IT WAS THE YEAR 2038 and androids had taken over the world. Or, at least, it's what people like to say. Despite the fact that androids were created to assist human beings, some had strayed too far from their programming and become deviant. It caused a frenzy all over the world and especially, Detroit, where androids seemed to deviant the most. Detective Marisol Mercado was still considered a newbie at Detroit Police Department when she and her unwilling partner, Lieutenant Hank Anderson, had been assigned to the deviant cases. Along with the cases, they were given an android—a new prototype named Connor—to assist them on cases.

It wasn't a big deal at first—everything was more or less the same. Marisol continued to her work as she always did, secretly hoping that the Captain will consider her request to change partners. Hank continued to come in late, drink, and complain about how much he hated androids. And, Connor was just an android trying to accomplish his mission. However, things quickly change within the trio and Detroit as they continue their investigation into deviant androids and the inevitable Android Revolution.

NOTE.
So, recently, I replayed Detroit: Become Human and I went in love with the characters all over again — especially Connor. I adore him with all my heart and I really wanted to write him a fic! And, I know, I know, that the OC being a detective and teaming up with Connor + Hank is such an overused plot. TRUST ME, I know. I have read so many fics on Tumblr & AO3 that had the same concept, but I don't care. I love the idea of the OC working with Hank and Connor, so I'm going to do it too! Though, I will be pulling my own twists and I have a lot of other ideas to put into the story as well!

I will follow the "Good Path" of the game because that's the one that I played, but it's going to be a very very bumpy road! I am excited to explore more areas of the universe that may have not been in the book and I am so excited to share it all with you, guys! I truly hope that you guys enjoy this book because I am so so excited to write it! ☺️
