“What's happening? Anong sinasabi ng babaeng 'yan?”

I can't hide my smile anymore especially when Rylan finally came near us. Kunot na kunot naman ang noo ng babae nang makita siya.

“She said she's pregnant and you're the father,” I spoke to Rylan without looking at him.

“Ano? Anong pinag---”

“'Wag ka nang magsinungaling! Natandaan mo ba no'ng last time na pumunta ka sa bar? Nagkuwento ka sa akin! Sabi mo, hindi kayo nag-se-sex ng girlfriend mo kaya naghahanap ka ng fuck buddy! May nangyari sa atin! Ngayon buntis ako!” hinihingal na sabi ng babae. Pinigilan naman siya ng guard nang lumapit kay Rylan. “Ano ba? 'Wag niyo nga akong pigilan! Narinig niyo ako! Magkaka-anak na kami ng boss niyo! Magiging boss niyo rin ako!”

I was totally shocked with what I heard. My eyes are wide while looking at Rylan. I can't really read his reaction right now. Parang siya ay gulat din sa narinig.

Napansin ko namang pinagbubulungan kami ng ibang employees.

“We can talk about it inside the office,” I calmly said and entered Rylan's office.

They don't have a choice but to follow me. I just sat down on the couch and Rylan immediately sat beside me.

“Don't believe her, alright? Just trust me.” He even held my face.

No matter how much I'm happy now that we can finally split together — I just can't show it to him. I should act like I loathe him for cheating on me.

But I also admit that I'm disappointed.. very disappointed with him.

Pumikit ako nang mariin. “I want to listen to her, Rylan..”

“No. No. Please...”

“Ikaw ba ang girlfriend ni Rylan?” Napatingin ako sa babae nang magsalia siya. I noticed that she's looking around the office. “Kung ikaw ang girlfriend niya — well, ako naman ang future wife niya. Narinig mo naman ako kanina, 'di ba? We fucked---”

“Shut up! You're insane!”

Nagulat naman ako nang lumapit sa kaniya si Rylan at tinulak pa siya. Kaagad akong tumayo. They're talking about something but I don't hear them.

I'm just looking at them tiredly. I just want this to be over. I don't need their stories and explanation. I want to get rid of them especially kay Rylan!

“Sabihin mo sa kaniya ang totoo! Two months na simula nang maging fuck buddies tayo! Tell her! Sige na!”

The woman showed us some pictures. She even has a picture with Rylan on the bed but Rylan was asleep. Pinakita rin niya sa akin ang iba pa nilang picture na magkasama. It clearly shows that they are fuck buddies just like what she said earlier.

“Oo, totoo lahat ng nakikita mo. Itong mga picture na magkasama kami.. nag-sex kami niyan. Hinawakan niya ako. Hinalikan. Sabik na sabik siya sa akin," she intently told me as if she'll hurt me with her words. Nakita ko namang galit na nakatingin sa kaniya si Rylan. “Ang boyfriend mo.. gustong-gusto ako sa kama. Your boyfriend wants to be my boyfriend. He's lucky, magiging asawa na niya ako soon.”

She even smiled sweetly after that.

I couldn't stop myself anymore and walked closer to them as I slapped Rylan. Gulat siyang napatingin sa akin.

“Alindra, hindi 'yon totoo!”

“'Wag mo na akong lokohin! We're over! Go and fuck yourselves!”

Rylan tried to follow me when I went outside his office. I noticed that there are a lot of employees that are whispering while looking at us. They'll surely spread the information that they've heard earlier.

“Please, love.. 'wag namang ganito!” rinig kong sabi ni Rylan habang hinahabol niya ako. “Just stop for a while! Napapahiya ako sa ginagawa mo!”

I took a deep breath and faced him. “Napapahiya ka? Ano na lang kaya ang sasabihin ng Daddy mo kapag nalaman niyang nakabuntis ka ng ibang babae? And of course, malalaman niya 'yon sa ibang tao pa. Good luck, maraming nakarinig kanina.” Ngumisi ako. “What is done is done, Ry. Own up your mistakes. And congrats, magkaka-anak ka na..”

I already left him there even if he's still saying something and continuously apologizing for what he did. I don't really care about what happened. The important thing for me right now is that I'm finally free. Ito lang naman ang hinihintay ko — ang magkaroon ng rason para hiwalayan ko si Rylan. The reason why I can't just easily break up with him is that he helped Dad a lot when it comes to our business and finances. Kahit papaano ay may utang na loob pa rin kami sa kanila.

Ang hindi ko lang matanggap ay hindi siya nakuntento sa akin! He even used another woman to satisfy his needs! Just because I don't allow him to touch me!

Mabilis akong nakaalis sa building nila at umuwi na lang sa unit. I decided to call Erica. I want to drink and party later.

“Let's go to the bar tonight. My treat,” kaagad kong sabi kay Erica nang sagutin niya ang tawag.

I didn't wait for her response anymore, I just ended the call immediately. Hinintay ko na lang na maggabi para makapunta na kami sa bar. I already saw Erica at the front door of the bar later that night when I finally arrived at the place. I also saw that she's talking to the bouncer. Wearing my black fitted tube dress, I walked to their direction.

“Hey, let's go inside,” sabi ko kaagad kay Erica.

“Oh, nandito ka na pala! Kanina pa kita hinihintay!” The music is so loud that she needed to raise her voice. “Jo, party na kami! Kitakits bukas!” rinig kong sabi niya pa sa bouncer bago ako hilahin papasok.

“What was that? Kilala mo 'yong bouncer na 'yon?”

“Yeah, dude. Basta mahabang kuwento! Tequila!” sabi naman niya nang makakuha kami ng table. “Ba't nag-aya ka yata bigla mag-bar?”

I shrugged my shoulders as I glanced at the people around us. “I just want to drink. Hiwalay na kami ni Rylan..”

Ngumisi naman siya bago uminom ng drink sa shot glass. “Iinom ka para magluksa o.. para mag-celebrate?”

Inagaw ko naman sa kaniya ang Mojito na hawak at ininom 'yon. I missed the taste of this hard drink.

“I don't want to answer that, Erica.” I rolled my eyes. “We're here to drink! To party! At na-s-stress na rin ako sa subjects namin! I want to be drunk!"

Humalakhak naman si Erica. “So stress reliever ang mag-party, gano'n?”

“Kind of.” I smirked and raised my shot glass. “Cheers!”

“Cheers!”

Sabay kaming uminom ni Erica. I'm seeing a lot of familiar faces here. I hope Rylan's not here though 'cause I know that he goes here almost everytime.

“Hi, Alindra! You're also here pala! Sabi na nga ba in-invite ka nina Lianne eh!"

Kumunot naman ang noo ko nang may makitang batchmate sa kabilang table. “Lianne? No, she didn't invite me. Anong mayro'n?”

“Ay! Hindi ko nasabi sa ‘yo! Birthday ni Lianne, in-invite ako!” sabi naman ni Erica saka lumapit sa akin para bumulong. “Nandito rin pala si Hottie professor mo..”

“What?! Hindi mo sinabi kaagad!” I quickly stood up and took my bag.

“Sa'n ka pupunta? 'Wag mong sabihing aalis ka?”

I chuckled at her reaction. I noticed that she's wearing a white sleeveless top and ripped jeans. Napangiwi ako dahil doon.

“I'll just retouch my makeup,” bulong ko sa kaniya. “Excuse me, Hannah. I'll just go to the restroom..”

“Sure! Basta later, lipat kayo sa table namin!” She even smiled.

Tuwang-tuwa naman si Erica sa narinig niya sa akin. “'Yon oh! Kaibigan ko 'yan!"

I just shook my head and smirked at her reaction. I'm now tipsy because of the drinks that I drank but i can still walk properly. Hindi na ako nagtagal sa rest room nang matapos ako. I'm not surprised anymore when I saw Sir Yves on Hannah's table. Nandoon din sina Lianne at iba pang batchmates. Almost all of the students in our university is here.

“Happy birthday, Lianne!” I greeted her and smiled when I walked closer to them.

“Uy! Thank you! Buti pumunta ka! I thought magkasama kayo ng kuya ni Rachel!”

I chuckled a bit. “Let's not talk about it here. Let's party and drink tonight! Cheers, guys!”

Sabay-sabay naman naming tinaas ang shot glass at uminom. Kitang-kita ko naman ang ngisi ni Erica sa kinatatayuan ko.

“Lindra, upo ka rito!”

Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata. I saw that she's beside Sir Yves that is laughing with other students now. My forehead creased while looking at him.

Wala na akong nagawa nang hilahin ako ni Erica paupo sa tabi ni Sir Yves. We're both surprised when we looked into each other's eyes for a fleeting moment. Hindi na ako nakapagreklamo pa kay Erica especially now that I'm just beside this professor.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit nandito siya. Maybe, Lianne invited him here.

“Erica!” I called her out when she left me. Lumipat siya sa kabilang table kasama sina Joshua!

She just smirked and stuck out her tongue at me. Napairap na lang ako at diretsong ininom ang Margarita sa harapan ko.

“Drink moderately..”

Nagulat naman ako nang bumulong si Sir Yves bigla. Hindi naman 'yon narinig ng iba pang students dahil medyo malayo sila. They're all busy chatting to each other while drinking.

“Of course, Sir." I showed him my most beautiful smile. I made sure that I'll make him affected.

I think it's effective 'cause he stared at me for a while.

“Kung ano man ang sinabi ni Regi---”

Nilagay ko sa bibig niya ang daliri ko. “Shh. Just forget about it..”

We both looked at my finger on his lips. Ramdam na ramdam ko kung gaano kalambot ang labi niya.

What does it feel to kiss him?

I leaned closer to him as I tilted my head — initiating for a kiss but he quickly looked away when someone asked me.

“Alindra! Where's your boyfriend?” Tumingin naman kaagad ako kay Sir Yves dahil sa tanong ni Sabina — Lianne's friend. “I mean, fiance! I saw his post ah? Ganda ng ring! Looks so sosyal!”

I sighed in relief. I thought she saw what I was doing a while ago.

I sighed. “He's still working and yeah, the ring is really beautiful..”

I raised my hand to show them my ring. Napansin ko namang tumingin din doon ang katabi kong professor lalo na nang pagkaguluhan pa 'yon nina Sabina.

“Wow! Ang ganda talaga! When's the wedding?”

“I still don't know. Pinag-uusapan pa namin ni Rylan,” I told them after I shrugged.

I keep on smirking especially when I saw Sir Yves' reaction on the side of my eyes. I want to tease him!

“You're so lucky to have him! Rylan's family is rich huh! Especially sa States!” sabi pa ng isa.

“I agree..”

I want to puke when someone said that. He's just rich but he's not faithful. He's a cheater. Kung pwede lang sabihin. I didn't tell them that we already broke up 'cause they'll just spread it to almost everyone. Ayaw kong pag-usapan kami ng ibang tao especially ang panloloko sa akin ni Rylan. People will pity me and I don't like that.

Napangisi ulit ako nang halos hindi ako tingnan ni Sir Yves. He looks so stiffed while staring at the dance floor.

“Sir, bakit ayaw niyo uminom? Come on, let's drink!” aya ni Yuzon, also one of Lianne's friends.

“Hindi na. Babantayan ko na lang kayo.” Nakangiti pa siya.

Damn! I can't stop from staring at him especially with that smile of him!

“Hala! Ang KJ ni Sir!”

They all laughed when a petite girl said that. I don't think she's our batchmate because she looks a bit older than us but younger than Sir Yves. Matamis ang ngiti niyang nakatingin sa lalaking professor. It's a good thing that she's not close to us. Hindi ko mahihila ang buhok niya.

“Iinom na 'yan! Iinom na 'yan!” They cheered in unison. Hindi naman ako nakisali.

I tried to hold his hands which happened to be on his thighs. Hindi ko namalayang nahawakan ko rin ang hita niya. I gently squeezed it. By this time, I'm dizzy at nararamdaman ko na rin ang tama ng alak sa katawan ko.

I feel so hot right now.

“No!” Sir Yves said when I held his thighs and hands together. Napatingin naman sa kaniya halos lahat. “I mean.. no. Hindi ako pwedeng uminom...”

“Pa-good boy si Sir ah!”

Nagtawanan naman sila. Hindi ko mabasa ang reaction niya nang tumingin sa akin. It's just obvious that he's struggling. I quickly removed my hand on his thighs and smirked. Mas lalo akong nahilo nang umiwas ng tingin sa kaniya.

“Let's dance! Tara!” aya ni Lianne at dinala ang kaniyang shot glass. “Come on, Sir! Alindra!”

“Dito lang ako.” Ngumiti nang kaunti si Sir Yves.

I shook my head. “I'll stay here..”

“Ang KJ niyo!”

“Hayaan niyo na si Sir!” Lumipat ang tingin ko kay Erica nang magsalita siya. She's now dancing together with her other friends. She even winked at me.

Maingay ang paligid dahil sa music. The disco lights are also blinding that's why I just closed my eyes especially when my head hurts.

“Don't stay here. Sumayaw ka kasama ng mga kaibigan mo..”

Dumilat naman ako nang biglang magsalita si Sir Yves. Halos kaming dalawa na lang ang natira sa table. Mas lalo akong lumapit sa kaniya.

“Why? You don't want me here? I'm dizzy. Ayaw ko nang tumayo para sumayaw,” napapaos kong sabi sa kaniya.

“Just please don't try to seduce me,” mariin ang pagkakasabi niya.

I smirked. “I won't. Bakit? 'Yong kanina.. was that effective to seduce you? Huh, sir?”

Nilapit ko pa lalo ang sarili sa kaniya. Malakas ang loob ko dahil madilim kung nasaan kami. I want to touch him. I want to kiss him right now.

So freaking bad.

“Alindra, please. Stop it. Lasing ka na.” I smirked even more when I saw that he's really affected. I teased him by sipping on my Margarita as I sat on his lap. I even tried to kiss him. “Miss Rivera!”

Napatalon ako sa gulat dahil sa pagsigaw niya. I saw that he's really mad while looking at me. Mabuti at wala naman kaming kakilala sa paligid dahil busy sila sa pagsayaw sa dance floor.

“You're so hard to get! I hate you!”

I left him there and went straight to the parking lot. I don't know why I suddenly burst into tears. Ang alam ko lang, napahiya ako! I feel so unattractive when he almost pushed me away! Pakiramdam ko, diring-diri siya sa akin!

Damn it! Nakakainis!

Ni hindi man lang ba siya naapektuhan kanina? If no, then maybe what I did wasn't enough for him to be affected! Or maybe I'm not beautiful enough in his eyes! Mas nagagandahan ba siya sa babae kanina? At sa Regina na 'yon?

Mas lalo lang akong naiinis kapag naalala ko 'yon!

... ... ...
