did
in seventh grade, you had a crush on park eun-jae.
don't try and tell me i'm wrong, taehyung, because you know i'm right.
every day you would talk about her.
"park eun-jae is so pretty! i wish i could talk to her."
"hey, did you see what eun-jae is wearing today? she looks so cute!"
it was honestly quite adorable.
twelve year old you fanboy-ing over a girl in our grade.
remember those days, tae?
we had no worries.
together, we were fearless.
it was you and i, nobody could interfere.
remember when we graduated from middle school?
you graduated with honors.
i was so damn proud.
we went for tteokbokki after.
we laughed over memories, and you ended up spilling your juice all over your white shirt.
you were so scared that your mom would be mad. it was hilarious.
you ushered me to the washroom where you forced me to help you scrub out the stain.
fun fact, grape juice does not come out of white clothing.
the best part?
your mom wasn't even mad.
you once told me best friends are like peeing your pants.
everybody can see it, but only you can feel it.
you were that type of friend.
i don't think anyone could really grasp how close we were, taehyung.
we might of as well been joined at the hip or something
you never voluntarily left my side.
our friendship was pretty weird, but i wouldn't trade it for anything.
speaking of weird,
do you remember that one time i was over at your house?
when you were drinking milk straight out of the carton, and i made you laugh?
milk came out of your nose and back into the carton, but you still decided to put it in the fridge.
then shortly after your brother came downstairs and drank it
i wonder if he ever found out.
well, i guess you know now, jeonggyu.
