just as hyunjin sent the last message, yun was already inside of her dorm changing into new clothes. she quickly brushed her teeth and washed her face, preparing herself for the conversation they were about to have. she didn't even get the chance to get comfortable when there was a knock on her door.

she dragged her feet along the floor as she went to let hyunjin inside, dreadful. she opened the door and he stood on the other side, looking at her with his hands shoved in his pockets. neither of them said anything as she moved to the side to allow him inside. he quickly made himself comfortable by sitting on her bed while yun took danbis bed, too annoyed to sit next to him.

"you're that mad at me you can't even sit on your own bed?" he asked, eyebrows slightly raised.

"as i was saying over text," yun replied, ignoring the question. "i was ignoring you because i was confused about my feelings towards you. i've never had real feelings for someone and i can barely tell the difference between platonic and romantic."

hyunjin bit his lip, not expecting such an honest answer. "alright. but you could have just said that, and i would've understood. are you still confused about your feelings towards me?"

"i don't think so. i think i like you better as just a friend i can occasionally sleep with. but that doesn't mean i have to tell you when i sleep with someone else."

he pursed his lips, "didn't i tell you i don't share?"

"yeah, and didn't i tell you i don't give a fuck? what are you gonna do about it? are you gonna stop fucking me?" yun shot back, surprising herself with the attitude.

hyunjin didn't say anything for a minute, just a stupid arrogant smirk forming on his lips. "probably not."

"alright then. problem solved, asshole."

this time he laughed at her response, having almost enjoying seeing her get so pissed off over him. he opened his mouth and got ready to say something else when there was a knock at yuns door. she looked at the door, then to hyunjin, confused.

"you expecting company?" he whispered, yun shaking her head. when neither of them moved to answer it, there was another knock, along with a voice on the other side.

"yunyeong? are you home?"

that voice, that way too familiar of a voice. yuns heart practically dropped to her stomach at the sound of it. hyunjin was very confused, and when there was another moment of silent, another three knocks followed soon after.

"shit." yun whispered, standing up. "i need you to lock yourself in the bathroom."

"...what?"

"i said, lock yourself in the bathroom. like now. right this second." she urged. confused, hyunjin didn't further question it and did as told. after the bathroom door was fully closed, yun smoothed out her hair and clothes, preparing to face her parents.

when she finally opened the door, there they were. "hi.."

her mothers face lit up, not wasting another second to pull her into a tight hug. it hadn't even been a full month since she left for school, but her mom was acting like it's been centuries.

"oh, i missed you so much! how are classes doing?"

"they're—"

she was cut off by her parents pushing past her to fully enter her dorm. yuns heart rate sped up at how close they were to hyunjin, and unbelievably afraid that they'd open the door and find him.

"oh, my, this room needs to be cleaned," her mom sighed. yun wanted to roll her eyes. the place wasn't even bad as is, just messy beds and a few clothing items on the floor. it's take less than five minutes to fix that.

"but, how are classes, honestly?"

"um," how about, how i'm doing? you know, your daughter? "they're fine, yeah."

"you don't have class today?"

"no." yes.

"perfect! let's go to brunch and chat."

"oh! i mean, i do have class.. later. pretty soon. and then i have a lot of studying so, you should head out."

her moms face dropped, "oh, okay. i know you're studying hard so, it's okay, sweetheart. i should use the bathroom before i go—"

"no. no, our uh, our toilet is broken. it's super broke. like, bad." she probably sounded crazy and suspicious at that moment, but she refused to let her parents see what's on the other side of that door. she'd be completely done for if they found out she was hiding a guy in her dorm.

"is it? have you told your school about it?"

"yes, and someone will be here to fix it tomorrow, so don't worry about it." yun spoke quickly, eager to get her parents out of her room. "there's a public bathroom right outside the building."

she was finally able to push her parents out of the dorm, them not being able to get another word out before the door was closed practically in their faces. she fully made sure to keep her ear against the door, listening to their footsteps until they were far enough before letting out a big sigh.

she never gave hyunjin the okay to leave the room, so he took it upon himself to open the door to find her looking way too stressed. "were those your parents?"

"yes, hyunjin, use context clues."
