chapter 28 | Gentleman

"What...?" my heart stops to let me handle this tension, and she sighs, so I hurry to find a way to get to know. "Is it about Dongsik? Did you...Did you do something with him?"

"No," she rolls her eyes. "Stop believing I'd do something with another guy, Jungkook. I'm yours," her response relieves me, making me think this is not as serious as thought. "While you were sleeping," she takes another piece of the lamb skewers to torture me with suspense, making me wait. "Guess what."

I chew on my food in a discreet manner, but I do not show any comprehension. "I don't know..."

"Nineteen," she says. I glance to the right, trying to remember the conversation we had before I fell asleep. I swallow but look back at her. "Nineteen? What does that mean?"

"That's your result to the test," she finally explains and makes me proud of myself. Damn, I did no even study that much. "So now, you know what that means, ma'am," I let some boldness fill me up, but she looks away and eats, concealing her smile. "No, you have to focus."

"But I focused!" I gasp, feeling fooled. "What about the 'if you have more than eighteen out of twenty'? This is bad to lie and raise my hopes."

She laughs at me, but I inch my chair closer to hers and cup her thigh to give a squeeze. "I'm not kidding."

"Is it a threat?" she does not take it seriously as I must not look as dangerous as I want to. "Yes, does it feel like one?"

"No, it doesn't," she giggles. "Eat the food I cooked and stop asking for more."

I don't remove my hand from it is but still eat what's in my dish. "Do I have to go back home after dinner?"

"Yes, I don't want your parents to be worried," she nods. "Okay..."

— Next day —

Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

8 am.

[ hey...do you know what today is? >

< it's Tuesday ]

[ no really? >

[ you don't even remember...☹ >

< What? There's nothing special today, baby...it's not your birthday ]

[ alright. I give you hints 👩‍🏫(pretty teacher) + 🧒(babyboy) = 1. This happened two weeks ago, am I the one counting days? >

< baby...I'm so sorry, I did not think you would count the days spent with me as a couple. I usually count in months, not days or weeks. I'm sorry, but you know I love you❤ ]

[ yeah. Its ok❤ >

"Who are you texting?" Jaehyun takes a peek at my screen, so I immediately lock my phone. "No one," I glance away, not telling him it was y/n. "Come on, are you hiding something from us? Uh?" he hits my arm. "Are you texting Miss Han to tell her that you're about to join her in the classroom?" he sneers, not even realizing what he is saying.

I click my tongue and push him away. "Shut up."

"Ah yeah. I'm sorry. I forgot you don't stand a chance, clumsy boy," he makes fun of me while I'm scoffing internally. If only he knew the truth. "Dongsik," he addresses the one who knows everything since yesterday but who hasn't teased me about me. "What?" he licks his plump lips, but we both make eye contact for a short second, giving him the opportunity to see the nervousness through my soul. "Who do you think stands a chance with Miss Han? Honestly."

"To be honest?" he sighs, biting his bottom lip to show that he's thinking about the question, his hands still in his pockets. "Well, not you."

I chuckle like an idiot, not able to keep it in. Jeahyun does not find it as funny as I and Minjun did, and he punches him. "Asshole."

"Minjun probably has more chances than you do," I add some more frustration to piss him off, but he acts like he didn't hear me. "I'm going to ask her something after class. We'll see if you're both so right."

"What are you gonna ask her?" I become serious as the topic turned negative for me. "That's none of your business. It's my tongue, my mouth, I say what I want and keep what I want inside."

"Yeah, and I shove what I want inside of it," I lift my fist up and give him a fake smile to make sure he does not misunderstand this, but he only answers with a smirk. "You can shove something else."

"You're disgusting," I grimace at the thought of it and get him away from me, but he comes back very quickly. "Do you want to know what I'm gonna ask her?"

"Yeah," I do not hide my curiosity. "All right. I'm gonna ask if she can give me a private lesson, then while we work, I'll try to compliment her, to tell her that I don't know what I would do without her, that she's—"

"No need to try, you won't get her," I push my inner cheek with my tongue to glide the tip of it along my skin, and I cut him off real quick. "Oh, you don't know that."

"Yes, I do," I set my eyes on him, not joking anymore. "No, you don't. Are you maybe scared that she might like me a little more than she likes you?"

"That will never happen, trust me. I'm her baby," I peek at Dongsik's face who seems to enjoy this argument. "Well...maybe I'm not special to her, but Dongsik surely is. Just from the way that he manages to make her smile and giggle when what he says is not even funny, makes it obvious he could bang her anytime, right, dude?" he throws his hand in the tall boy's abs to give a slap, but this one does not react as usual. "Stop saying that."

"Why?" he crosses his arms over his chest, "You don't have a girlfriend anymore anyway. Didn't you say she's your type?"

"Yes, but I don't 'bang' girls," he corrects his behavior of horny teenager that does not respect women, and he calms him down, effortlessly. "All right, Mister 'gentleman' who makes love to women..." he mumbles, flustered by the way he was straightened out. "I didn't know that respecting women was bad or ridiculous now."

"Chill, bro," he huffs. "Do you think a woman wouldn't want you to fuck her? Many of them ask for it."

"You really have never been a relationship, this is fucking unbelievable to talk like that," a chortle full of bother slips out of his mouth. "What? I'm pretty sure Miss Han has a guy to who she asks to fuck her, I don't see the problem."

"But I do, I had several girlfriends, and I was serious with all of them, but they didn't all ask me that type of thing, the only ones who asked for me to fuck them were the ones who did not want anything but my dick. That makes the difference," he starts to get mad again, both of them arguing for a real one more time because of their different point of view. "If a girl that is serious with you asks you that, she will only do it after at least one year of relationship, if not more, otherwise she'll be subtle about it."

"Sure," he averts his eyes from him and flees away from the argument. "Yes, sure. And I don't even know why you're gonna try something with her because she already said that she has a man."

"I forgot..." he lies, feeling offended as always whenever Dongsik shuts him up with the right, mature words. "But many women cheat anyway. Maybe she's one of those."

"No, she's not," he answers perfectly. I hope she isn't, and I believe so. "She obviously respects her partner. She's a good woman."

"How can you even know that when you only have her as a teacher? She could be a stripper, no one knows about her personal life and personality out of work," he insists on being a dumbass, playing with Dongsik's nerves. "Because she would never act like that if she's a bad person. I already had a private talk with her, you do not know anything."

"A private talk? When?" the question leaves my mouth a bit too quickly as I did not expect to let it leave my mind. He looks at me, maybe feeling like he should not have talked about it. "It was during the trip...I wasn't fine and just asked if I could retrieve my phone."

"I wonder what you said to her to make her go against the rules, no other student would make her do that, since she's a good teacher," he is not totally wrong. I do wonder what this was about as well. "This was just about my family."

"Swear on me that you're not dating her secretly," he stares into his eyes, making me sweat by his side, fearing the reaction he might have concerning a possible hidden relationship. "And you better not lie to me because that would make you one of the worst friends ever for hiding such a thing to your supposed 'best friend'."

I nibble on my inner cheek at the sound of this, feeling some heat spread through my head. "I don't date her, got it? And if I was, I would only keep it secret to respect her."

"But you wouldn't respect your own best friends..." he pierces my heart with painful words, making me feel terribly bad. "I hope you're not with her. I'd be disappointed like ever to know that you hid—"

"I'm dating her," I throw out.

His eyes dart towards me, my heart racing, I bite my lips and pray for him to not be upset. "I...Dongsik and Minjun saw us together yesterday...I apologized for not telling you about it, but...but I wanted to show her that she can trust me and that I can keep a secret."

My confession takes him aback. I'm not even surprised.

"Are you kidding me right now?" his features exude some emotions that are hard to decipher. "I'm sorry, Jaehyun...I planned to tell you as well, but it just made me feel horrible."

He peeks at the two other guys, Minjun, who's still as quiet and calm as he was yesterday, and Dongsik, who seems astonished to see me voice it out. "Is he lying?"

"We stumbled upon them kissing in the parking lot yesterday..." he tells the truth. "I felt like I was dreaming because I would not believe what I was saying," Minjun takes part, leaving our best friend, who didn't know about it yet, speechless.

"You...you're the guy she talked about the other day?" he asks me the same question as Dongsik did after getting to know about it, and I nod. "Yeah..."

"I swear that if you're all fooling me, I won't ever trust you anymore," he does not believe us and keeps on looking at each of our faces. "I swear, Jaehyun. It's the truth."

"Just look at his face, it's obvious he's not lying," Dongsik gives him the evidence that will for sure make him understand this is not a joke. He gapes at me. "You can't— What the fuck, dude? How?"

"I don't know..." I shrug, still not knowing why she chose me over all the other guys in this school, or somewhere else. "This is not possible. It's a nightmare again, I'm gonna wake up and text you about it. You cannot be dating Miss Han, she's totally into Dongsik."

"Bro," the concerned one uses a deeper voice. "Stop for fuck's sake. He's already jealous enough, don't lay it on thick."

"Yeah...but I'm still shocked, and I can't believe this is true..." he covers his mouth with his hand. "This is illegal...how can she date one of her students?"

"Can you shut up and be happy for him?" Dongsik brushes this detail away since this is supposed to be great. "Yeah..."

— Five weeks later —

Monday, November 11, 2019.

1:25 pm.

"Dude," Jaehyuk raises his voice as Miss Han hasn't come here yet, talking to his disgusting friends. I pay attention to what they're saying but cannot wait to see her, this gorgeous woman that I missed this weekend.

Everything has been going well these last weeks, we see each other after school or during a break for a private lesson, or more for some minutes that I like to spend to kiss and touch her. This is hard to control myself and be patient when I see her and cannot do anything but act like a simple student. I'm a teenager, my hormones are wild, and this is not my fault.

Only one detail bugs me, the fact that she's been wearing a mask since this morning and told me this is just a little cold when I asked her what is wrong. I feel like she's lying, she seems weaker and very sick since yesterday, she left school earlier, but she does not seem to want to tell me the truth as if she didn't want to worry me.

"I have a private lesson with y/n after school today," the guy I hate creates some rage inside of me. She hasn't talked about this with me, why would she spend some time with him alone?

"I'm sure you're lying," Dongsik turns around to address him. "She doesn't like or stand you, why would she waste her time on you?"

"Do you need the proof? Ask her," he raises his eyebrows with scorn and confidence. "I don't give a damn, I'll just tell her not to stay with a pervert like you in a classroom with no one else there to protect her."

"You sound ridiculous, I'm not the one always checking her out and getting a boner because of her," he lays his eyes on me to remind the whole class about this issue. When will he forget about that moment that I wish could be erased from everyone's mind?

I ignore him but hear everyone laugh. Thank god, y/n noticed it as well and she won't make me get in the front anymore. This was one of the most embarrassing moments in my life.

"Bro, no one forgot about this," he chuckles to make fun of me, but I just send him packing. "Shut the fuck up, I'm sorry for you that even when you have a boner, your small dick is not even visible in your pants," my reply causes a louder reaction than expected, they all yell with amusement to guffaw at him, and Dongsik scoffs as well. "My dick is good enough to make your dear Miss Han cry from pleasure, so keep your mouth shut, asshole."

"You think," I sneer and look at him. "She doesn't like you. You're just a student, so she does her job."

"Did she suck your dick that you're her little puppy who cannot stop sticking to her ass all the time?" he tries his best to come back with the best argument, but I roll my eyes and stop losing my time. "I just want to know 'cause she sucked mine, so I wouldn't be surprised."

"Stop the bullshit," I do not believe him but clench my jaw. "Bullshit?" a chortle escapes him as he's holding his phone and sitting on his table. "Are you jeal—"

"You're just making up some stuff because you lack confidence, you poor guy. A real man who fucks the girls he wants doesn't need to brag about it all the time, so keep that dirt in your mouth for fuck's sake," Dongsik voices out with anger in the tone of his voice, glaring at him and not standing it anymore. "Have you seen the type of woman she is? She's well-mannered, respectable, and well-educated, she'd never get on her knees for a trashy person like you."

The guy does not respond but only scoffs at his face, out of argument or words. He knows he cannot ever be right when he fights with Dongsik. Dongsik is too smart.

"Are you saying that just because you keep banging Areum?" the trash's best friend stands up for him, attempting to bring him down. "Areum is my girlfriend, don't include her in this because that has nothing to do with Miss Han. You both are scumbags who are frustrated, and you need to disrespect or talk low about women because you can't have them or keep one. That's all."

I smirk at his words that always manage to impress me.

"Stop acting smart..." he raises his eyebrows as well, not knowing how to respond or shoot back. I chuckle and look at my best friend, but he sighs and shows me how tired he is of them.

Everything stops in my head as soon as I hear the sounds of a pair of pumps in the hallway, I sit more properly on my chair but notice my table mate is sleeping. He truly never does anything good.

"Good afternoon," she joyfully enters the room and brightens up the mood, shining from everywhere as usual. All the guys in here answer with the same word, and we all stand up. "I apologize for being late," she says sorry and hurries to lay her stuff on her desk.

"It's—"

"It's fine, Ma'am. Don't worry," Dongsik interrupts Jaehyuk to not allow him to speak up. She smiles at him and opens her laptop, but she puts her face mask over her mouth and nose. I can't help but be worried, her voice is even more husky than earlier.

"If you ever feel too sick or something, tell us, all right? Don't overwork or wear yourself out, please," Dongsik acts a bit too gentleman with the woman he should avoid to not make me jealous. I'm possessive, once again, this is not my fault. "I won't, don't worry. Thank you for caring though," she shows her gratitude but does not take her jacket off, she sits down and opens her book. "All right, let's get back to where we ended the lesson this morning."

I do as told and open my book on page number twenty-four, and I grab my pencil.

"Jungkook," she pronounces my name in a broken voice, getting my heart to jump out my chest. "Y—Yeah?"
