looked up to see Dex, Biana, Ashla, and Fitz looking at her and Keefe. She rolled her eyes as they stared at her as if she just caught them stealing from a cookie a cookie jar.
"Seriously?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Why are you guys sleeping in the same bed?" Fitz asked, whispering so Keefe wouldn't wake up.
"He came over early this morning but I was tired and told him to go away but he started talking and annoying before jumping on my bed then crawled in with me when I wouldn't wake up and go and then we both fell asleep," she explained, thinking about how she probably told the story wrong.
"That's so cute!" Ashla gushed.
"Hey, you live with Fitz," Sophie said in a defending tone.
"We're married," she deadpanned.
"That's beside the point. . . What is the point?" She looked at Keefe. "Yeah, wake up." She starting poking his face but he only frowned. :Must you always be so hard?" She took in a deep sigh before pushing him off the bed.
"What the. . . ?" He jumped up, and looked around. "That hurt."
"Good." She turned to her friends. "Why are you here?"
"Well, me and Fitz got bored and went to Biana and Dex-"
"-and we already planned our double date," Biana finished.
"Want to have a triple date?" Dex asked, smiling slightly.
Sophie sighed. "I'm just going to get changed and pretend you guys never saw me in my PJs." She nodded at them all before walking away, frowning.
Once she was gone they all turned to Keefe.
"Are you still going to do it?" Biana asked.
"Do what?" He asked, sitting down on Sophie's bed.
"Propose, you idiot!" She picked up Ella and threw her at his head.
"Hey, don't bring the elephant into this!" He defended, picking Ella up and putting her back on Sophie's pillow.
"You're avoiding."
"Yep."
"Why?"
"Because I want it to be a surprise, that's why," he said, folding his arms.
"But why?" She whined, sitting down on Sophie's desk chair.
"Yeah, the girls need to know when so Sophie can be prepared for it without actually knowing she's prepared."
"That's exactly why. I don't want her to 'be prepared'. It would ruin it," he said, shaking his head. "You're not going to get it out of me."
"Dang. Why must you be so stubborn?" Ashla mumbled.
"Hey, I told you about proposing to Ashla," Fitz said, sitting next to Keefe. "I ton't tell the girls, trust me."
"You told everyone you were proposing to Ashla, Fitz. Even I was told," Dex said, scoffing.
Fitz glared at him. "Don't you want to know?"
"Know what?" Sophie asked, appearing in the doorway.
"Nevermind, nobodies going to be told anyways," Biana said, dismissing it. "You all ready?"
They all nodded and left, Keefe's mind trialing over what they were asking. When was he going to do it? How was he going to do it?
