CHAPTER TWO, a little late night adventure
With that in mind, Anastasia flopped onto her bed and stared at the ceiling, a wide grin on her face. When her phone buzzed, she reached over to grab it, her smile widening and her heart fluttering at seeing who the text was from. It was from her secret boyfriend, Lance Wilson.
Lance Wilson was your typical bad boy: two years older, known for wearing black outfits with his signature leather jacket, sometimes having rebellious attitude, and the motorcycle that roared down the quiet streets of their small town. He was everything her parents warned her about, and everything that made her heart race. But, the real kicker was, he was the quarterback of the football team, the golden boy of their town. Despite him being your typical bad boy, he was honestly a real sweetheart and always treated her right. He was also usually a gentleman despite his bad boy image, which only added to his allure.
She had met him at a party during the summer, and the two had hit it off instantly. He and his band had been playing at the party, and Anastasia had found herself drawn to his magnetic presence on stage. She had been captivated by his charisma, his confidence, and the way he moved to the rhythm of the music as if he owned the stage. Lance had noticed her in the crowd, his gaze lingering on her longer than was strictly necessary. When the band had finished their set, he had made a beeline for her, his smile charming and his eyes twinkling with mischief. started dating in secret a few weeks late r, and their relationship was still going strong.
Since then, they had shared countless secret rendezvous, stolen kisses in hidden corners, and whispered promises under the cover of darkness. Anastasia felt alive in Lance's presence, like she was finally experiencing the kind of love she had only read about in books or seen in movies. He made her feel beautiful, cherished, and understood in a way no one else ever had. Plus, she loved the idea of having a secret boyfriend, the thought of him being hers and hers alone sent a thrill down her spine.

Hey, angel. Missing you already. Wanna meet up tonight?
Anastasia grinned, her heart racing at the prospect of seeing him. But then she remembered tomorrow was the first day back to school and she chewed on her lower lip nervously.
Angel🌞💗
I can't tonight. School starts tomorrow, remember?

School's never stopped you before ;)
Anastasia bit her lip, her mind racing. She thought about the past weekend with Marcus, the warmth and safety of his arms, the comfort of their shared memories. But there was something intoxicating about Lance's bad boy charm, something thrilling that drew her to him. She sighed, torn between the two worlds she was living in. She thought it over, weighing her options. She hadn't seen him in awhile, and she did miss him. Maybe a little rendezvous before school started wouldn't hurt...
Angel🌞💗
You've convinced me, handsome. See you at our usual spot?

Always, angel. See you soon <3
She grinned, her heart fluttering with excitement. She quickly slipped her shoes on and walked to her bay window with her phone in hand, her mind buzzing with anticipation. She made sure it looked like she was sleeping in bed and snuck out of her window carefully. She and Lance would normally meet up a few blocks away where he would wait for her at his motorcycle. She had been hesitant to ride on the bike at first because she never rode one before, but once she did, she loved it and always looked forward to their rides.
It was a short walk, but the night air was cold, the chill biting at her skin. It made her realize she forgot her jacket, but she wasn't going to turn back. Lance was waiting for her, and the thought of being with him again filled her with anticipation. She spotted his bike parked a few feet away thanks to the street light from where they usually met, and her heart skipped a beat. Lance was leaning against his motorcycle, looking as effortlessly cool as ever. His leather jacket glistened under the streetlight, his hair slicked back, and his signature smirk played on his lips as he caught sight of her.
"Hey, angel," He greets, his voice smooth and warm as he reached out to pull her into a tight embrace. "Missed you."
"Missed you too." She replied, her voice muffled by his shoulder.
He pulls back slightly, his eyes taking her in. "You look gorgeous, as always." He murmurs, his hands sliding down to her waist as he admires her outfit. She wore a simple yet stylish outfit, a pink blouse, blue ripped jeans, and white vans. She wore a matching necklace and earrings too. "Aren't you cold, though?"
(anastasia's outfit for this chapter, this is also what she wore at the end of the first chapter)
"A little," She admits with a shy smile. "But, I'll be fine." Her heart warms when he pulled away to slide his leather jacket around her shoulders, the warmth and scent of it enveloping her like a comforting embrace. She smiles gratefully at him, feeling a rush of affection for this boy who always knew how to make her feel special. The leather jacket was clearly too big for her and reached her thighs, but she loved it. She immediately felt the warmth of the leather and the scent of his cologne. "Thanks," She said softly, leaning into him as they stood there, his fingers hooking into the loops of her jeans to gently tug her closer. Butterflies swarm her stomach at the sweet action. "So, baby, where are we going tonight?" She asked, a playful glint in her eyes as she leaned in closer to him.
Lance smirks, his arm slipping around her waist as he guided her towards his motorcycle. "It's a surprise, angel," He replies, his voice low and teasing. "But I promise, you're gonna love it."
Anastasia felt a thrill of excitement coursing through her veins when he handed her a spare helmet. She grins at him, placing the helmet on her head and buckling it securely. "Alright, baby. Let's go." She said, her voice slightly muffled by the helmet.
Lance chuckles, smiling fondly at her. He helps her on the bike - he knows she can get on it no problem now, but he's a gentleman - and hops on himself. "Hold on tight, angel." He told her, starting the bike and revving the engine.
She wraps her arms around his waist, her chest pressed against his back as they took off into the night. The wind whipped around them, the cool night air a sharp contrast to the heat of the motorcycle's engine. She felt the thrumming power of the bike beneath her, the rumble of the engine echoing through her bones. She held onto him tighter, her cheek pressed against his back as she relished the familiar and comforting scent of his leather jacket. She closed her eyes, letting herself relax as they drove through the night, the lights of the town blurring by.
As they rode through the streets, Anastasia couldn't help but feel alive, the rush of adrenaline coursing through her veins. She loved the feeling of freedom that came with riding on the back of Lance's motorcycle, the sense of adventure and excitement that filled her soul. It was a stark contrast to her normal life, a welcome escape from the constraints of her everyday routine.
"Having fun, angel?" Lance asked, his voice slightly muffled by the wind. She almost didn't hear his muffled voice, but he had reached his hand back to place his hand on the back of her leg, gently squeezing it in reassurance.
Anastasia grins beneath her helmet, her heart racing with exhilaration. "Yeah, I'm having a blast!" She shouted back, her voice filled with excitement.
Lance chuckles, the sound carrying over the roar of the engine. "Good," He replied, his grip on the handlebars tightening as they turned a corner. "Because we're almost there."
Anastasia's curiosity peaked at his words, her heart pounding with anticipation. She leaned closer to him, her body pressed against his as they rode through the night. She couldn't wait to see where he was taking her, the thrill of the unknown sending shivers down her spine and excitement coursing through her veins. As they continued on their journey, Anastasia couldn't help but marvel at the world around her. The cool breeze tousled her hair, the scent of the night air filled her lungs, and the sounds of the city enveloped her senses. Every moment felt like an adventure, every twist and turn of the road a new discovery waiting to be uncovered.
After a few more minutes of riding, Lance finally slowed down, pulling to a stop in front of an old abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. Anastasia's eyes widened in surprise as she took in their surroundings, the dimly lit building looming ominously in the darkness. It was a place she had never been before, and the thought of exploring it with Lance sent a thrill of excitement coursing through her veins. Graffiti covered the walls, the paint peeling and fading from age. It was clearly abandoned, and Anastasia wondered why Lance had brought her here.
"Come on, angel. We're almost there." He told her after turning off the engine. He took his helmet off and hung it on the handlebars, then helped her take her helmet off and hang it next to his. He got off his bike, helping her get off the bike too.
Anastasia felt the cool night air on her cheeks, the sound of the crickets chirping in the background filling her ears. The moonlight shone brightly, illuminating their surroundings. Lance offered his hand and she took it, interlacing their fingers as they walked towards the building. She could feel the metal rings he wore pressing against her skin, the sensation sending a shiver down her spine. He led her around the back of the warehouse, the darkness enveloping them like a cloak.
"Where are we going?" Anastasia asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.
"You'll see, angel." Lance replied, his tone teasing as he shot her a mischievous grin, squeezing her hand reassuringly.
They finally came across an old rusty door and Lance kicked it open with ease, the sound echoing through the night. They entered the building and Anastasia's eyes widened in amazement. The place was huge and filled with all sorts of graffiti art, the walls covered in vibrant colors and intricate designs. The space was dimly lit, the moonlight filtering in through broken windows casting eerie shadows across the floor. Anastasia couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder as she took in her surroundings, the adrenaline coursing through her veins. She had never seen anything like this before, and the thought of exploring the place with Lance sent a rush of excitement coursing through her veins.
"What is this place?" She asked, her voice filled with awe.
"This, my angel, is an abandoned factory. Well, a former factory." He explains, his voice echoing in the empty space as he shrugs. "It's my own personal art studio now. It's where I come to when I want to be alone and let my creative juices flow."
"Wow..." Anastasia breathes, her gaze wandering around the room. There are cans of spray paint scattered around the place, along with some paintbrushes and other tools. The place is filled with all kinds of paintings, from simple doodles to intricate murals. "I knew you were a great artist, but this is amazing!" She beamed, pulling away from him to examine some of the paintings. She admired the intricate details and vibrant colors of each piece, marveling at Lance's talent. She could feel the passion and creativity emanating from the artwork, each piece telling its own unique story.
"Thanks, angel." Lance replies, a hint of pride in his voice as he watched her explore the space. "I've been coming here for years, ever since I was a kid. It's my sanctuary, my safe haven."
Anastasia continues to explore the room, her gaze wandering over each and every painting. She can feel the energy and emotion radiating from the artwork, the raw intensity of the expressions and feelings conveyed through the colors and lines. Besides the beautiful murals and designs on the wall, the room is decorated with a few couches, chairs, a coffee table, and a couple of bean bags. It's a comfortable space, despite being a little messy and cluttered. It made sense now when he said he's been here since he was a kid. It's a perfect hideout and safe space for him.
"This is incredible." She says softly, a hint of awe in her voice as she glances over at him. She felt honored he was willing to share this space with her, to open up and let her into his world. They've been dating for a few months now and they knew a lot about each other, but she'd never seen this side of him. It was clear that this place was special to him, and Anastasia felt honored that he trusted her enough to bring her here. She walks over to him, noticing he almost seemed a bit nervous. He's not used to people seeing his art, let alone someone he cared about. She leans up and kisses his cheek, her touch gentle and reassuring. "Really, baby. This is amazing. I love it."
Lance visibly relaxes, his shoulders slumping as the tension leaves his body. He wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her close as he places a soft kiss on her forehead. "Thank you, angel." He murmurs, his voice thick with emotion. "It means a lot to me that you like it."
Anastasia gives him a soft smile, her heart fluttering in her chest as she takes in his expression. He's looking at her with such love and affection, his eyes shining with admiration and appreciation. She feels her cheeks heating up, her stomach twisting with butterflies. She can't help but feel overwhelmed with affection for this boy, her secret boyfriend, and her heart swells with joy. "I love you." She whispered, her voice barely above a murmur, but filled with sincerity.
They hadn't said the l word to each other yet. And she hoped she wasn't saying it too soon, but the words had just slipped out. They'd been dancing around it, saying things like "I really like you" and "you're so important to me" and other things similar to that but never saying those three words. But now, she knew without a doubt, that she loved this boy, and nothing was going to change that. Lance's eyes widen in surprise, his expression softening as he gazes down at her. He cups her face gently in his hands, his thumb brushing against her cheek as he leans in to press a tender kiss against her lips. "I love you too, angel." He murmured against her mouth, his words warm and sincere.
She didn't hesitate to kiss him back, standing on her tiptoes to deepen the kiss. Their lips move together in perfect synchronization, a silent exchange of love and affection passing between them. Anastasia feels like she's floating on air, her heart soaring with happiness and contentment. She's never felt more alive, more loved, than she does in this moment with Lance.
As they finally break apart, their foreheads resting against each other, Anastasia can't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion. The words 'I love you' continue to echo in her mind, the reality of them sinking in. She'd fallen in love with this boy, and he'd fallen in love with her. And no matter what happened, no matter where life took them, she knew that their love would endure.
She gasped as she suddenly felt the wall against her back, the rough texture of the brick pressing into her. Lance had pinned her against the wall, his hands cupping her face. She didn't have much time to register what was going on because soon his lips were back on hers. She's surprised by the sudden intensity of the kiss, the desperation and neediness in it. She kissed him back, her arms wrapping around his neck as she pulled him closer. The heat and passion between them was palpable, the intensity of their emotions threatening to consume them.
"I love you so much, angel." He muttered against her lips, his voice husky with desire as he peppered kisses along her jawline. Anastasia felt her heart swell with love and desire, her body responding eagerly to his touch. She melted into his embrace, her hands tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer, craving more of him.
"I love you too, Lance." She whispered breathlessly, her voice filled with longing as she surrendered herself to the moment. Their lips met in a feverish kiss, igniting a firestorm of passion between them. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in each other, their bodies pressed together in a heated embrace.
In that moment, nothing else mattered. Not the looming school year, not the responsibilities they both had, not even the fact that they had to keep their relationship a secret. All that mattered was them, their love, and the passion they shared. The rest of the world faded away, the only thing that existed was them.
"So," Lance speaks up after a few moments of comfortable silence. Their foreheads now rested against each other, both calming down after their heated moment. "Wanna learn how to spray paint?"
Anastasia laughs softly, the sound melodic and filled with happiness. "Sure, why not? Teach me, baby."
Lance grinned his eyes lighting up with excitement as he leads her over to a nearby table where he had laid out some spray paint cans and other supplies. He showed her how to hold the can, how to control the spray, and how to create different effects with the paint. Anastasia listened attentively, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and eagerness to learn. She followed his instructions, practicing on a blank canvas before moving on to the walls of the warehouse.
As they work together, Anastasia feels a sense of connection and intimacy forming between them. She loves the feeling of creating something beautiful with Lance, of sharing this moment with him. They laugh and joke as they paint, their hands brushing against each other as they work side by side. It's a simple moment, but it's filled with so much love and joy that Anastasia knows she'll cherish it forever.
As they finish up, Anastasia stepped back to admire their handiwork. The walls are now covered in vibrant colors and intricate designs, each one a testament to their creativity and passion. She feels a sense of pride swell within her, knowing that they created something beautiful together.
"Wow, it doesn't look like a mess." She laughs, turning her head to look at him. He stood there with a smile, his hands on his hips as he looks at her with a proud expression that made her heart flutter. "I had a good teacher." She told him, bumping her shoulder into his.
"Nah, you're just a natural, angel." He told her, leaning in to kiss her cheek. She smiled, her cheeks heating up. She looked up at him, her gaze soft and loving as she gazed into his eyes.
"I'm glad you brought me here, Lance." She whispers, her voice thick with emotion as she takes his hand. "This place is special to you, and it means a lot that you wanted to share it with me."
Lance smiles, squeezing her hand reassuringly and tries out a new pet name. "You're special to me, sunshine," Lance murmurs, his voice soft with affection as he looked into Anastasia's eyes. "I wanted to show you my secret place because you're one of the most important people in my life. I'm glad I can share this part of my world with you."
Anastasia's heart swells with love and happiness, her face brightening and heart fluttering at the new pet name. Butterflies fill her stomach, her skin tingling at his words. He's never called her sunshine before, and the fact that he chose that moment to say it made her feel like she was floating on air. She beams at him, grinning and tilting her head to the side. "Sunshine, huh?"
Lance smirks, shrugging his shoulders. "What? Don't you like it? I thought it was fitting, considering how you're literally sunshine in human form."
Anastasia giggles, her cheeks heating up as she shakes her head. "No, I love it. I love everything about you, Lance."
Lance's smirk widens, his heart skipping a beat. "I love you too, sunshine." He then pulled his hands away to cup her face with both hands and pulled her in for a passionate kiss, pouring every ounce of his love and adoration for her into it. Anastasia melted into the kiss, her heart pounding in her chest as she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. She felt so warm and fuzzy inside, so loved and cherished. She didn't want this moment to end, didn't want to let go of this feeling. But eventually, they had to come up for air, and reluctantly parted from each other.
"So, how'd I do?" Anastasia asks him as they walked hand-in-hand out of the building and towards his bike. "My first graffiti painting, did I do good?" She asked hopefully, lightly swinging their intertwined hands back and forth, looking up at him with an excited and eager smile.
"You did perfect, sunshine. You're a natural." He tells her, leaning down and pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "Now, let's get you home. I don't want your parents getting worried about you. Plus it is getting late and we got the first day of school tomorrow."
"Right, school." She said softly, her shoulders slumping slightly. "I just wanna stay here with you forever." She complained, pouting up at him.
Lance's heart flutters and he couldn't resist kissing her again. He stops walking, causing her to stop and look at him with a confused expression, but she let out a surprised squeak when he lifted her up suddenly, his arms wrapping around her thighs to support her as he kissed her deeply. She wrapped her legs around his waist, her arms draping around his neck as she kissed him back, the intensity and passion of the kiss leaving her breathless.
After a few moments, they reluctantly pull apart, their breathing heavy and their faces flushed. She giggles at him, shyly biting her lip. "I guess that's one way to cheer me up." She pouts. "Now I really don't wanna go home."
Lance chuckles, his eyes twinkling with amusement and then his face softens as he leans his head against hers. "I know, angel." He leans forward and kisses her nose, thinking it was cute when it scrunched up and her cheats turn more red. "But I don't want to get you into trouble with your parents. And I know how important school is to you, sweetheart." He told her softly.
Anastasia sighs, her shoulders slumping as she nods her head in defeat. She knew he was right, but she couldn't help but wish she could stay here with him, just the two of them, forever. "I know. I just don't want this night to end." She admitted, her voice soft and full of longing.
"I know, sunshine. I don't either. But I will see you tomorrow, okay?" He kisses her cheek before gently placing her down reluctantly. "Let's get you home, yeah?"
She nods her head and smiles, her heart skipping a beat as she looks up at him. "Okay. Thanks for tonight, Lance. I really enjoyed it. I had fun and loved the art. But also getting to spend time with you. And finding out something new about you."
Lance's heart fills with happiness, a wide grin spreading across his face. "I had fun too, sunshine. I'm glad you liked it. Maybe we can come back again sometime."
Anastasia beams at him, her eyes shining with excitement and joy. "I'd like that."
They made their way over to his bike, Lance climbing onto it first before helping Anastasia climb on behind him. He handed her his spare helmet, which she took with a grateful smile. As they rode off into the night, the stars twinkling above them, Anastasia felt like she was on top of the world. She'd never felt more free, more alive, more in love. As they made their way through the streets of town, the wind whipping through their hair, she couldn't help but feel grateful that she'd met Lance. He'd shown her a whole new side of herself, a side she'd never known existed. He'd taught her that she was capable of so much more than she'd ever dreamed, and she was forever changed because of him.
She clung to him, her arms wrapped around his torso, her body pressed close to his. She could feel the muscles of his abdomen rippling underneath his shirt as he drove, the powerful engine roaring beneath them. She felt a rush of adrenaline, the thrill of the ride coursing through her veins. She never wanted this moment to end. But all too soon, he parked at the spot he usually was at, a few blocks from her house. She reluctantly let go, and they both got off the bike.
"I'll text you when I get home." She says softly, looking up at him as she hands him his helmet. "I had a great time tonight, Lance."
He smiles, taking the helmet from her and nodding. "Me too, sunshine. I'll see you tomorrow, okay? I love you."
Anastasia beams, her heart swelling with joy. She'd never get tired of hearing those words. "I love you too, baby." She voiced softly, her voice filled with sincerity.
Lance couldn't resist pulling her into another passionate kiss, his lips moving against hers in a sensual dance. She responded eagerly, her hands tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer, not wanting to let go. They eventually had to part, both breathless and flushed as they gazed into each other's eyes.
"Good night, sunshine." Lance murmured, his voice husky with desire.
"Good night, baby." Anastasia whispered, her eyes shining with love and longing.
They reluctantly parted, Lance climbing back onto his bike while Anastasia headed home. She looked back over her shoulder, smiling to herself as she watched him ride off into the night. She was already looking forward to seeing him tomorrow, and the thought of that kept her spirits high all the way home.
