"yes, mom, classes are fine so far," yun urged through the phone to her mother, who insisted on calling her everyday to check up.

the girl was putting on makeup, getting ready to go to a party to get shit-faced, while also telling her dear mother that she was doing just fine on her own. it was the fact that her mom would definitely go into cardiac arrest if she were to ever found out, that made the situation so crazy.

"yep. bye." she placed her phone on her bed after the call was finally wrapped up, then going to finish lining her eyes with eyeliner.

"i'm kinda nervous," danbi admitted from the other side of the room, doing her own makeup, yun pausing to turn around with a smirk at her friend.

"don't worry, we'll drink it away, anyways."

after putting lipgloss on her lips, yun decided she was done with her hair and got up to change. she kept it simple with jeans and a black tube top, because it was just a college party and there was absolutely no reason to get anymore dressed up than that. as she examined herself in the mirror, the door to their dorm opened.

"what's up, bitches." ren greeted with a grin, looking as if she'd already been drinking before they even got to the party.

"holy shit, are you already drunk?" yun laughed as her friend practically threw herself in her arms.

"no. just loosened up, i took a pregame shot or two." the older admitted with a goofy grin. ren was a quiet person, always deemed as coldhearted because she hated human interaction. however, once she was drunk, that quiet girl was nowhere to be seen.

yun was practically the same way, especially since most of the kids in school bullied her into almost never speaking unless spoken to. it was sad, and she's still learning to grow out of it.

danbi was the complete opposite of the two of them. ren and yun still to this day wonder how danbi ever willingly became friends with the pair, but never complained. danbi was so outgoing and social, it was almost scary how quickly she got along with pretty much everyone. yun had always been so envious of how easy it was for her to make friends.

"okay, i'm ready," danbi ruffled her hair one last time in her mirror, popping her lips before grabbing her phone and keys, seeing as she was the only one of the three that had a car.

ren didn't waste a second running out of the room, yun following close behind as they left the building and entered danbis car. yun got into the passangers side, immediately grasping the aux cord to play music.

"oh, turn this shit up," ren leaned forward a bit, pointing to the volume knob as 'thot shit' by megan thee stallion began playing. yun laughed aloud at her friends reaction and turned the volume up just before the max as danbi began driving.

they yelled the lyrics together, allowing more songs to play up until they reached their destination. they were fashionably late, so there was already people even outside, holding cups, smoking, and talking.

yun was shockingly not feeling nervous, as she'd already been to so many parties with people she didn't even know, and this one was no different. the only thing that was different, was she didn't have the fear of being caught by her parents lingering in the back of her mind.

they got out of the car and walked inside hand in hand, loud music hugging their ears and the smell of loud filling their noses. ren was immediately feeling hyped up, wanting quickly to go grind on some stranger, but stayed put.

"drinks?" yun asked, urging with her eyes to get alcohol in her system. danbi silently agreed and the three of them went to grab drinks together. yun poured liquid into three cups and handed her friends theirs, while she drank her own.

she took a minute to look around at the people around her, no faces looking familiar. something was so intimidating about being surrounded by complete strangers. not even just referring to the party, but also the fact that she was no longer around the same classmates she spent most of her life with.

it would be kind of comforting to see a familiar face—

"funny seeing you guys here." as if on cue, the trio turned their heads to the voice to be faced with none other than zhong chenle. danbi looked as if she'd just seen a ghost, ren was completely unbothered and just wanting to drink.

"oh, hi!" danbi sputtered. chenle flashed a cute smile to her.

"it felt weird not saying hi to people i went to school with, so," he said, "how was your summer?"

"good! great, even!" danbi replied, maybe just too enthusiastically. ren and yun looked at each other, almost breaking out into laughter.

chenle looked surprised, "really? that's great!"

"wow... you guys are so not over each other." ren finally said, unable to hold in her commentary. the exes cheeks went red at the same time, danbi clearing her throat and looking away.

"i'm gonna get back to my friends." chenle said, not allowing them to bid him goodbye before he walked away himself.

danbi couldn't possibly get angry at her friends, she wasn't the type to be mad. she was more embarrassed than anything. "i can't believe you said that."

"i'm sorry! it's too obvious," ren replied as she brushed the girls hair out of her face lovingly, "wait, if he's here, that means the rest of the cult are here."

yun snickered at her calling them a cult before allowing ren to continue. "i need to go look hot. let's go."

without even getting to think, ren was pulling her two best friends out to dance. danbi wasn't really the dancing type, only swaying back and forth and only when she was with the other two. on the other hand, yun and ren weren't afraid to go all out on each other. they would usually need a couple drinks but it wasn't long until yuns back was pressed against rens stomach while they danced together.

danbi couldn't hold back laughter as she watched her tipsy friends sway their hips together sensually and sing the lyrics to whatever provocative song was playing. yun noticed her friend shyly moving next to them, so she grabbed onto her arm and pulled her into herself so the three of them were dancing together.

"i said hi to danbi... and yun," chenle laughed when he approached the rest of his group after the awkward encounter.

jeno, who was leaned against the kitchen counter, raised his eyebrows in surprise. "she's here? are you sure that was her?"

"obviously it was her bro, danbi and that other girl are here too. they're best friends." chenle replied, grabbing his own drink.

"don't tell haechan. he might lose it." mark joked.

haechan had been somewhere else in the party, being the social butterfly he is. the other six remained together and talked casually while drinking. renjun was teasing jisung nonstop about how he refused to drink, and jisung swore he was doing just fine at a party with no alcohol in his system.

mark looked down at his phone for a minute, before looking back up with his face twisted in disgust. "hyuck just told me he needs a condom..."

back to the three musketeers, ren noticed some guy who seemed to not be able to keep his eyes away from her best friend. she spun yun around and whispered to her that she was being looked at. the girl subtly turned her head and instantly found the guy she was talking about.

"he's so cute, stop," yun gushed to her friend.

"who? who is?" danbi joined when she heard the conversation. the two girls gestured her to the guy that now caught their attention. once she spotted him, the look on her face said she also found him cute.

"look at me," ren told yun, fixing her friends hair and making sure she didn't look crazy before she was about to go swoop this guy off of his feet. when ren gave her the okay, yun spun around and began walking in the direction of the guy.

she could see a grin grow on his face as he watched her approach him, immediately fully twisting his body in her direction.

"hi, i'm yun, you are?" it was definitely the alcohol talking right now. yun knew herself that she was only this confident when she'd been drinking, and she wasn't complaining about it.

"hwang hyunjin, nice to meet you." he replied with a smooth tone, making the girl almost weak in her knees.

"hwang hyunjin, you seemed to have taken an interest in me over there so i'm asking you to dance."

the boy was astonished at the boldness, and found it overwhelmingly attractive. there was no way he was going to reject. "absolutely."

at this point yun was grinning from ear to ear, teeth and all, putting her arms over his shoulders while his rested on her waist comfortably. their eyes oozed with lust as they looked at each other. yun eventually got too shy, turning her body but making sure his hands remained on her hips.

he was close enough so she could feel his warm breath on her neck, making goosebumps grow all over her body. temptation was rising, and she couldn't believe she was grinding on a stranger not even a week into her college experience.

after another minute of dancing, hyunjin removed his hands from her hips and gently grabbed her hand, pulling her away. yun allowed it, and was silently hoping they'd move somewhere more secluded. adrenaline flowed throughout her body and an excited grin formed on her face as they found their way to a bathroom.

the boy wasted no time pushing her against the door as it shut behind them, putting his lips on hers. neither of them cared that they were both drunk and didn't even know each other, they were both there for one reason and one reason only.

yuns fingers were tangled in his hair, and his hands roamed her body mindlessly. i don't need to hold your hand and walk you through whatever happens next, right?
