when danbi arrived back from her lunch date, hyunjin was just leaving their dorm. she wasn't surprised, but thankful her friend remembered to make him leave before she came home.

she opened the door giddily, practically skipping over to yuns bed, which earned a look and a laugh from her. "i take it the date went well?"

"it was so fun. i don't think he considers it a date, but it was to me." she squealed, flopping down next to her roommate and wrapping her arms around her. danbi wasn't usually a clingy, touchy person, so this is how yun knew she was in a good mood.

"what did you even talk about?"

"we just caught up on everything that happened after we broke up. it literally just felt so normal, and like, comfortable. i don't know." the girl replied.

yun grinned at seeing her friend so happy. even though she previously talked hella shit about chenle, she was actually rooting for the two to get back together.

"but anyways, you and... party guy?" danbi then said, referring to hyunjin, just not knowing his name yet.

yun turned her head, looking to danbi who was already looking up at her. "hyunjin? what about him?"

"you like him?"

"damn, i have no idea. i'm cool with the friends with benefits right now, but like everytime we finish, we cuddle and shit. he like, asks me about myself and we get pretty deep into the conversation. i don't know what the fuck i'm feeling."

yun has never had a boyfriend, not having ever had romantic feelings for anyone. she could barely tell the difference between platonic and romantic. it's not like she did it on purpose, she's never met someone who makes her feel comfortable and vulnerable. the closest she's seen to a genuine relationship was danbi and chenle. not even her own parents.

"it's too soon to fully tell, anyway," danbi said, knowing her friend had trouble expressing her feelings.

"did i tell you lee haechan texted me earlier?"

danbis head shot up, then the rest of her body, looking down at yun in confusion. "no? did he actually?"

"yep! look," the girl grabbed her phone from next to her, opening up their messages from hours prior and handing it to danbi. she read the short conversation quickly, laughter escaping her mouth as she got to the end.

"he's so weird," she giggled, handing the phone back. "dude, what if they were saying the same thing i was saying? like how i said we should get to know them, i bet they said the same about us."
