after sending the last message to the group chat, yun clicked her phone off and slid it in her back pocket as she sipped on a cold drink in her hands. she and jeno took a trip to the university café after their classes, walking through campus together after spending time there.

they were admittedly hanging out a lot together, but yun slowly realized they lived almost identical lives despite jeno not having it as hard, it was still like he understood everything she went through. their conversations consisted mostly of complaining about their parents, and gushing about ren and jaemin to each other, knowing they'd never get the guts to confess to their crushes.

"is jaemin really not into hook ups?" the girl asked curiously, the thought not leaving her mind after reading the message haechan sent.

the sun beamed on their bodies, yun shielding her eyes from it as she turned to jeno, awaiting his response. "i guess not, i don't know. i mean as far as i know i've never heard any stories of him having one night stands or anything like that."

she had no idea why the idea of sleeping with jaemin without dating him was so off. she never had any problems with it, maybe she was finally deciding that she genuinely grew romantic feelings for him and it didn't feel right treating him like some useless one night stand.

yun opened her mouth to speak again, immediately getting cut off when she felt a body collide with her own, almost dropping her iced drink to the ground. a small gasp left her lips as she lifted her eyes to see who exactly it was she bumped into, getting ready to apologize.

"shit, my bad," the girl laughed, voice anything but sincere as she looked at yun. "oh, i know you! you're the chick who lost her shit over hyunjin at that party. remember?"

laughter erupted from her and the two girls behind her, neither yun or jeno finding it funny whatsoever. yun internally cringed, remembering all too vividly her tipsy self introducing herself to her as the girl who was in hooking up with hyunjin.

"eunjoo, was it? yeah, i really don't care about him i don't even know what i was thinking—"

"girl, i get it, someone as fine as him i wouldn't let go either," she said once she'd calmed down, "you're kinda close with the neos by the way, aren't you?"

jeno, who stood silently watching the interaction go down, almost let out a snicker at the sentence but managed to keep it between his lips as yun looked at eunjoo in confusion. "uh, no, not really."

"c'mon, basically everyone knows that you and jaehyun are like best friends, you've hooked up with him haven't you?" she'd clearly gotten too comfortable now, shoving yuns shoulder and asking unbelievably inappropriate questions as if they'd been friends for years.

yuns deadpanned expression didn't change, only further frowning into both confusion and irritation at this point. when she didn't say anything for a moment, jeno grew nervous as the girls continued to push the conversation.

"that's really... none of your business.." he muttered hesitantly, just loud enough for only them to hear.

eunjoos eyes finally panned over to the boy, the first time she was even acknowledging him. "we're just playing, calm down. literally every girl on campus would kill to be in her shoes."

not if they knew how the neos actually are, yun thought to herself. snapping out of her thoughts, she couldn't even fake that she was interested in anything she had to say. "sure, good talk, we're leaving now."

eunjoo wasn't able to get another word out when yun quickly grasped onto jenos wrist and lead them away from the disaster of an interaction. she could hear faint laughter from them even when they were too far away, only making yun grow even more irritated.

"fucking assholes, honestly," she huffed, walking through campus faster than usual, jeno struggling to even keep up, "you don't ask shit like that to someone you don't even know. did she think i was gonna be all like 'oh yeah, we definitely slept together, i'll put in a good word for you too so you can be next!' is she serious?"

"do they harass every other girl the neos interact with?"

"what better way to find out than to ask them myself?"
