I felt the tears pour down my face as I replayed the physical altercation in my head. I was merely in denial that that was Hyun. I tried to take deep breaths which only led to more stress. The pressure built up on my chest as I struggled to collect enough air to stay conscious.

Losing Hyun was not an open option for me because of Echo Girl. I snapped my head to the side and looked at Tae and Nari.

"I can't let him go. I refuse to."

"OOOOH TAE! OUR LITTLE [y/n] IS IN LOVE~"

"I am not in love. I just don't want to lose him."

I saw Nari roll her eyes and I shrugged it off. Love wasn't the word I would use to describe a fickle relationship I have with the man I hardly know. Affection wasn't really my thing nor was showing any emotion at all. I preferred it this way also. But at the same time, I didn't want to lose him to her. I couldn't.

"I'll take you up on my end now. I have one final request from you though, please fix all of this." I pleaded Unknown and his reply was almost instant.

"I'll be glad to help under a single circumstance, you become my assistant and forgot anyone you have ever loved. Yoosung, Nari, Tae, and even Hyun. He is better off without you. His destiny is with someone else."

"Deal."

"Perfect. Meet me at the warehouse by the fox park at midnight."

I looked at Nari joking with Tae and smiled slightly.

"Guys, I have to get ready for a trip to a studio to help sort this out. Please understand and be reasonable about this." I smiled with quivering lips while Nari widened her eyes.

"No [y/n]. You're lying. You always lie to protect us." Nari clasped my hands in hers and looked at me, full of worry.

"Cut it out. You're not alone in this. We're your friends so stop secluding yourself from us."

I looked at them both and my phone rang.

"Tell them and they'll get hurt. It'll be all your fault."

"Go away. I don't want to talk to you. How can I trust you when you guys always talk about me behind my back?"

"Talk about you? What the hell are you talking about?" Tae questioned and took a step towards me.

"Go away! All I do is hurt those near me! Go away before you're next. Please."

"Nari, let's go."

"No. I'm not leaving my childhood best friend because she asked so simply. I need a reason."

"A reason? I can't stand the woman you turned out to be Nari. You're so clingy and I can't stand how you're so dependent on Tae. You constantly drag him down and get in my way. I hate your laugh and immaturity. You always like a child and it seems like so much of a burden on Tae. You're selfish and only think of yourself whenever Tae needs someone."

Nari clenched my hand and shook her head.

"You're only saying these things to push me away."

"I hate you." I spit the line through my teeth and ripped my hands from her grasp.

She widened her tear welled eyes and looked over at Tae. He wanted to leave bad and I could tell by his facial expression that he was over me and everything we shared.

"Nari. We need to go. We have worn out our welcome."

I watch Tae grab Nari's arm and she slid her shoes on before they both left the house. He slammed the door and I sat in my chair.

"Good. Now get ready." Unknown said before I laid my head in my arms at the table and cried.

I woke up to the numbing sensation that stung my arms because I fell asleep in them. I groggily reached for my phone to check the time and shot my head up. I had to be there in 45 minutes and it was half an hour walk. I quickly got up to shower and packed my backpack with stuff to bring and made my way out of my apartment.
